The front right burner does not immediately light. Lower storage drawer is too small to store any pots or pans. Stainless steel finish scratches easily

Looks great. Hard to keep clean because due to long cooking stain get stronger with the surface. due to conventional oven, heating fan inside the oven take space and hence I could't place 20 QT pan.

So far stove top of cast iron and stainless steel is easy to clean and the burners are as described. Haven't used grill yet or wok feature but looking forward to using all. With all the features, only thing missing was a broiling pan which has always been standard before.

We thoroughly enjoy cooking with the new range. The features and stove top burners are much better than our old unit and puts the fun back into cooking again. It really has a lot of cooking power. The spacing of the stove top grates seems a little too wide for smaller pots, otherwise we would have given it 5 stars.

got this stove on sale and appreciate its features much better than the $1500 ranges I was looking at. I especially like the more roomy stove top. I also like the excellent stir fry and broiling capability. Possibility of fan noise was a fear, but it turned out to be very quiet. Only slight criticism is that the burner grates are inadequate to keep an empty fry pan level.

Just purchased this gas slide in range and we are very pleased with it. Looks great in the kitchen with the heavy duty appearance we were looking for. Cast iron grates come with a rough finish, so we've noticed bottom of pans are now showing abrasions. Also, cast iron middle griddle is not the best to cook on. Center burner will need flame adjustment- seems to come with flame set too low. Oven combo plus warming drawer are fantastic. Great value for price.

Totally got this as a open box return in immaculate shape. Looks amazing, balancing is a pain, Best Buy did not do that for some reason, really annoyed me. Couple things Good burners, but the big boy burner has ignition issues... Might be a problem down the line. I'm not happy that with the griddle on you can't fit a large pan on the oven, seems like a design issue. The touch panel oven operation looks nice, but seriously the number layout is stupid. I can't really explain it through text Well, but with the number layout I always have errors, the zero seems in the wrong place. Petty issue. Overall, I like it a lot. Just some minor issues

We've had the stove installed for a little over a week and so far, so good. It performs as well, if not better than, a similar GE Cafe gas range I purchased for our last home at nearly twice the price. The convenience features are very nice--especially the adjustable-size shelves in the oven for tall dishes. The warming drawer is a nice feature that I may likely never use. We LOVE the power burner and the wok stand that fits perfectly on the grill. I've found the oven to cook evenly and the digital controls are very intuitive. The timer is accessible and easy to hear. The only drawback I've found is that it can be rather tricky to keep the top of the stove consistently clean between uses. But, that is the case for all stainless appliances, I guess. There have a been a couple occasions where a pot will slightly wobble when set on a burner, but a small adjustment tends to level it out. I was able to purchase this and receive the 6-month subscription to PeachDish meal service, as well, which is WONDERFUL! So, I'd definitely recommend the range, via Best Buy, to anyone considering a purchase. I've no major complaints and find it to be an exceptional value for a quality appliance.

    Well designed range

We haven't purchased a new range in 16 years, but so far, I'm glad we took a chance with this new-to-the-market Samsung. The front burners are both high powered; the simmer burner works well; the middle griddle burner is powered just right (but the griddle itself is a bit narrow). I also like the wok feature - no more precariously balanced woks or annoying rings. Maybe because my old range was SOOOO SLOW, I especially love the fact that I can preheat this oven to 350 F in less than 10 minutes (might be closer to 5 minutes! @@@@@@@ - all this for an oven that's huge. It's so huge that the racks don't fit under my cabinets. At first I was worried about where I would put the racks I wasn't using, but then I remembered that this is a convection oven, so I can actually use the other racks at the same time. Why not just leave them in the oven? The only issues I've with this range is that the control panel might have been designed by a 20-year-old because the beeper is so quiet, I can't hear it when the stereo's on, and the clock numbers are so small that only my teenager with telescopic vision can read it from the kitchen table. Another minor complaint is that the cast iron burner grates are not perfectly level, so my pots rock slightly - just a minor annoyance, not dangerously. I've been using it (a lot) for a week now and everything about the range's performance is excellent. Overall, this range is a great value and one you should consider if you're thinking about the GE slide-ins as an alternative.

Looks Great But Several Bothersome Issues

I have used the range for about six weeks. It looks very impressive; however, there are several issues that bother me. One problem is that the stove can be raised to account for counter height but it can not be lowered below the factory built height. In my situation we have tile under the stove so that the stove can be pulled out for cleaning or service but there is no tile under the counter top. Consequently, the rim of the stove sits above the counter top leaving slightly over a quarter inch height gap. The center, oval top burner is very much under powered. Its output is pitiful. It takes so long to get the griddle or a large pan heated that it practically makes the burner useless. Except for the front "power" burner, which is very good, the other burners all have different outputs. This makes cooking a "planning" situation rather than a pure cooking situation. The oven racks don't necessarily slide in smoothly even when lightly oiled as suggested in the instruction manual. Another problem with the oven racks is the curvature of the back of the racks. The back curve, used to keep the rack from sliding out when pulled forward, is too long which forces longer cookie sheets to placed horizontally on separate racks rather than side-by-side on a single rack like my previous oven. Oven operation is questionable. I was not happy with the Convection Conversion feature. Items cooked with this mode did not seem to be cooked through. Consequently, I have taken off the conversion option with the oven settings. The Cook- By-Time option creates a problem. At the end of the set time the oven automatically shuts off and does not give you a chance to check to see if the item is cooked enough. You actually have to restart the oven if the item needs additional cooking time. You are probably better off cooking by time using the stove's timer, check the item at the end of the set time, and reset the timer if necessary without the oven shutting off. I probably should have done a little more research before I purchased this range; however "it is what it is." While the stove is adequate there are too many little things that make it not worth the money.

    What A Fantastic Gas Range

Our new home came with a competitor's gas range. The problem with it's the gas knobs and oven control are on the top of the unit. One might think that's not a problem, but if you've cats, trust me it was. Our cats were able to turn the gas on, which is not just a problem, it's dangerous. Since we had purchased our French Door Refrigerator and Washer and Dryer from Samsung, I went searching for a better option and after reading hundreds of positive reviews of this range, we decided it would be a great option for us. The controls are on the front, so it wouldn't be possible for our cats to turn the knobs. The control panel for the oven is glass (not plastic as is so common with lesser ranges), and the controls are so intuitive and nicely laid out. The burners are amazing. The front right burner is 18,000 BTU, which is near professional grade and it heats a large pot of water to boiling in minutes. The oven heats up to the set temperature amazingly fast and food comes out perfect. All of this is wrapped in something that's simply beautiful and upgraded the appearance of our kitchen. It has such a high quality look and feel that I'm sure we'll be cooking happily on this for years to come. A couple of things if you've read other reviews. One, the fan that runs when the oven is in use is not loud at all. It's quieter than I expected by a long shot. Two, the grate under the burners is beautifully finished in stainless steel. Some had commented it's hard to keep clean and scratches easily. Since there are three grates, they're not overly heavy, so removing them easily to clean the surface is easy. And the surface itself is very easy to wipe clean after use. The griddle and wok ring are nice additions. We haven't used either yet, but we look forward to having the opportunity to use them. All in all, I can't say enough great things about this stylish and terrific slide in gas range.
