Sound is really good. Wish the rear speakers were louder. Barely hear them most of the time. Also wish it was able to convert DTS better. ATMOS seems to be really decent.

bought this after looking for 2 weeks on the web to see of it was worth it. WOW the sound is great, plays bluetooth from my iphone and has Dolby Atmos. Somewhat pricey but when I watched Atmos movies, again WOW

Sub is really good and the rear speakers are like you are part of the movie. I especially like that the sound bar shows lighted function and volume level up to 100. The sales guy Samsung expert Josh did an excellent job explaining everything to me.

We wanted more bass than our previous soundbar and the full surround sound has a great sound at low and high volume and from many angles in the room.

Sounds great can't believe it is a wireless system.I haven't been able to try the Atmos sound on this system yet but I can't wait . I am happy with this system even if it didn't have the Atmos ability.It is a great system if you have a wife like mine that can't stand the wires.The only negative is if you connect it to your network it seems to disconnect and reconnect frequently I have read where others have had this problem.Hopefully Samsung comes up with a fix for this. I simply disconnected it from my network since I had no real need to be connected.

Purchased this at my local Best Buy several months ago after some research I decided this sound bar would work for my living room size. The sub is by far the star of this set it provides a high amount of depth and volume. The satellite speakers are also incredible this is my first experience with surround sound and at times the satellites can be a little low volume and there’s nothing you can do to change those independently but watching something with Dolby atmos enabled is a game changer.

This product has a very good sound. Sometimes it does not connect seamlessly to the Samsung TV. Not sure if it is the TV or Soundbar issue.

The bar is pricey but well worth the extra money. Comparable to higher end surround sound system for the fraction of cost. ATMOS is outstanding.

I was looking for a sound system to compliment the 4k Samsung SUHD 55" tv that I also purchased from Best Buy. I was really blown away with this sound system. If you're thinking about upgrading your sound system I would definitely go for this one! The only issue I have is that there is no "blue" light that comes on when ATMOS sound is playing. The demo at the store had a blue light that turned on when ATMOS was playing and this was pointed out to me several times by the sales person. All in all great sound system that REALLY Rocks!!

This unit really likes Dolby Atmos, it sounds great with that type of audio. It also sounds very good in regular surround sound.

This sound bar kicks a**. It is crystal clear, amazing surround sound and Dolby Atmos. Subwoofer sounds amazing. Very happy with my purchase. The only concern is with the Wi-Fi connection. I had many problems connecting using my iPhone. I come to find out the problem is with the iPhone update, not with the sound bar. I found an old android phone and used it to connect the sound bar to the Wi-Fi network. It’s been perfect ever since.

in need of a solution to allow for more furniture in my apartment I began to investigate sound bars. Never been a big fan for one reason or another. Always have had at least a 5.1 traditional set up. With that in mind I began researching and decided on the Samsund 5.1.4 K950 and was blown away by how accurate the sound is and when I able to watch something mastered in Dolby Atmos it cannot be beat. Very impressed. I now am back to a happy household and have managed to drastically improve my surround sound.

Like in the movies, really. To really enjoy, you definitely must have a BD player and a TrueHD Blu-Ray disk. Atmos is hard to decode from stramed or mkv source. Great 5.1 surround from those, but it comes ALIVE when you feed it a BD Disk with TrueHD uncompressed soundtrack. Suggest: John Wick, Deadpool, Sully. Set your sources to Bitstream uncompressed, then any downsampling to Dolby. The bar will pick up Atmos and display on the front. Other Dolby, set the "Surround=ON" option. As good as the commercial theater. Yes!

Bought this one to replace an old Panasonic home theater system. The ease of setup is great for this. The remote looks small and cheap, but it is actually quite elegant in its simplicity. The sound with most content is very good, but the sound when playing something with Dolby Atmos is incredible. It almost makes you sad when you have to go back to listening to the non-Dolby content, like you are wasting the power of the sound bar. It also works well with non-Samsung TVs (I bought a Sony).

For the price o paid I'm satisfied. Too bad you can't get the amazing sound unless you use the right type of movie. Also little disappointed it echoes my magic sing when it is attached.

I waited before writing this review because I wanted to make certain I was accurate. First of all, the overall sound is fabulous. I try listen for the slightest sounds, especially in background music of shows, and the quality is clean and clear and it throws sound all over the room for a surround experience. Now, the issues I have are, the blue tooth disconnects from the bass and the rear speakers more frequently than it should, and can be a pain to get to reconnect. It has taken me no less than three attempts to get it to successfully connect, but that's not my biggest issue. I hate the fact that I cannot get it to play louder when watching TV or streaming movies through Chromecast. I have it turned up to the maximum level most of the time and if my dogs are playing around, I can't hear it, nor can my wife. It supposedly puts out several hundred watts, and yes, if it beeps because there's a connection, or some warning, it's loud as can be, but not from my TV. I have used both digital and HDMI, and through the HDMI it goes up to 100 at max levels, but on digital cable, it only goes to 50, but the actual volume output is the same. The rear surround speakers are another story. I've hoped that Samsung would send an update that would allow for greater volume from the rear speakers, as there is very little adjustment for sound adjustment. The lack of volume while watching a movie through TV is really the most disappointing. If I could get the volume, I would easily give this sound bar a five, but in actuality, the TV speakers are louder, they just lack quality in sound. The TV is a Samsung UHD 55" 8 series, so we're not talking a non-compatible TV. I will check yes in recommending because it's a generic question. It would depend on the needs of my friend(s) that would determine the recommendation. I just do not get how the beeps and bonks of the system is so loud, but not the sound of shows or movies from the TV, otherwise. If I could get the sound worked out, this thing would be awesome. If you have no pets, or kids, and in a quiet environment, this has outstanding sound, but for this price point, you can get a box surround sound that puts out more volume with descent sound.

This is an amazing sounding device. When playing a movie with a great soundtrack it turns your living room into a fantastic experience!! The bass will shake the room and the Atmos effects are all overhead..

Once connected to a atoms supported output, in my case a Xbox one s. Make sure to use ultra high speed cables preferably monster not rocketfish as they are not fast enough and cause hdcp 2.2 errors.....once plugged into the source everything can be watched in atmos and it's truly impressive and crystal clear, the bass is very impressive for such a small unit, also the rear speakers are larger than you think, photos don't happen to do them justice, over all supper impressive system

I'm very pleased with the Samsung - 5.1.4-Channel Soundbar System with Dolby Atmos and 8" Wireless Subwoofer with the easy step and sound for the price.

Only thing holding back 5 stars is lack of DTS support but when fed it it still sounds pretty good. Give it an Atmos soundtrack and get ready to have ur house shaking!!!.
