It pair with my new 75 inch tv and it turns on and off with my tv and I can use the same tv remote to turn up the volume ....

I couldn't be happier. The bass is huge and the sound is great when we're watching a movie or something like that, but easily turned down (or off) for when the rest of the house is sleeping. It's a great sounding system.

Not a substitute for a component sound system.

It is a upgrade from the tv speakers only. You will be disappointed if you expect otherwise. That said it is a big improvement over the tv speakers and is compact and easy to set up.

Vast Improvement over a 2.1 system

Because of the size of the room, the voices tend to get lost in the volume. This is where a 3.1 or 5.1 system shines. The voice channel is separate and it make the dialog in shows much easier to hear for those of us with hearing issues.

The BASE in this unit rattles your innards during the movies and is a wonderful feature to add to just getting a movie or movie rental !!

The angled sides of the sound bar bounce sound around my family room so well, if there is a dripping sound on the show, I end up looking around the room to see all the corners the sound seems to be coming from! It is a 3D sound experience worthy of my new QLED TV!
