FYI the rear speakers are not Bluetooth. They have a Bluetooth relay box for both rear speakers. The chords are somewhat short. Other than that they are great. 5 stars if the rear speakers were Bluetooth.

THIS SOUNDBAR COMPLEMENTS MY NEW SAMSUNG Q70T 55" TV. THE SOUNDBAR HAS DOLBY ATMOS. THE SOUND IS AWESOME! Amazing Sound

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because I couldn’t get any assistance from Samsung updating the software and they were clueless. I eventually figured it out on my own.

And i didnt find out til after that it doesnt support 5.1 lpcm through its earc port. May be buying new one this holiday along with new TV so i can get audio to sync properly and use my hdmi 2.1 port for ps5 finally. Samsungs tvs unfortunately really suck now cause the earc port on Samsung q90T doesnt support 5.1 lpcm on that like it says it ob their website and multiple people on multiple forums have complained to them about the issue and samsung doenst even acknowledge there is a problem and its like that on ALL 2020 AND 2021 samsung tvs. They need to firmware update it!!! NOW!

I replaced an older Sony system. I came across this one on sale at 599.99 from 999.99. It was was offer I couldn't pass up. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. And yes there are speaker wires going to your wireless speakers but I knew that going in.. this sound bar system is legit. Understand you don't get dolby atmos from everywhere buy when you do, WOW!!

It has great sound and is easy to set up. Take out of the box and put it where you want and your basically ready to go. I did have to wire the rear speakers which I didn't know that I was gonna have to do. It was a little more work but I still love the system! I am so glad I made this purchase for the price. I also price matched a few days later when it dropped price and got $200 back!!! So even better!!!

Works very well with our Samsung TV. My only gripe is that the menu doesn’t show up on the TV so you have to make adjustments using the tiny screen on the sound bar

Paired with a Samsung TV which actually had decent sound, but this improves exponentially. If you are willing to forgo the full receiver and classic speaker setup it’s a pretty good approach. Downside is that you have no method to get the sound perfect using a built in software solution that you find on higher end receivers. Still have lip sync issues when watching through satellite but streaming via Netflix the lip sync issue is rarely a problem. At this price point you might debate the sound bar vs the receiver speaker setup. Good luck!

Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q850T soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry for the sound synchronization issue.
If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
You can also try the below to minimize the delay:
1) Connect the source directly to the Soundbar’s HDMI input, then connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input on the TV.
2) On the TV, set the Sound Delay level to 0. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay: “0”
3) Change the audio format to PCM on both the source device and the TV.

We needed something for just our living room TV but didn't want to invest in an entire system of speakers and a receiver. I was very skeptical about the sound bar but thought I would give it a try. turns out, they are great and I am very happy with it. Geek Squad was also very nice to work with on the installation. I didn't have to lift a finger.

For $600! this is a killer

For that price this sound bar is awesome! I live in 2 bedroom apt and this gets the jobs done. Few good things is that it really has good low base which is nice for watching movies. Sound clarity is good too. I watched End game ( with Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos on) everything was very clear and had 3-d ( sound ) effect to it. its good buy!!

Good base, front bar is clear and side speakers give just enough of a surround feel. Just wish I could get my tv to stop turning on the speakers on their own.
