My wife and I had our eyes on this stove for about a year just checking prices. It retailed at about $1600 to $1700, but we got it on sale for about $1100. I couldn't pass it up at that price. First of all, the stove looks incredible. The touchscreen on the front is user friendly and it DOES lock (that was important for us because or little one loves hearing things beep). The convection cooking is incredibly fast, and it makes awesome crunchy french fries. It does preheat a little slower than we expected, but that's a small nit picky thing. We haven't tried cooking a lot of things yet, but we did have it for our family Thanksgiving get together and had several casseroles in there at the same time. It cooked evenly and quickly. It does have a conventional setting for baking too if you prefer that for casseroles or things like that. There are only two things that are somewhat negative so far. The cooktop shows any smudge or dust on it. That being said, if you buy the stove top polish, it will make it look very glossy and brand new (I just mentioned the smudges in case someone has a little one rubbing the top of the stove...the smudges will show and be obvious). And the other negative is that the knobs to turn on the burners can be turned on without knowing it. If you lean on them, they can turn on. It happened to us...my wife leaned on it, it turned on, and we happened to have a plastic bag from hamburger buns on the stovetop. We noticed it melting quickly and turned the burner off and it hasn't happened since because we are conscientious of it. On a side note, the melted plastic came off fairly easily with a plastic spatula and my fingernail (once the burner cooled, obviously). Anyway, I tried to cover some of the things I wanted to know when purchasing this. Hope it helps someone. It is an awesome stove though, and we are very pleased with the purchase so far (we've had it about a month).

This range offers excellent cooking options from oven to stove top. Sleek styling really stands out in the kitchen. Top burners offer many small and large pot temperature choices. Fast boil for water is super fast to bring water to a boil. The oven itself has many superstar cooking choices. The broiler is very hot on hi & low settings and cooks very fast. This is our first dual convection oven and I love it. I baked a tray of meatballs for sauce and they cooked perfectly even with no burning in the convection mode. The spaciousness of the oven interior with three racks is awesome. I did use the steam clean option on some light spills and the wiped up quick and clean with a sponge. The oven light is bright and offers a great view of the food as it is cooking. The electronic control panel is easy to use with it's left to right functionality. The only negative is the tone of the timer chime is very low upon completion. I called Samsung and there is no adjustment to the sound level. The glass top is easy to clean. Use a good quality Weiman glass top cleaner and paper towel. Wipe with a damp paper towel and let dry. Then buff the top with a microfiber cloth and the glass top is returned to like new condition. Best Buy Geek Squad did the installation and did a fantastic job. The were super careful to avoid any scratches. The haul away of the old range no charge was great. We love Best Buy for it's pricing, no interest 18 month pay and great Geek Squad Service.

I actually intended to purchase this range about 2 years ago during a kitchen renovation. I needed it to complete the total matching set of appliances, and because my OCD demands perfection. Obviously, the stove top takes patience and care to maintain, that's a given for any smooth top surface. That being said, from delivery to installation (Myself) it has been flawless. The delivery crew actually arrived 30 minutes early, had this around the back of my home and into the kitchen in a minute or less, and already out the door with the old oven moments later. The oven, after installing the power cord as well as the back expansion piece behind the range, slid into place with 0 effort. Some people in earlier reviews said it's hard to level... this would be true *if* your counters aren't already level themselves. If you adjust the foot pegs to the correct height and be sure it's level, once you slide it in you shouldn't need anymore adjustment. If your counter is not level, you may need to slide it back, test the fit, and pull it out again as you cannot access the rear foot pegs from the lower drawer area. All in all this was the best money I spent on an appliance, and it became the centerpiece of my kitchen. If you're good at maintaining your appliances this is a sure fit for you.

Good Stove, If It Was Fixed

This should have been a dream purchase, who wouldn't love to get new stainless appliances for the kitchen? The old stove was removed and literally tossed down the front steps - okay, we didn't need it anyway. Wrong! The new stove had a side that was pushed in. The truckers thought they would just take it back and bring a new one in 3 to 4 weeks when it arrived. Really? I asked. And how am I supposed to cook? Finally they agreed to leave the new stove, which didn't fit into the opening that was configured with the measurements of the new stove. So, the stove was set up in the middle of the kitchen to await the granite guys return to adjust the opening and a new stove was ordered. New stove arrived and looked great. That was fine right, granite was adjusted and stove was installed, at least it was fine until I heated the oven for dinner a few days later. The little light kept telling me that the oven door was not closed, so I tried to open and reclose the oven door only to have it fall of in my hand and drop to the floor. Guess it wasn't installed correctly. Okay, I can get over that, but now to get a new oven door installed - well, it has been almost 3 weeks and we still do not have the oven door installed. Next week, okay, I say, next week it will be. Time will tell. Overall, I would have given the stove more stars if it arrived in good shape, had an oven door on it and I could use the darn thing. Somehow I didn't think that getting a new stove was going to be this big a deal.

Looks good but failed within a few weeks

This range is definitely a nice looking one. Looks more expensive than what it is. I have had it for about 10 weeks and so far this is my experience: - Cook top area has performed good. Powerful heat and things boil pretty quickly. The glass gets dirty easily but I imagine any range made out of glass will have the same problem. I recommend buying cleaning products made for glass cook tops - The oven started working properly, then out of the sudden it cannot be turned on. A technician from the Geek Squad came and stated the internal board (basically the computer that controls the oven) is defective and needs to be replaced. Also the light on/off works only occasionally which is also indication the computer has some kind of defect. I'm waiting for the replacement part so it gets fixed. I'm a little bit concerned about the performance of this from now. Who knows if the new part also will be faulty. I wonder if someone else has had a similar experience. In summary, overall looks and features are great, the problem is reliability and the risk of an important part as the main board breaking after warranty expires. Maybe it would be wise to buy an extended warranty for it.

Beautiful range but damages very easily

I purchased and have had this range for about a month now. Works great except I was boiling some water for pasta two weeks ago and the water boiled over onto the cook surface and damaged the surface. I contacted Samsung which had a service center get in touch with me about the issue. I sent them photos (see attached photos) of the damage and upon their review and speaking with Samsung they deemed this physical damage and it will not be warrantied. I spoke to Samsung direct about this and they confirmed they will not warranty or stand behind this damage. So anyone that is looking for a new range, this is a nice range but the cooktop damages very easily. I hate to see what this cooktop will look like in 6 months. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the product and Samsung and will never purchase another Samsung product again. Buyer beware.

I've had this oven for about a month and it's not as rave as some have reviewed. I do a fair amount of cooking so I'm on it 3x's a day so I feel as though I can handle myself in the kitchen. PLUS: Oven. I use the convection and that sucker heats pronto and quicker than the conventional. I would make sure you have your racks set from the get go for best performance, 2 and 5 if I'm not mistaken. SO-SO. I miss my Whirlpool cooktop. The quick boil on the large size is good but not so quick on the middle size. This is the one we use the most. We had this feature on the cooktop, large and med in the same spot and didn't care for it, either. Alot of heat escapes from outside of the pot which I think wastes energy and keeps the pot from heating as fast. The front oven controls are nice and easy to use. Dual timer is nice. You do ocassionally trip the front panel on with your body but not to worry because you have to hit another button to start the oven. Another negative is that the heat controls seem to react slowly to decreases in temp so turn it way down if you're trying to avoid an overboil. It's definitely slick in design. If you do a lot of baking, I think you'll enjoy it. Price was right. I needed the slide on and would have had to spend another $1000 for the next slide on model. Good luck and happy cooking!

I love my new stove! I admit, the black top took a little getting used to. It shows things more than my old smooth top range; but a quick search on BB showed that all of the cooktops are black these days. However, I found that a little all purpose cleaner does the trick for surface smudges (use Scotch Brite ceramic cooktop cleaner for major spills). The oven: if at first you don't succeed, RTFM (read the flippin' manual!). The first batch of cookies I made in it, I was a bit concerned... brown on the bottom and a bit under-cooked in the middle. Round 2: let's try this convection feature! I used the auto conversion that automatically adjusts the cook temp for recipes that give you a conventional often temperature, but no convection temperature. LOVE IT. These are the best cookies I have ever baked. I'm hooked! As for the stove top: it does boil quickly. Once you add pasta to a pot of boiling water, turn that bad boy down to 6, or you're going to have a mess on your hands! Very happy with my purchase. I bought the Samsung because it was rated well by Consumer Reports and by purchasers on Best Buy. I'm sure I'll be happy for years to come!

We completly HATE this stove ! The top is a disaster to clean. We have had these types of smooth top cooking surfaces and this is a complete joke to try and clean. Good luck with any spill over, as you might never get it clean. I spent an hour with the recommended cleaner and tried other ones as well, and nothing really works. The top has scratches and stains after less than 30 days. The internal fans continue to exhaust the heat from the stove, quite an annoyance on warmer days. its quite easy to accidentally bump the burner controls and have a burner turn on (not good). The design looks good, but it all looks. This should be a recalled product due to all the issues. This is just not a lemon, but a complete design failure. Just don't buy, find something else. If you do, you WILL be back writing a similar review. The reviews that are positive are people talking about the stoves looks, thats all. Its simply NOT A GOOD PRODUCT. AGAIN, DONT BUY !!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

Purchased this oven after several weeks of research to replace an old, mostly functioning antique; and we couldn't be happier. We have found Samsung products to be high quality and good looking, this unit does not disappoint. Installation was easy enough, though I had to put some blocking underneath it to raise it up high enough. The tile has an obnoxious bull nose to it, and the glass on top was just slight wider. But once it was up and in place, it looks beautiful. It comes with a rear 'extender' if your counter top is deeper than normal. I installed it with the extender in place but removed it a few days later; didn't see a need for it. The main selling point for me was the controls in the front of the unit. I dislike reaching over boiling pans and hot burners to adjust. The knobs feel solid and the mechanism is smooth. The burners heat quickly and evenly. The touch panel in front is easy to use and responsive. You needn't press hard to make selection; the menus I found to be quite easy to use. The oven itself is very quiet; I had read several reviews that though it was too loud once you start to warm up and I was a bit concerned. But the fan is extremely quiet. The interior space is quite ample and the heating elements perform great. Thinking of anything that I do not like it more nit picking than anything. The lower drawer is quite shallow and you can adjust the rear feet ONLY if you have access to the rear of the stove. This makes leveling it slightly difficult.

review about the range;I have been looking for a slide-in range to replace my old one for a few years. Most of ranges have the knobs in the back. I heard that when you cook, food particles and grease get to the knobs and eventually it becomes really hard to clean and become dirty fast. So when I found this range with a sale price, I was really happy. it is great looking one and easy to clean. To be honest, I haven't used the oven yet, so I cannot say anthing about it though. But Samsung has great reputation, so I don't have any doubt that baking function will be just fine. But I have to say something negative about BEST BUY CONSTOMER SERVICE. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO DEAL WITH THEM OVER 3 WEEKS AND MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCY. MY FAULT, WHICH I ADMIT, WAS CALLING 1-800-BEST-BUY TO BUY THE RANGE INITIALLY. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO SAVE SOME TIME BY ORDERING AT HOME ON THE PHONE INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE STORE. A BIG MISTAKE IT WAS! BEST BUY COSTOMER SERVICE HAS HUGE FLAWS IN SETTING UP DELIVERY AND HAVING 3RD PARTY INSTALLATION. THEY DON'T HAVE KNOLEDGE ABOUT THE EXISTING RANGE. I JUST WANT TO FORGET ABOUT ALL THE PAINFUL TIME I HAD TO SPEND ON THE PHONE TO CORRECT THINGS OVER AND OVER. EVEN AFTER I GOT MY RANGE INSTALLED AND DELIVERED, BEST BUY WAS LEAVING ME SEVERAL VOICE MESSAGES ABOUT "RESCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION". IT MADE ME SO MAD, BUT ONE LESSON I LEARNED FROM THIS PAINFUL EXPERIENCE IS THAT I NEED TO GO TO THE STORE TO BUY APPLIACES.

Bought this oven from Best Buy exactly 18 months ago. Just paid my last payment to them in June. Used the self cleaning feature for the first time ever last week. The oven shut down about 1 hour into the cycle. Could not open the door and the panel went black. Had the local repair company out and they said it will cost $700 to fix. I only paid $1100.00 for it 18 months ago. I was never really happy with the oven/stovetop from the beginning. The oven temperature was inconsistant when baking cookies and could not hear the timer alarm. Also could not get the stovetop cleaned after the first couple of months. I had a Kenmore Kitchenaid for over 13 years and the stovetop looked as good the day I replaced it as when I bought it. I bought this range because of the great reviews it received and I loved that it looked like a high end range, but it does not last like a high end range. Will never buy a Samsung again! Beware!!!

This is a range oven/cooktop is one of the most innovative stoves I have laid eyes on! Their were no models in the Best Buy stores, so I just had to take the photos online and checked Samsung for additional photos. After receiving it and installing it myself. I have no complaints at all! This is an amazing stove for anyone looking to replace their current set or to upgrade to a very innovative range. It is all touch screen, has to fans in the oven, is a convection, can easily make cooking a breeze with all the space and the roast rack in the bottom of unit, it also comes with a cooking probe built into the stove that you can remove and use when your food is close to being done. The glass top is very clean and professional looking, heats up super quick and can use different settings to make a small cooking area or large cooking area, using additional heat. I haven't got into discovering everything there is to know about this range yet, but can't wait till I do. Very satisfied with this purchase and I know you will be too!! Give it a try! You'll Love it!

I visited every appliance store in my area, and this stove is an amazing value. Similar stoves, with these features, were up to $2000. The stove has a very industrial look with the large, stainless knobs. Many other manufacturers use cheap plastic. The oven is huge. It has 3 racks, instead of the usual two. It makes the storage drawer below slightly smaller, but I'll gladly make that swap. It performs beautifully, and has features I haven't even used yet. The steam cleaning is something I look forward to trying when I need to. The front knobs are very easy to see and use. A lot of stoves, with the knobs in back, are hard to control, as with the new burner in a burner, it's hard to figure out which way the control works for each burner . I'm planning on a kitchen remodel in the near future, and the kitchen designer suggested this type of stove, as it has a built in look. Even in my old 70s kitchen, it makes the place look like a million bucks. I have never been so pleased with an appliance.

If I could give it zero stars I would....if you cook or care for a clean glass this is the WORST GARBAGE GLASS EVER..... first of all the first oven they delivered the actual oven didn’t even turn on at all.... Best Buy tried to send me someone to fix it but I believe you should be able to plug in a brand new oven and have it work.... they came to deliver the second one and the rain droplets from the glass have yet to come off.... there’s no oven ,glass, anything cleaner that gets this nasty glass clean.... god forbid a drop of hot water falls on it ..... my 10 year old glass top looked better after three times a day use them this one before it was used once..... the actual cooking functions the oven is actually decent.... it’s large and fits a few things at once.... but does take a while to heat up..... don’t bother

Stove heats up okay, cooks evenly. It looks nice in the kitchen. However....the cooktop is a nightmare to clean even with the recommended cleaning products. I've never burned any food on it and the splatters have been very minimal but each wipe down is a process I dread. The next negative (to me anyway) is that when the timer shuts off so does the oven. That delayed a few meals before I figured out what the problem was....which brings me to my last5 negative. The timer beeper is ridiculously low. I can hear my cell phone notifications loud than the timer. So, you can't hear the timer even 12 ft. away let alone in the adjoining room. So it's a 2 way problem. You can't hear the timer....the oven shuts off, you check on the meal, once you realize you didn't hear the timer go off, but you didn't expect the oven shut to off as well... so your dinner is going to take another 45 minutes once the oven is turned back on. Not fun when you have hungry friends waiting for dinner.

      Hey Cathy.
We love the fact that you like the design of your Samsung Range. Let me provide you with some assistance here. On this link (https://bit.ly/2sJtJTh), you will find some steps to keep the cooktop clean and shiny. Also, if you don't want the oven to shut off when the time has elapsed, you can use the Timer function. Have had this stove installed for about three weeks now. Install went well. Legs have adequate range of adjustment, which took a couple of tries to set just to my liking. We are using the extra trim piece to fill out the gap in the rear, which works well and looks decent. The oven functions perfectly well. Cook-top has been perfectly durable so far, heats up pretty quickly and seems to maintain set temperature well. I like that the 'hot surface' indicator actually displays which element is hot. Have not used warming center, but love that it's there. The oven was used to bake a couple loaves of banana bread which cooked very evenly and still had a nice crust. One thing to note, even though this is a convection oven, it does still have an exposed heating element at top of ovens interior - for broiling I presume. Only thing I can criticize about the appliance is that the hue of the blue LCD display doesn't quite match the other Samsung appliances (fridge and micro) that we have. It's a lighter shade.

Oven is very nicely built and has more options then I will ever use. I read complaints on turning burners on by accident and would like to say that this has not been a problem for us but I do not have a microwave overtop so we don't have to lean over for anything. I love how the glass sits over our counter on the sides... no more food falling down between cabinet and stove. My wife still sort has a hard time with the LCD she use conv bake for everything but electronics are not her thing. The only bad thing is the sound level of the buzzer. I really wish it was adjustable because if you are not within 10-15 feet you may not here it. buzzer only goes off for a minute or two than does continue to beep at intervals like our last stove did. Overall it looks and cooks perfectly and would recommend this product to my friends. Our last oven was just a oven and nobody that visited our home ever made comment on it but have had multiple comments on this one already. Gave 4 star because of buzzer I actually use a small hand turn buzzer now because I burnt my apple crisp.

We needed an in-counter stove to replace our Kenmore after the clock went out the second time which they wanted $600 for. Samsung was a new name in appliances to us, and being impressed with their cell phones and Best Buy's awesome price, customer service and experienced employees, We gave this stove a chance. We love the triple racks in the oven and the five burners. Special care is needed to keep the top clean, but with our heavy use (about 15 meals a week) it is working out fine. One unexpected problem is how easily the range and oven turn on. If we walk by and brush the control panel, it would turn on so we have to use the lock display feature to control the oven and with the range, not leave a rag on the top. The front elements have a neat left turn/right turn for different size heating. This reduces the excess heat. Samsung has been thoughtful and overall we are pleased. ...took the Kenmore to the junkyard for $18 scrap. MB

I gave this range 5 stars because I purchased it with a huge manufacturers rebate whenever it first came out. I love the design, and I love the touch screen operating system that runs the oven. Not to mention it has a dual convection oven that you can cook at two different temps in. The controls/knobs look more industrial than other ranges and they have several settings from low to high, of course, but two knobs have control settings for different burners within the burner if that makes sense My only complaint is that the ceramic top seems very susceptible to scratching and it is difficult to make it look completely clean. The most important aspect is that it actually cooks well and put my old range to shame. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new range that has a few added bells and whistles.
