    I'm going to return it or replace it. The voice skips really bad.

    I use the optical connection but the HDMI doesn't work as well. Speech quality is not that great. Surround sound with rear speakers is good.

    Sounds good and the bass doesn't eat into the middle notes but the top notes are lacking. The voice and cymbals lack the sparkle. Honestly, with the sound set to below 40 when there isn't a lot of bass being pumped out, it sounded marginally better than my Samsung q6f's built-in speakers.

      Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices, and try the following tips that may help improve the volume level.

      1. Check the source volume. For example, if connected to a mobile phone using Bluetooth, increase the volume on the mobile phone.
      2. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
      3. Then check the TV for the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
      4. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar by using the Soundbar’s remote. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
      5. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.

    This sound bar is paired with a Samsung TV and performs very well. We are older and have some difficulty with discriminating voices from background noise in some shows. The sound bar is a substantial upgrade from our previous sound bar.

    This is replacing a Yamaha 2.1 system. Because of the size of the room, the voices tend to get lost in the volume. This is where a 3.1 or 5.1 system shines. The voice channel is separate and it make the dialog in shows much easier to hear for those of us with hearing issues.

    I had a Sony soundbar that was 3 years. Being sound impaired, I found the Samsung was now much better. I went to a Yamaha Receiver and speaker from the suggestion from a Best Buy Salesperson. It is working great.

    Large Sound- Great Bass- Voice Clarity ????

    I had my soundbar and subwoofer installed with my 50 inch Samsung TV. Easy to use with full 5.1 sound, settings for all of my needs with easy to make tweaks when necessary. I am a little disappointed with the voice clarity. I have used both the Optical connection and the ARC connection and still have to crank up the volume at times in order to clearly make out the voices. Not a deal breaker.

    We have high ceilings so that is probably the big problem for us with sound. We had to get a sound bar because it was hard to hear the voices in movies without turning the TV volume up very high. This sound bar helps a lot however, it does not give out the ranges that we expected. The base is so weak that we didn't think it was working at first but it does come out in other movies. We are not gamers but big movie watchers.
