Excellent sound and great for any living room. It will do you good if you can afford it.

I used to have a custom home with a built-in surround sound. Watching movies was AMAZING! When I sold that house I missed the great sound and thought I would need another custom installed system to get that again. Not so! This sound is deep and rich. The woofer gives you that "movie theater" feeling in your chest when there are explosions and other loud sounds. Set up was fairly easy. I did have to use some of the styrofoam from the package to raise my TV up behind the soundbar. I put the (wireless) woofer on the floor. Be sure you have outlets as both items do need power. You can connect the soundbar by HDMI (as I chose) or I do believe there is a wireless io connect but I opted for the included HDMI cable. I am an "over-50" woman and had no trouble setting these up (I did have to go into the settings on the TV and make one adjustment to the output). This soundbar and woofer is a great way to add movie-style sound to your home theatre experience. And since we are all staying home to watch movies these days, why not indulge?

I Like the design and shape of the sound bar and sub-woofer. Unit comes with all required things except digital optical audio cable. It comes with HDMI cable, Power input plugs for both woofer and bar and wall mount plates. Let me jump straight way jump into review and quality which are more important. I liked the sound quality and output of bar, but not happy with woofer beats, at one point i had a doubt that is sub woofer working or not. for me ID SET between woofer and bar did not happen automatically, i had to do manually. I tried all the sound modes, i think surround sound is good compared to others, other modes also good just saying, I liked the sound quality. Big Minus items which made me to give 2 STARS. 1) Remote volume button malfunction - I can increase the volume with remote, If i press volume button it is muting the bar, I tried number of times to check, i ended up operating directly on the bar. 2) HDMI Audio connection to TV, did not work, I checked and spend minimum 15 mins, I did the right connections but still some how it was not working for me. I ended up using optical cable and which works good. But no digital optical cable provided with the sound bar. Make sure you verify above two things after you purchase or before purchase.Remote is critical thing for sure. I will recommend this product only if remote works properly otherwise i will not recommend. Sound quality wise i am OK with it. Please see the attached videos you will know better.

I was in desperate need of a soundbar as I was relying on my TV speakers after moving into my dorm, so I was searching around for good deals. I stumbled across this soundbar discounted by $350 because it had a slight dent and scratch on the back middle that's barely even noticeable. The bass is incredible on the subwoofer, and the sound quality is phenomenal (5.1 channels makes a difference). It's pretty easy to change inputs and use bluetooth with my phone if I want to play something else, so this soundbar is a bargain when its open-box.

Wow this is worth the money. The sound is crisp and loud. The bass is great I seriously can't complain, I had to return Bose sound bar since it wasn't loud enough and glad I tried this one. Think I'll probably see about adding speakers so I can make it theater loud. The sub it came with is rather big tho, other then that GREAT

I'm in no way an audiophile, so I'm certain there will be people that find this system garbage. For me, it does not get better than this, between sound and ease of setup, the Samsung HW-Q60T is among the best on the sub-$500 category. Music pops, movies sound way better than with the stock TV speakers, and you do hear the 5.1 system working behind you. The base does its job, and it can be dialed down or up with the remote. Very satisfied with the purchase. If you are looking for a 5.1 soundbar system that won't break the bank, get this.

This is a very good system, I love the sound! Adds so much depth to movies, sports games, etc. Easy set-up and it's nice to have the display on the front of the sound bar so you can see it when using the remote. This is pricier than the 2.1 system but I believe it is well worth it! Before buying, however, a couple of caveats: 1) there are some shows where the dialogue is a bit hard to hear. I'd say this happens about a third of the time. So basically you need to shut off the system and use the regular TV audio to better hear it. But when you can hear it well through the sound bar, it sounds awesome! 2) because I hide the tv wires inside a casing attached to the wall under my tv, it is hard to install the sound bar under the tv, as it wants to be flush against the wall but th casing sticks out about an inch. Would be nice if there was a notch in the middle of the sound bar to allow the casing to go behind it. This causes the sound bar to stick out and sag a bit. 3) the sound from Surround Sound mode is good, but I don't feel "surrounded" by it. I guess the good news is that this system is adaptable and you can add rear speakers to the system in the future to get that true surround sound. Despite these flaws I am still very happy with this purchase (my wife not so much :) ). It makes watching TV so much more enjoyable and immersive!

This has been a huge upgrade to my setup. The bass on this is IMPRESSIVE. Testing with some action movies and it’s unreal. Feels like I’m in the movie theatre. The DTS setting for sound truly provides a great listening experience. Setup was super easy with almost no hassle. I’m using it with an older tv so it was all plug and play with digital audio connection. Bought two of them. One for me and one for my dad for Xmas. Would recommend!

Easy to set up and hook up to a Samsung tv. Sounds good Intermittently does not turn on when the tv turns on or sometimes takes a few extra seconds to engage in the hdmi connection. When changing channels I’ve noticed that every once in a while the sound will be muted, however once the channel changes the sound comes back. It does sound good

I recently purchased this soundbar for use with our TV at home. The TV is an old Sharp branded TV, which we purchased in late 2010. From multiple moves and having trigger happy, button pushing kiddos, the TV's speakers were about to crap out. We debated a new TV but knew we'd be moving in a year or two and still had kids who don't understand the concept of not destroying speakers. We went with this sound bar and could not be happier. The 5:1 ratio provides excellent treble so voices are easily heard. The subwoofer is wireless and we placed it about 20 feet from the TV. It provides deep, rich bass that can be fine tuned to your needs with an easy switch on the remote. Setup was easy and ising the system as a whole is also easy. The sound bar connects to your TV via HDMI (but your TV needs a HDMI ARC port, not just any HDMI port as we found out with our old TV) or a optical audio cable. It is simple plug and play and viola, you are good to go. I highly recommend this soundbar and would purchase another one if I needed another.

1. The packaging is efficient, with well-protected compartments for the large components all in a single piece. 2. The setup was a piece of cake. Just follow the instructions, and you should be fine. 3. Connecting to the soundbar is no more difficult than connecting to any other Bluetooth device. Tip: the display is on the right-hand side and lights up when in operation only. 4. Sound quality is great! Being able to choose from multiple sound modes is a winner as different inputs have different audio profiles. I'm not an audiophile, but to my ears, the highs and lows are preserved with little to no sacrifice of the mid-range. The surround sound really comes through: I'd say you get about 130-degrees of effect w/o satellite speakers. 5. If you're not familiar with the remote layout, the toggles are really toggle-buttons (you can toggle up/down as well as press the switch). The circular navigation areas make it easy to get to the settings quickly. After a few uses, it'll feel natural.

This sound bar was excatly what I was looking for a home theater. The woofer sometimes disconnects itself sometimes but a reboot usually fixes it. Overall it works well and i enjoy the bass.

I've been using this sound bar for a few days. I've tested it on video games, movies and sports as well. Definitely the best sound vs my previous speakers. I had a few before. 7 speakers sound bar is perfect for video games. 51 / 5000 Translation results. The sound goes perfectly through all the speakers. It's very intelligent - the number of working speakers is selected according to the sound. Many choices included, for example bass booster, game, movie, etc. You do not need to adjust the sound by yourself. Subwoofer has amazing deep bass, perfect for games and movies. Very Cool remote control. The sound bar is turned on automatically with the tv. Very easy to connect with many choices, including hdmi and bluetooth. Sound bar and subwoofer are not connected each other by wire, this is very nice. Definitely recommend this product for all customers. No matter what kind of users you are, will be definitely satisfied.

I never had a sound bar or subwoofer! I cannot believe what a big difference it makes! I cannot believe I've been without it! It is great! Like being in a theatre! So happy we bought it, still going strong!!

This is a great sound bar. The quality isnt what you get with a really high dollar sound bar. But it's great for the ones in this price range. Nice bass and great upper range too.

It sounds way better than I expected. I only purchased it a as a deal with a television. However the sound quality sad to say sounds better than my Bose that I paid triple the price. It was fairly easy to setup, 1 cord connects to the television and the subwoofer to the wall outlet. The ability to adjust the volume from smartthings on my Samsung device made it worth while. I can adjust the bass, treble and so forth with easy and the remote is not complicated like my other sound systems. When I turn on the television and the system it automatically connects . Great purchase

I have had large speaker suround systems of the 90's and have since just had big sreens right out of the box. This time upgrading from a 65" to 85" i was a little disapointed in the lack of speaker quality. I actually tried propping books up behind the bottom mounted speaker to divert the sound forward but it just wasnt quite what i was looking for in a really big TV. So back to Best Buy i went. Its important to know that in all my experience i was dumbfounded on so many brands ans options to choose from so i enlisted a sales person to quickly educate me on the differnces. Best thing i ever did. The Q60T 5.1 channel is truely a suround sound experience!
