Very disappointed, leaves film

We've only had this washer for a little over a year and the last few months it's been leaving this film crud (I'm guessing old soap) all over the clothes. I don't see where it's coming from. I'm constantly running the self clean cycle as well as cleaning it by hand and removing the soap dispenser. However, self cleaning is not helping. I'm having to rewash clothes constantly.
Also, the soap dispenser location at the back is not a good position. It's very hard to pour soap from a bottle back there.
Very disappointed with this brand new machine. If I could leave a negative review, I would.

Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased this Washer and Dryer after shopping for 6 months and I decided to purchase it from Best Buy. It was delivered to me they hooked it up told me to run my Washer 3 times/Dryer once and left. Did not show me how to operate anything. I received a styrofoam container which is pictured that goes with my dryer I still don’t know what it is for? I spent 4 hours on the phone same day rescheduling another appointment to Best Buy to come back out and reverse the door on my Dryer. As you can see I have to squeeze between the small space to open the door to put clothes in and out. Is that not their job before they leave to make sure that the door opens properly and the customer understands the product? Also, I spent hours trying to connect my washer/dryer to my phone app realizing this is something that was suppose to be done before the first run. Which the delivery/qeek squad is suppose to do while they are here right or am I to figure that out on my own to? I was their first appointment of the day so they were in and out and that includes taking a dryer out less than 20 minutes. I called them back about an 1 hour later to see if they could come back they were to far. They said I have to reschedule an appointment spent 4 hours on the phone my next appointment is 2 weeks. That was my first day I purchased the extended warranty with them is this their service I can expect? I realize we are in the middle of a pandemic, however poor customer service should not be an excuse for WorldWide conditions. I gave a 3 because of the poor service I received upon delivery not because of the product. I still have not had it long enough to really make a review for the product overall. They left the manifest and they did not complete items in 2&5(prepare&present). Sad part about this I may have to experience their poor customer service again. This really does deter me from wanting to purchase large items from Best Buy ever again.

This washing machine has by far been every bit of worth the money and then some. I could not be happier with the machine. I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews and people were finding it difficult to be short and manage reaching into the bottom. WELL , I am only 5' 3" and of course I am too short to reach into the barrel without a step stool YET I KNEW what I was purchasing! A HUGE washing machine that can handle huge loads and I appreciate it so much! And NO I have never fallen in lol thats a bit much! And YES I did hit my head on the sink ONE time when I first used the step stool to get the last couple of socks out of the bottom, however I learned how to NOT do it again lol. I have always hated doing laundry and this machine is amazing... the picky reviews are ridiculous.... If you have done your research and you know what all you want in a washer then you know what you are bringing home. Literally my favorite toy in the house now! I 100% recommend! Not to mention the cleanliness of this machine showed me sooo quickly how disgusting my old machine was leaving my clothes. Great product period!!

I am the mother of a 3yo that is potty training. Our 15 yo whirlpool washing machine bit the dust so we needed a new one. Boy, things have really changed! We needed a larger capacity machine and pre-soak options for soiled training pants. This machine is life-changing! I wash 3-4 times a week because it's so fun now.
It has pre-sets installed, uses less water, quiet and is easy to use.
The ONLY con is I sometimes have to step on my tippy toes to get the babies socks because the basin is so deep. I'm 5'4 so keep that in mind if you're shorter than me.

I did some research before going into Best Buy & had my mind set on either the Whirlpool or Samsung washer/dryer sets. And truly I was leaning toward the Whirlpool but I changed my mind rather quickly after going into the store. The Whirlpool products did not seem to be as heavy & as sturdy as the Samsung units. Plus the Samsung had a much more appealing look as well for a pretty similar price.
Of course, I have not been disappointed with my decision either! I love these machines. They are quiet & they do a great job (and I have a husband who has a side business welding & a son who plays baseball so they get their clothes filthy.) I also love the steam option and the nice little tune it plays when the clothes are done. Again, I'm very happy with my selection & would highly recommend these to anyone!

Love all the features of this washer. definitely a major upgrade from my previous washer. Simple to operate. Also very quiet. I'm not to crazy about the built in sink feature, cause I bumped my head a few times on it, but I got used to it being there and doesn't happen anymore. Very satisfied.

Love this washer and all the features it comes with. It’s quiet, efficient, has a large capacity, and looks great too. It is a little tall so if you’re on the short side might need to get a step stool. My wife is 5’ 4” and it’s borderline too tall for her to reach to the bottom of the drum

Samsung Repair guy told me to buy a Kenmore

When the Samsung repair guy tells you to buy a Kenmore... I intentionally bought a high capacity washer to clean bedspreads, dog blankets, bath mats, and other bulky items that won’t fit in the agitator top-loader I had. From the very first wash, I was tremendously disappointed—actually, totally disgusted—by what this machine did to my laundry. Large items like bedspreads don’t even get fully wet; after a full cycle, huge sections of my queen-sized comforter are completely dry, and obviously still dirty. Towels used to wipe the dogs’ paws come out with large chunks of dirt and hair throughout, and leave behind equally large chunks in the drum. If I don’t wipe it after every use, the next load of laundry comes out dirtier than when it went in. I find myself running a medium-sized load of clothing through Heavy Duty three times to get it to resemble clean…so much for energy and water efficiency. Two different repair guys came out in the first three months and told me there is nothing wrong with the washer. The second guy told me that I should take soiled and bulky items to the laundromat every week—really? Why did I buy a washer if I need to go to the laundromat? Oh, and the activewash sink used for pre-treating or hand-washing items might fit a pair of socks, or underwear, but you can forget about anything larger—it’s too shallow to keep the item and the water in the sink. And like others have said, wear a helmet if you’re reaching in to the drum, or you’ll get a concussion from the sink. Finally, Samsung service is incomparably bad. It took over 30 calls for me to get the two repair guys out to me.

After living with a 20+ year old washing machine, this new one was a blessing and it is amazingly huge! It fits our king sized bed spread in with room to spare and it cleans everything amazingly well with no issues. There are a ton of settings that are customizable and I love that it can be run via our smart phones. The soaking pan is a great feature as well and has come in handy quite often for us so far (about 2 months). It is so quiet and efficient. Only drawback I could see for someone who is under 5'7", you may have a difficult time reaching the bottom of the tub. I am 5'7" and I have to stand on my tippy toes to reach things that have stuck to the side of the tub after the spin cycle sometimes. Not a deal breaker for myself, but be forewarned!

I have a preference for Samsung products to begin with, I have never had many problems with them and if I ever had, they have been dealt with it in an easy, fast, and complete manner. My experience with other manufacturers have been headaches more-so than not. So far, this washer has been very good to me, I like how many options it has, like the steam sanitize option and the active wash. I like being able to spot clean cloths right inside the top bowl and then drop them right into the wash. The only downside of this washer is that the washer tube is so big and I am kind of short (5' 2"), it can be difficult to reach the smaller items from the bottom of the tube after washing. I found using a step stool helps. It probably looks quite comical to see me over half inside the washer trying to get the clothes out. But on the flip side, it can handle my large winter blankets! No more laundry mat visits to wash them because they didn't fit in my old washer... I have only had this washer a couple months, so if in the near future i encounter issues with it i will definitely update this post.

Does a very large load, is whisper quiet, better at cleaning clothes than my previous washer. Didn't like the price but it does good work. My old simple washer lasted 20 years. Let's see how long this technology wonder lasts.

Runs very quietly. Very easy to understand options & functions. Large capacity drum, however, makes it a little hard at times for short people to reach everything inside. Take that inconsideration if your short and have no help.

This mchine is nice and very very quiet. Big drum, you can wash lots of cloth at a time. Lot of options for different cycles. When I bought it, my concern was rpm during spinning cycle. This machine runs at almost 800 rpm during spinning cycle which is less compare to other brands which has 1200 or 1300 rpm. But your clothes gets almost dried which saves electric bill for my heater. This is very efficient machine which saves water and electricity and clean your clothes very good. We are happy with the machine. Right now I am giving 4 stars to it, if it will remain same after a year then I will change it to 5 stars.

I LOVE my washer. It came a few weeks late due to COVID-19, but it was worth the wait. I’m able to wash my king size bedding and still have space left. I love the black stainless steel and how beautiful they look in my laundry room. Very easy to use that even my 11-year-old washes her own clothes! I love all the features and it also allows you to adjust to amount of time/level you need. It’s a bit tall (I’m 4’11) that I had purchase a tool but other than that I have no complaints. I was a bit worried about purchasing it due to the mix reviews but I’m so happy I gave it chance. 100% happy with my purchase!

I have been looking for a washer for a couple of months. There are two types of washers regardless if its a front or top load. Either of the types come in one of these forms, as an "agitator," or "pulsar, non-agitator."
This model is a pulsar, it does not have an agitator. This means that the technology uses a disc that spins counter to the rest of the washer without the use of a middle tower. This not only saves space but makes sure that your clothes doesn't get stretched or tangled.
At first I was skeptic because I am use to seeing the water splash and shake vigorously with my older washers. This is not the case with this washer, BUT don't be fooled. My clothes come out extremely clean, soft and untangled.
People are complaining online that there is not enough water, however this is done on purpose, The dampness of the clothes rubs against each other, they DO get wet, you don't need the extra water, trust me.
The machine knows how much water to put in because it tests the weight of the clothes. What the machine doesn't know is the type of fabric. Obviously if you place a large towel with a few shirts that towel is going to suck up most of the water, in which case heavy or higher should be used.
Every negative review on these dryers was simply human error not the machine. What sold me on the machine was best buy educating me on these types of washers and how to properly use them.
This washer is amazing for moms, trust me this is one of the best washers I've come across. Don't be fooled by the slow action or the amount of water, it's doing it's job... The manual tells you which type of clothes go on what mode.
Also the extra built in sink is AMAZING the newer models do not have this feature. It does not get in the way of your clothes space and great for scrubbing stains off.

I have only had the washing machine for about 2 months. The tub is so big that you could wash a weeks worth of laundry for a family of three in one wash. It’s got a lot of great wash cycles. The wash cycle is long which can be annoying on one hand but when you can wash such large loads it’s actually saving time. The tub is very deep that it’s hard to reach the bottom and I am 5’ 7 - it hasn’t left any white spots on my dark clothes but I use minimal detergent and fabric softener. It’s quiet which is a plus. So far so good
