I love the ability to be able to connect to it with my phone and get alerted when cycles are completed or even operate it remotely.

Obviously, this is a concern considering Best Buy installed the unit. I'm not sure if this is normal (hard to imagine) or if there is a loose wire causing the issue. I'll be reaching out to Best Buy to discuss as the unit is under warranty.

My wife has been using the Samsung 5.0 Front Loading He washer for over a year now. I will be buying her a new washer to address multiple issues she has conveyed to me. Front loading washers build up a filth around the front seal of the lid, the build up of filth is worsened by the small amount (high efficiency) of water being used per load. The 5.0 cu. ft. is more like 2.5 cu. ft. considering the amount of water per load. The issue with placing 5.0 cu. ft. of clothing in this washer will result in detergent stains which have ruined $$$ worth of clothing alone. I would advise all customers to be aware of the pitfalls of he (high-efficiency) and what it means for the end user. I know we all need to conserve our water however, this is not an option for the laundry room. Lets be more efficient with water usage elsewhere such as cutting back shower times to 5-10 min. By the way, Golf courses use over 70 billion gallons of water a year. We could start there instead of our laundry rooms.

Makes knocking sound and door pushes out when spinning and slams back into itself. This washer also had struggles with certain cycles at 13 and 11 min left. After load was done, there were some dry spots on clothes.

And its not covered by the warranty. Also it's easy to bump into buttons and accidentally turn it off when reaching for something if you have a shelf.
