It's even hooked up to the phone and notifies me when the load is done. I think the only downside it does take a moment to begin to wash and/or adds water. I think the first time I've tried. I turned it off and on several times and almost called Best Buy, but I waited. Only because the guys installed had it working. Sure enough it works just fine.
