Good deal for the money

Was probably out of my price range but they had an open box which made it a great deal. The tv was rated really high and came highly recommended but the clarity of the picture just wasnt as clear as the floor model looked. Glad i didnt pay full price. But overall not a bad tv.

Not as good as I had expected.

The volume ranges between 15 to 60 from station to station, so I constantly have to adjust it. It was a gift however.

I am sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the image quality, and had volume variation issues with your NU8000 TV.
Please know that our typical store mode is showing the “dynamic” picture mode which is very bright. We recommend Standard mode at home environment for the everyday viewing experience.
In addition to the display screen, the quality of the image on your screen also depends on the source and the connection. For example, the quality of the streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that would automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

good TV but picture falls short

Bought for my Mom

As a former Samsung employee I can attest this was not their best model...

Picture not as good as the 46D8000 model

Stopped working after less than 2 years

I have never had a TV die on me, even with cheaper brands. Before it stopped working, the software also made using the TV frustrating, as it would regularly lag and/or freeze up. Will probably stay away from Samsung in the future.

Major flaws

Nice tv apps buggy

WOW, OMG!!!

I HATE the legs on all of 2018 models, very inconvenient & looks terrible. Center stands work & look the best! I tried to save a little money but buying one and because of the 2 legs it didn’t fit the area! But this tv there is no comparison to! It is just a beautifully made & feature rich set! Very easy to put together. I am a 55 yr young woman who had it out of the box and running inside of 30 minutes including putting the stand on which is awesome and so secure btw! The packaging wasn’t like anything else I’ve not seen for other Samsung’s with padded screen protection around the frame of the screen, neat & securely packed. Very impressive! The Bixby assistant needs no training just speak & go & works perfectly. The picture quality out the box is phenomenal with a bright crisp & clear picture I would compare to the QLED sets! Not skipping or jumping in the frames and no hesitation or blurts in action or moving scenes. Very smooth & effortless in high action shots! The sound is great for a flat screen much better then I’ve heard with an ability of 3 sound levels one being “amplify” which brings it to a whole other level of awesome! BUY IT! You won’t regret it. I am Unbelievably happy & satified with my purchase & definitely recommend this set for ALL of your tv needs. Thanks Samsung for such an awesome experience with this tv!!!
