Excellent Sounds, Simple to Set-Up

After reading the reviews and product specs, I selected this Sound Bar system to connect to my Samsung HD 60" TV. For the price, this has proven to be an excellent choice. The product was available for quick pick-up and the packaging and instructions made set-up simple and fast.
The only problem I encountered was self-induced. I didn't plug the Sound Bar's HDMI connector into the correct HDMI port on the TV. There is a specific port designated (and this is emphasized in the set-up instructions). Once I did this, the Sound Bar connected as designed, including the separate bass speaker (which auto-discovers and connects via Bluetooth). My Cable TV remote worked automatically (to adjust sound volume). Also, an upside surprise was that my separate Blu-Ray player (also connected to my TV via HDMI) works with this Sound Bar automatically too (no additional configuration needed).
The end result is much richer sound that fills our small living room nicely (replacing the flat, narrow sound from the TV's internal speaker). The components (sound bar itself and the separate bass speaker) are attractive and small enough to remain unobtrusive. To be clear, as other reviewers point out, this is an entry-level Sound Bar, but a good one for the price and it comes with very low hassle.

Very surprised with the sound quality for the price. After dialing it in 1-2 hours, it sounds like I’m at a movie theater. I have the subwoofer at -6, bass at -4, and treble at +2. It sounds super clean. Bass hits really low watching movies. The avengers was a great movie to configure the sound bar with. All modes sound muffled except dts virtual x. Also, with the bass set at 0, too much bass comes out of the sound bar. Taking off the bass from there, and letting the subwoofer handle the lows really improves the sound clarity.

Okay, got this open-box for $270. At that price this surpasses my expectations and is well worth it. At full price, $550, you will be very underwhelmed.
There is a big difference in performance depending on the signal coming in (Stereo, 5.1, Dolby, etc...). Now, you can be a tech wizard and understand you have the right soundbar with the right TV, but some sources (like built in tv apps) don’t always got that good sound output. During those times you’ll feel underwhelmed, however, when you do have that good audio coming through it does sound pretty dang good.
Lastly, missing Dolby Atmos. Need the Q70T for that.

I’m an audio engineer. I’ve been mixing music everyday on professional studio equipment for the last 20 years. After a bad experience with a previous soundbar, I decided to buy the top 4 sellers under $500 and compare them all. I bought the VIZIO V-Series 2.1, the LG 2.1 300W, the Sony 2.1 320W, and the Samsung HW-Q60T 5.1. I’m not interested in features, only sound quality.
What all these units lack is proper stereo width. If your TV is any bigger than a 50”, the extreme left and extreme right sounds will not match your screen’s dimension. We have a 70” and the soundbars only deliver about a 30-50% stereo field, as if things aren’t panned properly all the way. The built-in speakers on our TV have a greater stereo width, but lack in the frequency spectrum, especially the low end.
The Vizio V-Series 2.1 sounded terrible. Boxy and muffled. It’s louder than your average TV’s built-in sound, but not better.
The LG 2.1 300W is about as good as your average TV’s built-in sound, but with more bass/bottom end.
The Sony 2.1 320W is a slight improvement on your average TV’s built-in sound, and with a more defined low-end.
The Samsung HW-Q60T 5.1 is a noticeable improvement over the other units. It’s crisp and clear, and the bass is well-defined. It has multiple audio modes to compensate for the lack of stereo width, all of which are terrible and add a fake surround effect, but in “standard” or “adaptive” mode it does a nice job of delivering clean and balanced audio.
None of these soundbars will replace a proper surround system where the individual speakers can be placed properly around the room, but they can still be a great improvement over the built-in TV speakers.

Cheap and works great for the space I'm using.
The sound has been better than the basic tv stereo and the subwoofer is bassy enough to fill the room I'm in.

IMO, it’s very good. The sound is crisp, but not as loud as it could be. I really have to crank it up to past 25 marker for a immersive sound. The bass is good. It’s a plastic box and not wood. So bass sound resonates differently. Previous system was an LG, and bass on that one was much better, with a wood bass box. The 5.1 works nicely, and it’s uncanny how these bars work these days; it’s a nice crisp sound..almost too clear, too digital. Play with the settings to get the sound you want. For under $300, this is really a Best Buy.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of this soundbar. The ease of the install was a no brainier, but I did read the instructions.
The sound quality along with different sound mode features and compatible with bluetooth, HDMI, HDMI (arc) or Digital Optical connectivity to your TV is definitely a plus. I suggest that you consider this moderately priced soundbar with great sound quality for your home TV that may be 3-4 years older than 2021.

For the money, this is a great soundbar. Bought the surround speakers for 5.1 - you have to manually adjust the volume to hear them but once you do and adjust the settings the product is a lot more than i expected! easy to set up, cleans up the wires I had going everywhere and it was a great deal.
Pros
- high value
- ease of use
- better sound than expected
cons -
- not the most amazing speakers to blow away an audiophile but for the money you probably can't beat it!

I had to get this because my wife was upset with my cables for my real surround theater sound. Although it promises real 3d and Atmos sound, it delivers a decent clear sound with a great base. It is tricky to pair the base, but once you do, it’s a good option.
There is not much difference between the sound options (game, optical, 3d), but it is better than the television sound. I bought an open box and the price is still a little high.
My main concern is that it only has one HDMI dedicated and one ARC input so you have to decide which are you going to pair. I selected m roku and connected my 4K player to tv.
There is an option to buy 2 wireless surround speakers for around 140 dlls, but I’m still thinking about it.
So, if you can, buy it but Don’t expect much
This is great for a living room and one device.
I mean, don’t buy a cheaper one without the Samsung quality I enjoy and expect. Wouldn’t buy any other brand.

I really like the sound bar subwoofer and speakers. It was extremely easy to set up. It also has good sound obviously not the best but you get what you pay for. I was only looking to allow myself to be able to hear the TV from further away. We use this in our bedroom this sound system we have downstairs is much more expensive.

Setup is quick and easy, no issues with Bluetooth auto connect to the sub woofer. This system really brings the audio to life especially for action movies. Only giving 4 stars due to price, a bit on the expensive side when the new TV's audio is poor and low volume, they really make the external sound bar systems necessary. Simply wasn't planning the additional expense when we purchased a new TV. This system works perfectly and sounds great.

Good system. Set up is easy. Good sound. Decent bass. Not a high end system but does the job for the price.
Supports both HDMI and optical connections And Bluetooth. Using for my TV sound and cd player. Only issue is sometimes the sound bar disconnects the source input randomly on the TV so have to switch it back.

Bought this along with a Samsung TV. Black Friday sale, got the 5.1 for the price of a 3.1. O was afraid it world be too loud but the sound is fantastic even at low volumes. The subwoofer adds so much depth to the sound. With covid, I knew going to the movies is a long way off and between the sound and the TV i have my own little theater!! Only downside is sometimes the sound and mouth movements don't wire match up.

After having this set up for a few months I will say that the center channel is top notch. Can hear dialog easily at all volumes. The subwoofer is pretty tame. Have to turn it up a few notches to get the thump you want for action movies. The sound clarity is crisp and the set up was amazingly simple. I would buy again for smaller rooms but not for a theater room. Very good purchase!
