Defective Design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY this washer, it has a major design flaw that Samsung is aware about! The defect is the drum weights that are made of CONCRETE, yes, CONCRETE! They work as a counter balance internally to make sure the drum is balanced... The issue with concrete is that moisture causes it to breakdown and become brittle therefore creating a weight imbalance in the drum after they start to deteriorate and the debris shows up in the catch. As a result, when your machine is in the spin cycle (off-balanced), it will create major shaking/vibration and banging which eventually will damage your machine and render it useless... Most of the cases can't be repaired... Samsung's solution to the design flaw, a refund MINUS a proration, so if you try to buy a replacement you'll have to out of pocket! ZERO responsibility on Samsung's part - THANKS SAMSUNG... I did forget to mention that I purchased the machine on Nov 8th 2020, it was delivered on Nov 20th, 2020... The issue started the end of November 2021 and I've been dealing with Samsung servicing for 2 weeks now. This unit is a several days over the 1 year mark... To summarize, DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG WASHERS and customer service is horrible, I'm currently on hold - 3 hours +. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG.

I had to pay best buy $125 to come assess and they told me the drum is broke and the part alone is $350, before installation. Very disappointed this lasted 3.5 years and i now need to buy a new washer

When it's spinning, it gets so loud, like a jet taking off. Our close neighbors can hear it, it's so loud. I expected better coming from Samsung. It's the only brand we purchase for our appliances and cell phones.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally don’t recommend this washer and dryer. I’ve had it probably for 5 or 6 months now. The washer is leaking from its door where you load the clothes a few times now and the dryer will randomly add time drying the clothes which is annoying. Sometimes it’ll take up to almost 3 hours. I always make sure the washer and dryer are not completely loaded due to this issue and it still occurs.
