I just received my new Samsung Washer. First impressions - It's a funky pink color but I'm not going to complain being that it was $140 cheaper than the white one. Seems like a decent machine. Installation: Straight forward; pull the tape off, hook up the hoses and put the drain tube in the sink/standpipe. The drain tube is extremely short and required an extension to get it to the sink. Also, there is a calibration you are supposed to run before you cycle the machine. There are leveling "discs" that are with the manual that you have to pull the feet off the machine and then put the discs on. Strange that they wouldn't come with them installed but ah well. Running a cycle: The machine seems pretty quiet to me. A normal mode load seems to take longer than my last washer (Front loaded Kenmore). Soft close lid is a nice touch too. Whole bunch of different cycles that I haven't messed with yet. Not a fan that the cycles don't remember my previous choices for a mode. Clothes were extremely dry after running. Overall: Pros - Quiet, gets most of the water out of the clothes, soft close lid Cons - Goofy color (not a big deal), drain tube too short, doesn't remember cycle preferences for next load. Hopefully it lasts as long as my last machine.

We love our washer and dryer we bought them 3 years ago and they work great

I've had this washer for 4 years and 3 months. Right around the 4 year mark, an unbalancing issue began. I've learned this is a very common issue with Samsung washers. During the spin cycle it will become unbalanced and begin spinning like crazy for every single load (no matter how small) I will never buy another Samsung washer due to this issue.

We’ve had this washing machine for a little over three years, since we purchased it, it has given us so many problems since the beginning. First started noticing the top was cracking since the tub is deep & you need to put your body weight on it to retrieve clothing. Then, not even a year after we bought it, it starts leaking everywhere onto the floor. When service repair came to look at what was wrong with it they said it was a cracked tub. It took almost two months to replace. With a family of five, a member of the family who has lupus, that needs to be carefully watched over 24/7 waiting almost two months isn’t suitable & is a long time without a working washing machine, so of course we had to do our laundry at the laundry mat until the new tub came in. Which was frustrating because they couldn’t give us an actual date when it would arrive. It was a waiting game, endless phone calls, being redirected in circles & passed on who can help us figure out a timeline. Fast forward a year later, last night, we ran a load & woke up the next morning to leaking water everywhere. Thankfully we had the washing machine drain pan underneath or it would have been all over the floor of our laundry room. Now we need to yet again get it repaired & have someone come out to diagnose the problem this time. I just wanted to share my experience with this specific washer to save anyone the trouble if I can. Don’t know if the one we bought was bad from the start but shouldn’t washing machines last more than three years?

Do not buy this washer if you need it for more than a year. The washer was great at first but after a few months. It becomes unbalanced and rattles a lot then come up with ubr error it will then add water and minutes to the circle. It adds the water in an effort to spread the clothes evenly, sometimes this process will make the cycle times go from about 1 hour to 4 hours and use a lot of water in the process. I tried multiple times to arrange the clothes evenly, but any slight weight caused by water on soaked clothes make it unbalanced. I read the reviews before buying this washer/dryer and it has good reviews. The problem is almost all good reviews are from people that have used it for only few weeks, not months. Stay away from this washer if you plan to use it for more than a year, the dryer is okay.

We purchased the set and what a piece of engineering this machines are. Washes the clothes perfectly and quietly. Clothes come out smelling clean without have to use lots of detergent. The only concern I have if it is used with hot water washing the steam comes up were the controllers are, hopefully Samsung thought of that and sealed the bottom part of the control panel to keep humidity away from the eletrônica inside.

DOES NOT CLEAN CLOTHES OR BLANKETS. IT JUST SWOOSHES AROUND EVEN ON HEAVY DUTY.

Bought in December 2020, started having trouble January 2023 and completely stopped spinning Feb 2023. No one even wants to work on them because they’re trash. Same story with Samsung fridge we had to replace. Stay away from Samsung appliances!

If I could give these appliances zero star I would, I had to have the washer replaced after 2 days, the replacement stop working on the second day. Also you have to run the dryer 3 times to completely dry clothes. Very expensive piece of junk. Told Best Buy I do not want these piece of junk, to pick up and refund my money.

Absolute trash, this is the 2nd samsung washer that starts giving problems 2 years on the dot. Horribly made, cheap plastic material and not meant for heavy loads or large families.
