This stove is wonderful. It looks great in the stainless steel and black. The 5 burners are very convenient and we have used the griddle that was included numerous times already. It's easy to clean, unlike our previous range. The one word of caution I would give is the front burners are the big ones and they give off a LOT of heat. If you have kids, I would use the back ones the most. We even discolored a cabinet because a guest who was used to our old stove used it and turned it all the way up (our old one had the smaller burner in front). I don't see it as a safety issue--just a word of advice. What was nice was that most of their line of top mounted microwaves match the stove handle so you can choose from many different Samsung microwaves and it still matches. We already have a Samsung refrigerator and washer and dryer so have had very good experience with their products. The 4th of July sale made this purchase a no brainer.

The range's plusses and minuses after a month

We purchased a gas stove to replace our electric stove about a month ago. Not Best Buy's issue, but after purchasing the unit AND having it delivered, we discovered that we did not have the necessary gas capacity to handle this additional appliance in our home. I entirely blame this on myself and hired a plumber to run more gas line to fix this issue which ran us about $500 additional to the price of the stove. Like I said, this was my oversight, but may need to be considered in other's situations as well. Things we like: - Size of oven cavity. The five vertical grate positions are very useful. - The oven preheats quickly. - The stove knobs large and easily handled. - The oven vent is located in front of display and therefore becomes warm. This allows food to stay warm, the front display to get quite warm, however, they had to vent it somewhere and I'd rather that then venting toward the back and overheating the wall behind the stove. We consider this a reasonable compromise. - The ability to tune the oven temperature to reflect the actual temp in the oven. Out of the box is was about 25 degrees off. - We like to cook with cast iron and it was only after purchasing this unit that we learned that an electric glass cooktop would be scratched with our pans. If the glass of an electric range becomes scratched it can become a weak place and ultimately ruin the electric range. The gas range fit our cooking preference perfectly. Things we've observed: - Compared to electric, use of the burners warms the room more than our previous electric range's coils. This because the flame is open to the air and the electric surface is in direct contact with the pan, limiting how much excess heat escapes. Because the flame has a distance from the burner, if the window is open and it's breezy outside, it blows the flame around a bit. It's not a bad thing, but simply something to get used to. - It took a week or so of use before the 'break-in' odor of using gas and getting the materials hot in the range to stop emitting odor. If it were the middle of winter when we purchased the unit and the house needed to be closed up tight, this could have been uncomfortable. We purchased in the spring and left windows opened during this period and it was no big deal. Just something to be aware of. Things we'd like to see changed: - The control buttons are a bit difficult to push and have them take action. You cannot test this when in the showroom on any model, but discovered when installed. - We would like clock to be separate from other elements in the display so that when the oven is on and/or the timer is on, you can see the time. Also the display is a bit small in size. - I would have liked largest burner to have an inside/outside ring of flame rather than one large ring. The large ring tends to make the handles of the pots hot and the center a little cool in comparison.

Looks beautiful and matches my other black SAMSUNG appliances. We love the large middle burner and the griddle. While using the griddle you can only use small pots and pans and the other burners. Otherwise I have no complaints yet. But after reading all the reviews (good and bad) I decided to buy a warranty plan through Best Buy. I know from my other appliances that Samsung customer service is not very helpful, but I know the Geek Squad team does an outstanding job and stands behind their service. We chose to have it delivered, and installed it ourselves. Attaching a flexible gas connection is a piece of cake and pushing the stove in its final place does not require an expert.

5-burners with cast iron top! This is truly a stove I can work with. The multi-burner functions are excellent. I use the griddle often. No more lifting the top to clean. This range is the best one I ever bought.

The self cleaning Samsung Range is just right for our needs. We do a lot of top of range cooking and the Samsung has a variety of burner sizes to meet our diverse needs. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and when we use the oven it is easy to regulate the temperature. The Samsung (for us) makes meal preparation easy and fun! We are very satisfied with our Samsung Range!

My old stove was fine but I swapped from white to stainless steel, and opted for a Samsung. I love this stove! The five burners are so convenient. Food heats quickly and the oven is awesome too....self cleaning. ...enough said. Just be sure to let the fumes burn off for at least two hours with the windows open. After that you are ready to cook.

Wanted an oven in White, not as many options as in Stainless Steel. Really like the oven, preheats fast and shows you the actual temp as it is doing it. Oven volume is much bigger than the one it replaced. Burners work well, the grate keeps pans farther away from the burner than the old stovetop so I need to run them at a higher gas flow setting to heat the pans than I am used to. Don't love the buttons, hard to push, the timer goes off constantly once the limit is reached giving you no time to get to the oven, timer also keeps going off once the door is opened so it knows you are there dealing with it, wish it would just stop beeping for 10 seconds and let me see if I need to cook longer or not!

I am IN LOVE with my new stove! The price cant be beat, and it makes my kitchen look awesome. Our favorite part is the fifth burner that comes with a removable griddle. It makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches! I give the stove a 5+++; however, the installation was a disaster, through no fault of Samsung. Best Buy, you guys need to pick up your installation service standards!! I would give the installation experience a 1.

After looking at countless gas ranges, I decided to purchase this one, because of the quality and design. My favorite feature of this range is the middle burner, which comes with a stovetop griddle. I love innovative features like this, because I can pretty much cook an entire meal just on the griddle alone, without even using any pots or pans (limits the amount of dishes needing washed, lol). Some days I like to just walk into the kitchen and just stare at my new range. Excellent product.

We are really enjoying our new Samsung 5 burner Gas Range! Best Buy price matched Samsung's best advertised price in town, delivered and installed it for free, and took away the old unit for free - making this an excellent value! We were very satisfied with their prompt, efficient, and courteous installation team. The cooktop is proving to be every bit as versatile as we had imagined (with it's 5 different burners) and the nice sized oven seems to heat very evenly. Probably not the best at broiling but I still think we got a LOT of cooking value for what we paid!

good buy for the price. nice to look at. extra burner offers more cooking space and the 3 grates are just the right size to be able to clean them vs the two grate models that dont fit in the sink.

I love my new Samsung gas stove. It works great - have used all burners and oven. Love the look with three grates to remove for easy cleaning. Not a big fan of the griddle - very small and you sure cannot cook something very greasy on it such as sausage, as the grease would overflow since the gulleys to hold the grease are very small. All in all, this is a great basic gas stove with a super price! Sold my smoothtop electric range for $300 so this one only cost me $300 in actuality!

    Very disappointing

Two starts because I really do like the overall function of this oven. However, the design is horrible and cheap. My biggest complaint is that all of my knobs are falling apart. The stainless colored sticker that covers the knob is wrinkled and coming off. The back where it covers the gas control stem is cracked. I put some scotch tape on mine to try to hold it on. I bought this stove about 5 years ago, and I really expect an $800 stove to last better than this. The replacement knobs are $30 and there are 5 of them! Really?? $150 for knobs that I shouldn't even need? That's almost half the price of a regular stove that probably would have held up better than this one. The Amazon reviews for the knobs say they are better quality than the original ones, but I still have a huge issue buying replacement knobs after 5 years (and they've been bad for probably 2 now, so really they lasted about 3 years). My other issues are fairly knit picky, but worth considering if you are contemplating buying this oven. - The door has vents in it, and mine seems to have sucked a bunch of dust in that is visible between the glass panels in the door. I don't see instructions on how to clean that area in the manual. - I don't like the design of all burners on the top. If I run a pot over or drop things when I cook then I have to wash the entire tops of the oven, which I have to wait to do because the grates are hot. - My ceramic top has already chipped on the front and there are bubbles of rust behind the one burner. The chip is probably my clumsy faut, but there are other materials out there so it's worth consideration when you shop. The rust bubbles are disappointing.

We needed a new stove because our old one went out. I bake a lot and it's hard to do when your oven doesn't work. So I went online and read a few reviews for different stoves. I liked this one for the 5th burner. It took a little getting used to as my old burners cooked slowly and unevenly. This cooks great! The pots heat up much faster (that took a little getting used to), the oven cooks evenly and I love the timer and time cook settings. It preheat in a matter of a few minutes and the broil function works perfectly. I love using the griddle it came with. My pancakes have never been fluffier and I have even made bacon and hash browns on it. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase!

Purchased this stove less then a month ago and I love cooking with it . It's so easy to use, the oven heats up very fast and I love the various sizes of burners which can accommodate any size pan. I love the convection oven option, although I do find it doesn't cook my foods any faster but it does cook them very evenly. I would definitely recommend this stove! This stove replaced a basic

This Samsung stove is very stylish and powerful. It cuts my cooking time by half. And it's very easy to clean. We like to cook our foods with oil. Sometimes the oil spat out everywhere. The design of the stove makes cleaning a breeze!! Best of all, it was the BestBuy representative that gave me hints that push me into buying this stove. The oven thermostat is right on, and the heat comes from both sides under the oven, so it heats the oven quickly and very evenly. Great for baking, even when using both shelves. Stove top has a variety of sizes of burners, so no gas is wasted. I love the griddle burner in the center. Can accommodate huge pots as well as the provided griddle surface. The style looks sleek and professional, and is very easy to clean. Hint: after using a liquid cleaner on the surface (like Simple Green, 409, etc) I wipe down with window cleaner. Takes all the smears away instantly.
