I needed something to replace a white stove I got as a "placeholder" less than a year ago. The stove I replaced was more like this, 5 burners, grates across the whole top, and the temp unit I purchased when it failed was just a standard 4 burner with these nasty burners that wouldn't even sit flat. I finally decided to take advantage of the sales over the holidays and loved the looks of this. My entire house had white appliances, so this was the first step to stainless steel, and I knew it would spur me further (and indeed it did, less than 6 weeks later I've replaced everything in the house). I love the looks. The stainless and black make this look just superb in my kitchen. I don't have complex needs, being a single parent of my son, so we're pretty basic people when it comes to cooking. But I use my stovetop to store my two most used items, a 12 inch skillet, and a 12 inch wok, so having the grates cover the entire surface make this a much easier thing to do, as I'm not limited to just the four corners to put something. The burners work great, light quickly, and I love having the long one in the middle again, since that works great under my rectangular cast iron pancake sheet. I like that the oven actually shows me the temp as it's preheating, so I can see how close I am. I've never had that before. The one thing I would complain about is the brightness of the LED for the clock. In the night, it's like a night light, and I wish it was toned down like the microwave above it is. And the rear of the racks in the oven tip upwards, which annoys me for some of my pans, since they won't sit flat now as they would normally rest the full length of the stove in my previous one, but this one won't let them. So I have to be careful depending on what I'm cooking and what sheet I'm using. Usually it's not an issue since I can put pans in there so they go left to right for the long direction, but when doing things like jerky when I have several pans on each shelf, I have to have them lengthwise front to back, and they are just a little too long for this rack to sit flat now, compared to the previous stoves. But the oven holds a temp well, makes my cooking and baking as easy as it can be, and for a single dad, that's critical. I'm no gourmet... And it looks spectacular while being functional, and having picked it up on sale, I can't complain.

I spent qulite a while reading online and talking with different sales people in different stores looking for a basic but well built, EVEN cooking, hopefully long lasting range. We have had the range a week. Well designed, excellent adjusting burners...griddle near high makes golden brown pancakes, oven heats evenly to temp designated, oven door and gasket are quality, sides of stove not hot except where the two vents are located, all different sized burners with a small low burning one for non stick hot cereal cooking. . WONDERFUL. What I've learned is that stoves, in fact appliances, are now expected to last 7plus years...used to be 15yrs. I think the weak link is the circuit board. Our old stove, an Amana..very fancy range...had it's circuit board blow out when the power came back on recently after a regional power outage.. SO: I've installed a surge protector....2000 Joule recommended. WE will see how long this one lasts. One salesman at Home Depot told me that Samsung puts a lot into R&R. The feel of the stove testifies to that fact.

I had a very high end stove that died a year or so ago, and I didn't have time to find something I really liked, so I just got something to "fill in" for the time being. And I really disliked it. The four burners just had little grates over each, and I was used to having an entire surface of the stove with burners and grates, since I keep my skillets on top when not in use. I finally caved in over the holiday season when they had a good appliance sale, and chose this one. I liked the burner layout, I loved the looks, and it had the simpler features I needed, being a single dad with one son. We don't need much, and the price couldn't be beat. Burners light quickly, something I sometimes struggled with on the stove this replaced. Oven works great, and seems to hold the correct temperature as I've had no problems with anything I've cooked in it so far. The long middle burner is great for my large rectangular pancake pan. About my only gripe is the brightness of the clock, I wish I could dim it down some. But other than that, I've got nothing but praise for this.

Purchased this stove to replace a 1930's stove. Love the large oven, and the varied types of burners. I use the precise simmer burner a lot. The stove does not have a self cleaning feature nor is it a convection oven, which I was glad about- didn't really want or need those features. The stove was easy to install and the burners were already pre set so no adjustments were needed. I miss my beautiful old stove, but it was no longer safe to use. I really love the new stove's reliability, convenience, and ease of use. Plus it is a great looking addition to my kitchen.

I like the way it has preformed so far. Happy with how it bakes cakes and cookies. I am getting use to which pots and pans I can use at the same time and fit right so that heat distribution is not affected. I was surprised at the amount of heat that comes from the vents by the oven handle. I will have to be cautious when the oven is used at a very high heat. Make sure and use an oven mitt as you open the oven. It hasn't been a problem for us. The grates do wear quickly and you do have to put extra care in keeping the area underneath clean. The burners are sort of loud when in use but not a real problem. Five burners is definately a nice feature when I am cooking several items.

We used an oven thermometer to check the temperature before actually baking anything. The actual temperature was cooler than the display recorded so we followed the guidebook instructions to adjust the temperature. It was a bit frustrating to get the adjusting numbers to appear, but finally they popped in so we could raise the temp by the number of degrees it needed to be accurate. After that it was right on target. In preheating the oven a bell dings when the correct temperature is reached, but we have found that it actually rings prematurely and still needs some more time to reach the desired temp. In all, we're pleased with this range.

I like the sleek look and the fact the broiler is on the top part of the oven. There's a nice storage compartment at the bottom for extra cookie sheets or a few frying pans. The digital clock is easy to see and stays accurate. The buttons are easy to read and navigate. One hiccup my husband noticed was that you must press the "set"button after selecting a temperature in order to preheat. Our old oven didn't require that extra step. So it's annoying for us because if you forget to press set, then the preheat feature does not kick on. But honestly that just takes a little time to get used to. We highly reccomend this stovetop!

The build for this unit feels great compared to some of it's similar competitors, it feels like a quality solid build and not flimsy and light. The unit works as expected and everything is very functional. The only issue I did have was the need to offset the oven temperature to get it to reach the correct temperature. The oven didn't seem to feel as hot as I was expecting so I put a thermometer inside and it was off by around 30 degrees. I checked the manual and by pressing a button combination on the manual you can make adjustments to the temperature. Maxing out the offsets corrected temperature from the default settings for me. Other than that, the unit looks great and am very happy overall with it.

Everything is great on this unit so far, the only thing to note is that you need to manually adjust the oven to the correct temperature. Mine was set by default to be almost 30+ degrees below the actual temp. I had a thermometer instrument in the oven to check and it was far below the stated temperature on the display. Check the manual and it'll tell you how to adjust the heat correctly, after that the oven worked perfectly. Just a caveat in case people think there is something wrong as it's not heating up enough. For the price of around $450, it was a huge bargain in my opinion compared to the other units in that range with it's overall build quality seeming to be extremely solid.

I did a lot of online reading about reliability, features and price points before my partner and I purchased this range and a matching microwave. We looked elsewhere, but I always prefer Best Buy for not only the product selection but the great Geek Squad service and support. I love Samsung TVs though had a bit more concern about unevenness of ratings on Samsung's major appliances. But these seemed very good overall and had the features we wanted for a good Christmastime price. Love the center oval burner, which we thought was important not just for us but ultimately home resale value. As I said, so far so very good.

I was looking for a new gas range because where I moved had no stove and after looking for about a week this stove caught my attention. Not only did it look good but it was within my price range. I got it delivered to my home due to a promotion BB had at the time. Once I hooked it up and fired it up this range worked like a dream, so much better than the used ones I've used in the past. The flames come out so much better and cooks at a much faster rate than ones I have used in the past. If you are looking for a new range within a reasonable price range this is the one.

Stove looks nice before use I purchased may 2017 but 3 months in steel grates are chipping with minimal use. Top of burners are starting to change colors. This is my first Samsung appliance purchase. But I wish I would have gone with another brand. I have contacted Samsung but "grates are cosmetic and not covered by warranty" I would have to purchase new ones. Also black top is starting to lose shine. Very disappointed

Great stove! Water comes to a boil in what seems like the blink of an eye. The oven is big and roomy and we had no problems cooking our Thanksgiving turkey plus 2 side dishes! The storage drawer is not much use. Only hold 2 cookie sheets and 2 mini muffins tins. My old stove held a broiler pan, stonewear bar pan, 6 cookie sheets, a brownie pan, 2 mini muffins pans and 2 cooling racks. Also, the stove top grates scratch very easily, we already have wear on them after less than a month.

Takes some getting used to after years of stove top burners that were all the same. I do love the low simmer settings on the back burners though. The center griddle was a big selling point as well. I do wish it had an optional griddle. This stove looks beautiful and imo, easily competes with more expensive competitors. The oven cooks perfectly as well. The main complaint I've seen is that you have to press the buttons to set the oven and timer quite firmly. For me, this is just a safety bonus :)

I love this gas range, exceeded my expectations was very easy to set up, temps were on point. The glass on the door is clear and when the light is on you can see the whole oven inside which is so nice, and I would recommend and have recommended to my sister who bought one also, only wish I got the cast iron griddle with it, but only came with the Convection one, bummer

I went into my local Best Buy looking for a new gas range. This one caught my eye immediately so I decided to give it a try . They reviews were great plus I already had a Samsung refrigerator. This range is amazing and has held up well. I’ve had it for over a year and everything still works great. Samsung did a awesome job with this product and I would highly recommend

Purchased this to replace a broken range. Chose this model for the 5th center burner, and it didn't disappoint. The burner is large and can handle bigger roasting pans and griddles. The oven itself has a great feature that shows you the temperature as the oven pre-heats. You can watch the temp climb all the way up to the setting selected. Easy to install, did need to pick up an adapter nipple for the connection to the hose but $11 later and we were cooking.

We wanted a range with a storage/warming drawer (not a broiler drawer), but weren't tied to any other features. Love having the power burners and the griddle burner. Some features do take getting used to (change is hard). There are a few drawbacks: The Alert sound (timer, reached pre-heat, etc.) is a little soft and the full coverage grates (which I love for moving pans on & off heat) means there's no place for a spoon/utensil rest on top of the range. Pros far outweigh the cons.

Great stove. I love the middle burner. My only complaint is that the buttons for your settings are so hard to push. Also every time you select something, you have to hit the START button in addition otherwise the command cancels out. For example, if you turn on the oven to 400 degree temp, you have to hit start or nothing happens. That wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't have to push the buttons so hard. It's annoying.

    Horrible Oven

After One year burners stop igniting and the center grill size burner only lights half of the burner, other half just passes un-burned natural gas. One day the ignitor for the stove top would not turn off, had to unplug the unit to resolve. Stay away from this product big waste of money. I thought Samsung was a trusted brand but have re-thought that after this experience.
