So far, we have not had any unbalance problems with this washer. We hoped to get a rebate based on the rated efficiency of this washing machine, but it appears that rebates are only given to front loading Samsung washers, and we did not want a front loader - so no rebate.

It had the best reviews at the time so we made the plunge. Only negative thing I can say about this washer is that the sanitize mode takes over two hours to run. Makes a very long laundry day if you want to use this mode on every load. Other than that, clothes, towels, bed sheets, etc. come out very clean.

It isn't the quietest machine when the water is filling and it is "figuring" itself out but the duration of machine wash is very quiet. I haven't used the steam function since it has a long cycle run. I have used the activewash and it's awesome!
