Top load = dirty clothes front load cleans them.

The front load is the way to go since top loads do not have agitators any longer. A top load the clothes just sit in one place with no movement in dirty water that just drain through the clothes, if theres any grass or other debris on the clothes they just sit on the clothes since the water drains at the bottom and these solid materials cant pass through the clothes. So, my advice if you want clean clothes go front load.
