Dramatic improvement over built in speakers

I wanted a reasonably priced soundbar that would integrate well with my tv. Picked up this soundbar on an early Black Friday deal and have been very impressed. Truly plug and play with my Samasung QLED TV. Power cord and HDMI ARC cable and that was it. Sound quality is excellent. Dramatic improvement from the built in speakers. I also like the styling and only 2” high, so fits well under the TV. Highly recommend this product.

Cuts in and out!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.CUTS IN AND OUT! The sound quality is good... when it’s not cutting in and out. Weather I’m watching live tv or streaming, it cuts in and out. I thought maybe it was just the wifi being weird while streaming but when I disconnect the speakers and use the regular tv speaker it stops. It’s very annoying and sometimes it’s so bad I can’t even hear the dialogue and miss a whole sentence. Wish I knew before I dropped the money on this trash.

Mine was defective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this system because of the excellent price for Black Friday, at first it worked great for a week then I noticed at about 30 volume or more one of the right speakers inside the bar was blown out already. I assume I just got a bad unit and actually really enjoyed the unit but I decided to return it and get a Sonos Beam instead and was happy with that decision, I wasn't willing to risk getting another bad unit.

Good for small rooms

Got the rear spaeker kit for this model and they never worked even after sending them to Samsung twice. I ended up getting a Sony soundbar with Atmos and the rear speakers and they work awesome. Samsung customer service was horrible and refused to help me. Moved this soundbar to the bedroom because I couldn't return it. It works well in the small room.

Okay soundbar but not for the money spent.

I was told this is the best soundbar that they had for the money so i took the bite and i somewhat regret it. I heard other soundbars while i was there and they sounded as good if not better for half the money spent. Bass is not what you expect so if you are looking for serious bass then look elsewhere.

Disappointed Sound

Underwhelming

Everything except ease of connection failed to meet expectations. Most disappoint was the weak subwoofer. It actually had an annoying sound. My $120 vizio 2.1 in master bedroom blows away the MS650. The Vizio is more dynamic, dimensional and the bass is full and powerfull. So disappointing because it took a lot of work to mount it under the TV (if youre planning on wall or TV mounting you need to check the power plug design as well as the mounting being on bottom of bar). Now I have to uninstall it and return to BB.

Don't waste your money!!

I picked it up on 2/13/19 and I am now returning it today. 2/18/19. For the amount of money I spent on it, I was hoping to be blown away like I was in the store but it was a HUGE disappointment. The sound was actually no better than what my TV gave off. The bass from the subwoofer, wait, there was bass from a subwoofer?? Sure, it looks pretty but I'm not getting it for looks. If I actually seen this product at a garage sale, I would keep on walking and just buy grandma's old recliner that she drooled on. Trying to get a hold of someone at Samsung support, is like trying to get blood from a stone. This is a garbage product and they should be ashamed of putting it out there, nonetheless putting such a huge price tag on it!!!

Surprisingly disappointing

With under three years of limited use the unit stopped working when I changed the TV channel. I tried multiple methods to get the unit working again including hooking up to another Samsung smart TV. I've had ZERO response to my disappointment of the unit both (Samsung and B.B.) I have always been satisfied with Samsung products (wide screen TV's and cell phones) I replaced the unit with a lower cost competitor and I am happier with it than I ever was with the Samsung. We recently had to replace our aging washer and dryer, guess what I did NOT buy.

I got a bad one!

I had to send it back 2 time in the first year and it still does not work properly. Customer service was not very good. After the experience I have had with this sound bar I'm not sure I will buy a Samsung product again.

3 months then it starts

After 3 months it has started having choppy sound (fragmented sound) AND will occasionally play on both the TV and sound bar at the same time creating an echo effect that is horrible. AND IT GETS BETTER. Samsung customer service is the worst to deal with. Online chat was pointless and the call center was horrible. Issue not resolved as of yet.
