We purchased an samsung dryer and washer. It's Great! They do a great job cleaning the garments. We purchased this set to utilize in our home after using a filthy washer and dryer which use to leave very bad smell in the clothes even I have get it professionally cleaned. The machine is able to clean everything while still leaving a pleasant scent and overpowering the old scent! Before writing this review, I waited thirty loads to be sure they were worth my time.

This is my 3rd Samsung Washer/Dryer set purchase in my lifetime. My first set lasted 17 years. My 2nd set, which is in Ohio, was purchased in 2018, and only frustrating mention for that set is that the Washer seal holds water, so you have to make sure you pull the rubber seal up multiple times after wash to help drain the overage of water out of the seal and leave the door open to dry out. There is also flaking that has occurred around the access door on the front, like a chrome flaking off. For this Review of the Brushed Black: I was impressed that the rubber seal drainage problem was fixed, so no water build-up occurs in this model, BUT-the softener tray has NEVER dispensed correctly since my time of purchase, which was 2 years ago. I went into the store to ask about the issue, and they said it was a Samsung problem, as it must be a "lemon", but nothing has been done. The issue is, the softner does not dispense until AFTER the was is complete, so when cycle has ended, and front door is opened, THEN the softener dispenses out and onto the floor. I'm still trying to figure out how to get this issue resolved, as it is frustrating having to use strong ino-wash scents to help with the freshness and softness of the laundry.

One feature I didn’t know I needed until now is the wrinkle prevention option. If I can’t get to the dryer right away, it periodically tumbles the clothes to keep them from sitting in one spot and getting wrinkled. It’s also impressively fast. A full load of laundry dries in record time compared to my old machine. And, just like the washer, the dryer operates quietly, which is especially appreciated in my household. Beautiful set! Got it on sale, I bought this set for my daughter who had a really awful top-loader. She loves this set, never seen her do so much laundry! Loading is pain-free with the front loading feature, and I also love the quick wash. I usually put the setting on high soil, and my wash is done in 30 mins. Perfect for water conservation. We really love the bedding settings, this will handle a couple of blankets (do one at a time for heavier). It's a great machine all around.

The washer works great and is very efficient. The only issue with these machines is that if something break there seems to be little anyone can do to actually repair it. The bearing went out in my previous one and the whole unit had to be replaced instead of someone just putting in new bearings. Other than that the smart feature is nice and convenient especially with our Samsung T.V.’s we get notifications when the was load is done which is really nice. All in all it’s a good washer and does the job. I just hope this replacement one actually lasts longer than my previous one without something breaking.
