Just two words Dolby Atmos for this price of 750 was a steal can never go back to using standards speakers again. The sound is clear and the bass is even, not all that extra knocking.

Nice quality sound!! A little expensive for a Samsung but it’s got the two extra speakers, got this when was discounted for Black Friday which it seemed more reasonable I don’t think it’s worth 1k

Previously I had a Sony sound bar which is 2.1 channel but not Dolby atmos which I used for almost 3 years. I have upgraded to Samsung q850t soundbar last month, sound seems pretty good. Highs are nice but the voice clarity is a little boxy but overall it’s a good product. Easy recommendation.

This sound system rivals even non bluetooths set ups. I mean set ups that are more expensive and more complicated to set up. This is the best bang for the buck no doubt.

When this soundbar is up and running it is one amazing sound machine for movies and such. Dolby Atmos is a wonderful experience. The wireless feature for the sub woofer and rear surround is easy to set up and they work with ease. One of the issues I have had is the sync with speech. It never stays the same and adjusting is quite a hit and/or miss. More critical is the system shutting down for no reason at all. It will just not carry any signal after 10 minutes of use or for as much as 90 minutes. You can always get it back after turning off the sound bar and turning it on. At that point any enjoyment of a movie has since long passed. I am waiting for it to come back from Best Buy Geek Squad and if the issues persist, and I fully expect they will, I will be contacting Samsung for a warranty claim. I am not the first customer to complain about this issue and would think that Samsung would treat its customers better. If you are thinking of buying one, do your homework first!!!!!

I have had this for 2 months now and I am so incredibly happy that I purchased this. I upgraded from sound coming out of my budget friendly Vizio TV to this incredible set. I realize that this is not a top tier set, but it certainly is not a low end set. I am thrilled with the quality of sound and the ability to immerse me in the movies/shows. Everyone who comes into my house is blown away by the speakers whether Dolby Atmos is enabled, Music is playing, or just a regular ol' tv show! I highly recommend this soundbar if you're on the fence about it. Now the problem is that this amazing sound system doesn't pair well with the 40" tv that we have. So onto the next buy.

Sounded great for my living room. The sub shakes the whole room for them action packed movies. Makes it feel like you are there.

This has been an amazing purchase. Coupled with my Samsung t.v it get the q-symphony amazing sound quality and the sound doesn't travel into other rooms..

This soundbar fills our house with great sound! The bass is shocking good, and the clarity is amazing. I think it would be better priced at about 700 bucks, but we’re happy with it.

Very good sound and working without problems, Just turn on the television and it only turns on and works with the same remote control.

I wanted a sound bar that supported DTS:X and especially Dolby Atmos. The two products which were close in price were the Samsung and the LG SN9YG. The Samsung HW-Q850T includes extra rear satellite speakers which the LG does not, and the fact that it supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos. I was able to buy the product when both LG and Samsung were discounted a hundred or so and and I also bought a repacked product which was another hundred or so off from that price. The documentation always seems to leave out certain information that would be helpful in understanding how to get everything to work together. If you are going to invest in this level of audio, you probably will want a 4K TV that can do Dolby Vision and match up with the sound card audio and maybe a higher end 4K BluRay player. The package is very large and unbalanced because of the large subwoofer. It seems to me that they might want to send these in two separate boxes which could be much more easy to handle. And the repack did not include the HDMI cable so the savings was slightly less than expected. But overall, Samsung has a good product at that price point.

Wow, just wow. The sound and quality are incredible. Easy set up with Samsung TV. Unlike most others the sound is enveloping and this set was worth every penny.

The best surround sound by far the rear speakers and subwoofer make the theater effect perfect blows the windows out

Ok I got this and after 3 weeks the speaker went out. After talking to Best Buy and Samsung direct they replaced it with no problems and have had no issues with the new one. Great sound and really good bass. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because of the first unit going out but again so far the new one is performing perfectly

Well this items sound is bomb when setup correctly but dont be fooled the side small speakers are not wireless but a wireless ish reciever to wired speakers

Nice sound system. Easy setup. The kids came over and I put in a movie and they couldn't believe how good it sounds. Said it sounded like go to the movies.

It is a good system. The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating was because I am having problems adjusting the rear speakers to be louder. I also had problems connecting to a Q80t tv and had to call Samsung customer service. Both are Samsung product and should not have been that difficult to connect them with each other.
