With TV's on the smaller end, you really don't need the 4K resolution, but when you get into the larger displays, it makes a huge difference. The smart TV functions are great, and very intuitive. You can obviously spend more if you demand a premium product, but this TV will meet or surpass the needs of 90(+)% of the people out there.

Great in some ways

Great feature is that the remote will pair with many of the devices eliminating some remotes. The menu's are really easy to navigate, and provide tons of configuration options. Upscaling is OK but certainly leaves some artifacts in darker scenes. I knocked off stars and ultimately returned the product due to a software bug that cut off the sound at random times. The only way to get it back was to turn off the TV and turn it on. I did some searching and it seems to be only with certain cable or satellite boxes. If mine wasn't one of them I would still own this set.

I thought the show was filmed differently but it was the clarity that was so much better. Colors are gorgeous.

Just the right size for the area (small living room - apartment), anything larger would not work. Received quick delivery, I saved over $200. Checked with another discount store for the same model and they were much higher than BEST Buy.
