This was a great solution to poor quality speakers on the TV that had great picture quality. Smaller than an entire surround sound system that has pretty good sound, links with and replaces the TV speakers on the same remote and can be used to play music from Bluetooth devices.

I purchased a new Samsung TV and needed a new sound bar to go with it. I already have a Samsung sound bar and have been happy with it, so decided stay consistent. I got this one on sale for $279. I’m by no means an audiophile, but I would say this is a great sound bar! Audio is clear, it gets loud and it rumbles! Which is what I like on movie nights, especially paired with my new 75” TV. I had read some other reviews about the bass not being adequate. Again, I’m not an audiophile, but I think the bass is good. I do have it on level 6 (Max), and depending on what source I’m using (TV, Netflix, HDMI), the volume has to be turned up quite a bit, but it’s not an issue imo. This sound bar also works seamlessly with my new Samsung TV, so I only have to use one remote to control TV and sound bar.

I was in the market for a soundbar, as most TV speakers do not produce good quality sound, so after much research, I decided on the Samsung 5.1 and i'm happy I did. The subwoofer combined with the soundbar itself produce a very crisp, clear sound quality. High recommended!

Up until this point I had always had a surround sound system. I was pleasantly surprised that this soundbar gives you the same experience as a traditional surround sound system with multiple speakers. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great soundbar.

Very good sound for music channels, DVD's and movies. You get good base sound from the sub woofer. The only negative part is you don't get the same sound for regular TV programming. Very simple set up, especially if you have a smart TV. All in all you can't beat the sound for the price!

Purchased my system the day before Super Bowl, unboxing, and setup was simple. The sound is excellent for watching movies, playing games, or listening to music. The subwoofer Is wireless and bass hits.

This soundbar far surpasses my current surrounding sound system of 7 speakers sporadically placed all over my livingroom. My wife is very happy that there are no longer wires and speakers everywhere. The sound is amazing too (which Is why i love it!!)

Every time it's raining on a show I'm watching I think it's raining outside!!! The surround sound for a simple sound bar and subwoofer pairs so well with my Samsung 65" QLED! It really brings all the sounds of any movie, show or music I'm playing, to life!!!

in one word- spectacular. Although i thought it was pricey but as i put it on with my new QLED TV looks like every thing become real and movie theater sound........just enjoying it. setup is so easy and the process is automatic. must have the HDMI 4K cable.

The setup was easy, the sound quality is good. The subwoofer produces a surprising amount of bass. I connected the sound bar to my television using the included optical cable. I connect my Apple TV, Fios Setup Box and Blu-ray player to to my television with HDMI cables.

Bought this with my 4k tv. Paired super easy with the samsung television I bought and the sound is phenomenal. Make sure you bundle this with a television to save! Totally worth it and the subwoofer never loses connectivity and has great bass!

Truly enjoying the Samsung bar... the surround sound is great... So far so go... I’m truly content with this investment!!! And I enjoy hearing clearly what’s being said on the TV!!! I got the subwoofer & sound bar would highly recommend!!!

The sound is awesome however there seems to be a lag in volume change when hooking it up to the rear surround kit. The rear surround stays at the same volume when i turn the volume down. Other than that, it is a massive improvement over standard tv speakers.

This soundbar is fantastic! Setup is amazingly simple, at least with my Samsung TV. It recognized it immediately and the level of sound is great. The sub paired without issues right away. Good solid bass & easy to use. Highly recommend!!

Although the speaker sounds good, I feel like it should be less expensive for the quality. One thing that is hard to get over for me is the lip sync error that will not go away with any of the lip sync settings. I’m getting more used to it, but why can’t it just work like it should? I’ve read many reviews and this is just something you’ll have to live with. This is not a replacement for a surround sound system as advertised, you won’t get that true surround sound experience with just the soundbar. Overall, I guess I’m happy enough with the purchase, but I will buy a surround sound system with my next purchase instead of a soundbar. I would say it’s a big step up from the TV speakers, but not worth $429 in my opinion.

This sounder easily syncs up with my Samsung TV. Their remotes are almost identical. I use my Samsung TV remote to control the sound bar most of the time. The sound quality and the bass from the subwoofer are great. I have no complaints so far.

I was never a person who thought sound equipment was necessary; that the difference wasn’t as substantial. Let me tell you, it is!!! This sound bar is phenomenal. And I love that the Samsung products are so compatible to one another.

bought this sound bar a month ago best decision I have ever made. I paired it to my 65" Q7fn and added the wireless rear speakers. Makes movie night way more immersive you feel like your in the movie. Has great bass. Love it

I am not going to get into the specs since it is already available in the specs tab. The packaging is somewhat mediocre and I would recommend purchasing in store instead of shipping. I tossed out the fiber cable and wired it up with HDMI. Set up was quick and easy, found the sub in a few seconds and I was off and flying. Trial run was with a few consoles, tossed in a movie and them jammed out to some tunes. The gaming was great, ran the Xbox, PlayStation, and PC and all were great. Samsung's directional technology works great and makes the surround pretty realistic. I am however a major audiophile-est and run a home system with Atmos, which makes it hard to be biased. I ran this in a smaller room and was very impressed with what I heard. During first shooters I was able to distinguish where shots and sounds were coming from, you won't get that from a TV. The movie sounded great and the speech was on par. The bass wasn't a house shaker but sounded clean and crisp. Bluetooth audio sounded good as well. You can change the sound parameters as well for music, movies, gaming etc. The size and look of the system is top notch. I like the look of the low profile soundbar, it also has a nice heft to it which is always a good sign. Cheaper products have a light and plastic feel to it, not here. As usual I prefer a power supply in the device instead of the wire, here you get the power supply on the cord for the sound bar but the sub woofer is built in. Would be fantastic for a smaller room or apartment! If you are looking for a full blown surround sound system then stay away, you won't be disappointed for a smaller set up or a first timer into the surround market.

Originally bought the 3.1 soundbar, but this totally blows it out of the water. I'm hearing sounds I never heard before (even on regular tv shows). Easy setup. I highly recommend it. Told my buddy and he bought the same one.
