I purchased this over the black friday weekend at a steal. The quality and feature set for the price I paid is unmatched. The capacity of this washer is immense. I have yet to encounter a garment or laundry load situation where I wasn't able to fit everything and have the machine actually clean the contents correctly. Pros: Wireless connectivity via smartthings and google home. It's nice to get a notification when your load is complete. Capacity - it's huge and deep. Fits king size comforters fits easily. Quiet operation. Slow close lid - no more slamming of the washer lid. Auto-dispense - I never thought this would be such a useful feature but I really do enjoy loading detergent and softener and being able to run many loads without having to fill detergent/softener each time. I also like that you can manually adjust how much of each is used per-load. Cons: The lid and control panel are a fingerprint magnet. If you're a neat freak, this will be really annoying. I've been extremely pleased with this washer (and dryer) and highly recommend it. NOTE: Short people may find reaching down into the tub a hassle since it is very deep. Thankfully, I'm 6f2in and don't have this issue but I can see it as an issue.

5.5 cu. ft. Extra-Large Capacity Smart Top Load Washer with Auto Dispense System (WA55A7700AV/US) This washing machine is a real showstopper. It is stunning to look at and has the extra features to really take it over the top. However, I want to lead with something that most people won’t give a second thought to, accessibility. This washing machine actually has braille and indicators on the main buttons and Samsung even added different tones to the levels so that those in the blind and low vision community can hear which level they are setting their options to. These features combined with the smart things app, really add to the accessibility of the washing machine. In a world where sighted people gravitate towards touch screens and smooth surfaces, the blind and low vision community are all too often left behind. This is a huge improvement and I applaud Samsung for taking a big step in the right direction! Since I work with the blind and low vision community, this is something I have mentioned before, and it is great to see they are listening! One of my favorite functions is the auto dispense. I really like not having to mess with soap, softener, or pods in order to do laundry. The addition of that system combined with the remote control of the washing machine via app allows you to have full control of the machine while you are away – provided someone else is there to put in and take out the laundry of course. Another great feature is the soft closing lid. In my review video I actually tried slamming it shut, and the mechanisms would still catch and softly close the lid without making a sound. This is especially useful when your hands are full. This washing machine has far more options and customizations than any I have ever seen. The app gives recipes and allows you to customize and download your favorites to truly make the washing machine exactly what you want it to be. The 24-hour delay end cycle is amazing too. This is great for when you need clothes washed, but you don’t want them sitting and getting musty while you are gone. I honestly couldn’t find one negative thing about the washing machine. Samsung has outdone themselves this time!

Awesome value. Quiet operation. Installers dented it, called my local best buy and they're ordering brand new ones and giving me 10% off my purchase for the trouble. Had some other issues with installer, but I'm working with BB. Great company to do business with. The operation is smooth, quiet, and the capacity is more than enough for a family of 5. I love that there is no agitator, this keeps your clothes in better condition, for longer. It plays a really long melody when the cycle is complete. Operation has a good mix of analog and digital components.

Have been using this washer for about 3 months now and so far it's working well. Large capacity is great to have and has appropriate settings for just about any needs. I have even been able to wash a king size comforter. I cannot imagine needing the extensive settings some other washers offer ...water temp/timing/speed/etc. can all be adjusted with this machine. I have become a fan of the auto-dispensing unit and now realizing I have been using WAY too much detergent/softener in the past. I have used Samsung washer/dryers in the past and this one works similarly. 4 stars because I had to return the first unit that was delivered (had a cracked dispenser and was not draining properly) - Best Buy was great and the whole exchange process was SUPER easy and delivery people were great. Great choice and value. Also, the cycle complete chime/song is excessive and goes waaaay too long (can be silenced).

Love this machine! Very deep and large capacity for quilts and comforters. Even plays a little ditty when cycle is complete :) Cleans/washes items very well. We are a busy, active family-with pets, so this machine seems to always be in use and it is doing a fantastic job. Thought that because it’s a “smart” machine, it would be complicated technology, but after reading through instructions and using a few times, it is easy! And it is “smart”! We are in love with this machine!

I love the automatic dispenser for the laundry soap and softener. I have teenage boys and they would waste so much laundry soap before and leave a mess. We washed our bedding for our King size bed and there was still plenty of room. It is pretty quiet. My only complaint is that I am to short to reach the bottom of the drum so I have to use a pair of kitchen tongs to grab socks and small items from the bottom (I am 5ft 4in). It is super easy to use any of the settings.

The sleek black & bronze color makes your washer- if you're able to get the set- & the dryer, a great addition to the home without being an eye sore as I've felt previous sets have dragged down the aesthetic of my homes. The wide variety of settings are a life saver with tackling all types of clothes you have & the ability it has to get out mud, stains or stench from even my husband military clothes is beyond me. It's so easy to use, the only thing I've had trouble with is the detergent fully emptying from the little tray you put it in, so I've opted into just pouring the detergent into the tub with the clothes. That the only thing I've had trouble figuring out, but the app is so easy & quite helpful with anyone who struggles with ADHD, mom brain, burnout, etc. you get reminders the load is done and you'll never have an excuse that you or anyone in your family forgot to change the loads out, since (let's all admit it) our phone are rarely out of sight or touch. I have adhd, so with my laundry room being out of sight I tend to forget even if I've heard the chime, so this has been a life saver for getting clothes done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this and discovering the controls within the app!

This washing machine has a HUGE interior!! I have to stand on my tip toes in order to be able to reach the bottom. It is super quiet and very efficient. My husband likes that he can control it from his phone, I just use the delay start feature :-) While I do not use the autofill feature, my husband loves the idea of having it. I have been very happy with this necessary purchase!

I absolutely love this washer/dryer set! The washer has cleaned stains out of clothes our 7 yr old whirlpool set wouldn’t touch. It holds and washes my king sized comforter with ease. The auto dispense system is a total bonus! Filling once every week vs every time, genius! Highly recommend! The dryer is huge! And love the sweater rack.

I love this washer!! I'm able to complete all of my family's laundry in hours compared to days with my old washer. There are many settings to accommodate most needs. Did I mention it has a soft close lid? Only con is that since it is 5.5 cu. feet, The drum is extra deep. This means that it is impossible for me to reach the bottom of the drum without a step stool. I'm 5'2". Even so, I would but this washer again. Highly recommend! I bought this on a fantastic Labor Day sale!

The fact you can load detergent and it self dispenses was enough for me, but the capacity is amazing, you can control it from your phone if you forget to start it. It's just next level amazing.

Absolutely one of the best washing machines on the markey. Get it with the warranty though because there are plenty of repair techs that say parts are an issue. Nonetheless, we are always super pleased w/ Samsung products even though we feel they get a bad rap. Just make sure you know that they last about 5 to 7 years regardless. This model is great though. We used to have a front facing, but we think this is kind of the best mix between the traditional and the front facing models. Family loves the auto-soap dispenser. Easy to maintain. Easy to use. Only thing is...I hate when it sings every time it finishes.

This washer is big. And every load I put to wash comes out perfectly clean. The auto soap dispenser work wonders. And also It looks great in my home.

The extra large capacity was a must for our family of 5, and this washer doesn't disappoint. It is truly a must-have! We love the auto dispense system for detergent and softener. The washer is so quiet, we can't even hear it in the next room over.

The title says it all. This is the most elegant, efficient, high tech and FUN appliance we have ever owner. Features are endless - super quiet too. And the capacity is HUGE! Laundromat huge. Saves a lot of time. Got the matching dryer as well.

So far so good the washer is so big that my wife is doing her laundry in one load now. It is a little bit bigger/taller than we expected. At times she have to use a step stool to get all of the laundry out. Although this washer is high-capacity but foot print is not as big as the previous washer that we had. So far so good… also got a matching dryer and loving the Wi-Fi and SmartThings integration. Also loves the laundry recipe and help me or teach me how to do the laundry the correct way, even for this dummy!

This was a fantastic purchase. Huge washer and dryer thats easy to use. Durable. Quiet. Efficent. Samsung products fill my house and they always cone through.

I love this washer…..it is large and fully cleans the clothes. The dispensers for the detergent and fabric softeners are convenient. It’s quiet and stylish.

Large capacity is VERY true! I am fairly tall and need a stool to reach small items on the bottom. It took time to get used to the auto dispense system (which is optional to use) but so far I have been happy with the performance aligned to the price. "SMART Top Load" - I am a technical person, and we figured out how to use this, but this washer would be too complicated for my grandmother as an example.
