I’m enjoying my new Samsung tv, smart washer and dryer.

Purchased the washer less than one year ago and it is already broken. I reached out to Best Buy to schedule a repair, but was given the run around directing me to call Samsung. I finally got through to Samsung Support who scheduled repair through a subcontractor who never called, and didn't show up. Don't buy Samsung and don't buy it from Best Buy.

It was a nightmare experience during the installation. The guy who came to install it, did not install it properly and there was a water leakage in the washer room and then water came down into 1st floor ceiling. No body is there to help and best buy is just able to create a ticket for geek squad to take care. The whole process with geek squad is not straight forward. We struggled a lot to fix the issues temporarily with huge expenses and man power. I can't even explain it, we just moved to that new home 2 days ago got all works done and ready to start new life and this particular best buy installation messed up and pushed us 3 months behind.

Purchased less than a year ago and stopped working. The machine will turn on but that’s about it, all the other buttons will not work, the washer will not start any cycle. Thank God I purchased Best Buy’s warranty and they are going to replace my washer, otherwise I would be stuck with a broken appliance that lasted only 10 months, my old Whirlpool lasted for over 10 years.

I purchased this washer about 6 weeks ago to go in my new home that I closed on at the same time. I received a Ub notice (redistribute clothing weight) and when I went to check what was wrong, a large portion of the floor and floors of adjoining rooms were covered with water from the washer. My floors and baseboards have been ripped out by the water mitigation team and insurance is still estimating damage. I did find out from colleagues that Samsung has a history of leaking washers and there are plenty of news articles and reviews about faulty washers. Bottom line, this washer from Samsung has been a major disappointment (majority of my electronics are Samsung) and huge inconvenience. I will be exchanging this washer and dryer for a different brand.

I have had this washer 6 weeks, and my home just as long, and during a Ub code (redistribute weight) the washer flooded my finished basement. I’ve had to file an insurance claim because my floors and baseboards all had to be ripped out by a water mitigation team and will need to be redone. Best Buy will be coming by to troubleshoot the washer soon, but I will be asking them to take this back for another brand due to being informed by colleagues that Samsung washers are known for leaking problems and finding several articles on the issue. This has really inconvenienced me.

Pros: Does an excellent job at cleaning, clear display, fairly quiet, and easy-to-set choices. Cons: 1) No memory, so if you always want cold water selection or any other alternate defaults, you must select it every time. Older models from Samsung remembered your defaults. 2) Dislike you have to press the start button for 3 seconds. I prefer instant operation. 3) No rodent shield (although I suspect no manufacturer includes one). Oddly, it has slots in the bottom for a panel to seal the washer but no option to even buy one. Had to fabricate one myself as my last washer was destroyed by a small rodent.

Much more space than my last washer. Has a high spin speed which allows for faster drying and its quiet. Easy to use. Cycles do take a little longer than they used to but seems like every machine is that way now.

Totally LOVE this washer!!!!! It’s quiet. You can see what’s happening in the barrel while you wash. I receive text messages when it’s done & it plays a gentle, pleasing notification tune that you can hear if you’re near the washer. I love being able to pre-rinse items in the machine with the nifty little faucet. It holds a lot of clothes too. At around 5 feet tall, I have no trouble retrieving clothes because the barrel can be rotated for ease of access to clothes. The instruction manual is super helpful to select the best settings. I LOVE having the option of a quick wash, although I don’t use it often. But most importantly, it cleans clothes VERY well!!! The color & style are so lovely just to look at. (I know it’s strange to say about a washer, but the whole family was impressed and just couldn’t stop staring!!!) Oh! After 25 cycles, I received a notification to run the washer self-cleaning cycle. TOTALLY LOVE that I’m notified of and can sanitize my clothes washer so easily with reminders!!! With all that said, and knowing that I’m crazy about this washer, there are 2 things that could be better. First, the soap dispenser is positioned in such a way that it’s easy to spill liquid soap all over and make a mess. So, what I do is use a funnel to direct the soap neatly into the dispenser, then rinse off the funnel in the washer barrel using the washer barrel’s faucet. The second thing that was nightmarishly lackluster, and has nothing to do with the washing machine itself, was Best Buy’s contract delivery service not delivering on the day we had scheduled. We wasted a whole day waiting for it, lost a day of work not receiving it, making oodles of calls trying to figure out what happened, getting multiple contradictory explanations - we still don’t know why we did not receive the washer on the day it was originally supposed to have been delivered. From initial ordering by phone with a Best Buy agent to receiving the washer, it took over 2 weeks, when originally it was scheduled to be delivered in less than 1 week. So, if you order this from Best Buy, it would help to have realistic expectations about appliance delivery dates with their contract company. Once it was delivered the deliverers were excellent! They installed and removed the old appliances very quickly and expertly. They did not provide any verbal instructions, but everything ran perfectly, and the Samsung manuals were detailed and very informative. So, all in all, this Samsung washer is THE BOMB!!! So, in love with it!!! It was totally worth the wait!!! 100% recommend buying it!!!

I would give this washing machine 5 stars, however there was an issue during installation have to do with the drain hose located on the back of the machine. The hose is located close to the floor and was not long enough to reach the the house. This issue was not mentioned during my purchase and no hose extension was offered or recommend. This cause me, along with the installers, to try cutting different hoses and fitting them on the attached hose to reach the drain. After 45 minutes they were finally able to patch a workable solution, but this should never have been an issue. We do like the machine, it works well, has a very lager capacity and many interesting features. I would recommend this unit.

I absolutely love everything about this washer! Although it was still working, I needed to ditch our 30+ year old washer as it just didn't suit my family anymore; the tub was too small to adequately handle larger loads, and the agitator was shredding delicate, expensive items (ex. my kids' North Face coats.) I already had the matching dryer to this as I needed to replace my dryer earlier on in the year, which had also made this purchase a no-brainer. It has an enormous 5.2 Cu. Ft. capacity. I'm still in awe at how deep and wide the tub is! Additionally, there are so many different settings, which is great because you're really able to customize the wash cycle for each load. I can finally wash everything in my household without worrying about if it's going to fit, get ruined, or get a thorough wash. I honestly feel that in the long-run this washer will save me so much money as it's high-efficiency, not damaging the items that I'm washing, and fits items (like large comforters) that I previously had to take to the laundromat.

Good purchase they worked some kinks out. I had to replace my other after 4 years control board shot from the steaming hot moisture. This one seems to have fixed some kinks the barrel sits higher so I'm able to easily reach the bottom, the old one was hard I had to use a grabber to chase arround items in the bottom. The functions on the top are nice its good.

This washer is great. Fits large comforters for our California King with space to spare and is so quiet you don't hear a thing. You forget it's even on. I have a Samsung phone and TV and you can control the washer through the phone and the cycle alerts display on the TV once complete. Great washer for the money!

After being forced to quickly choose a new washer I am happy I came across this. It has great capacity and the clothes always come out clean! I love that it can send me alerts to know when it is done and even when it needs cleaning.

This is a great upgrade to our previous washer from ‘09. Very big capacity allows me to wash less frequently. Clothes seem cleaner than my previous washer. It’s fairly quiet. Spin cycle does not shake my floor. I’ve had this for about 3 weeks. So far so good. Very happy with my purchase.

This unit is awesome. Def more than I expected. There are some many settings. Easy to use. Very large for comforters. Quite. I would recommend this unit if anyone is looking to purchase. I feel like my old one was from the Stone Age and I have been missing out!!!!

I love it so far. It’s quiet and washes well. Has the option of connecting to the phon, but I don’t see real benefit in that for me. I like that it alarms you when the laundry is ready.it’s quite big and easily fits bedding
