    I was leery about purchasing an open box TV, but the TV came with the set up instructions, the owner's manual, and the correct remote control. Attached the TV to my antennae and am enjoying my favorite shows on a big screen.

    I purchased this tv for use in my living room. The picture and sound are good. The price was good as well. But right after a year (after the warranty expired) the picture went out. There was still sound and backlight. I did some research and ordered a new t-com board and replaced it inside the set. Didn't solve the problem. Like most tv repairs became a question of whether or not it is worth the cost to fix it. Decided to buy a new one. Definitely not a Samsung. Read online that this is not an uncommon problem. The TV was good while it worked, but if you get a bad one you will be out of luck.

    I wanted (did not need) a TV for my Bedroom. I had previously purchased a Samsung 48" so it was easy to make the leap to the Samsung 50" Smart TV.

    Everything about the TV is pretty awesome with exception to the TV stand that comes with it, which is not adjustable and ever so slightly leans forward.

    it takes forever (minutes) to make smarapps ready after power on... so prepare to see 'preparing tv. pls retry' message over an over again apps are dog slow and non-responsive... takes up to 5-10 seconds to react on remote... nothing special just youtube, amazon, etc...

    Disapointed with Samsung

    Purchased a Samsung 50 inch LED UN50H6203A a year and a half ago for my second home. Yesterday the screen went totally blank. I have sound but no picture. Of course the warranty is only 1 year. I inquired at Best Buy and Samsung directly. Nobody was helpful, Samsung offered to set up a service call at my expense. I own and have owned many TV's currently 3 Samsung's, 2 Panasonic's and a Vizio. Have owned Sony's also. Never have I had a screen go out in this short of time with this limited use. In fact the Sony took over 10 years to quit on me. If this can't be repaired for a small fee, my replacement won't be a Samsung.

    Very clear on closeup shots, such as a sports commentator. However, when the people in the picture are farther away, they are not clear. It's difficult to watch motion--It's hard to explain what's wrong, but it seems like the picture doesn't refresh often enough

    Broken screen right out of box. Bad CS!

    I was so happy to get this TV on Thursday. Took me over an hour to set up everyhng up just the way I like it. I pressed the power button and nothing. I just bought A very Cracked and damaged screen! I was irate. When I returned the TV back to the store, of course they were sold out and it would take a couple of weeks to get the same model. I voiced how displeased I was with my experience and the inconvenience it caused with customer service, but they didn't do or offer anything to remedy my situation. The young lady behind the counter handed me my receipt, without any explanation on the refund as she answered the phone. When I asked her to explain the refund policy, she gave me a look like I was bothering her. This is the second Samsung TV I've returned in a month. Guess I'll go back to Sony and one of Bestbuy's many competitors.

    I purchased the previous version of this television in March of 2015, fortunately I did purchase the additional 2 year GeekSquad warranty. In August 28 2016, the screen slowly faded to black as the visible picture slowly shrank. I notified GeekSquad, scheduled an appointment, they delivered 2 of the 3 possible circuit boards and on the 3rd of September, two techs attempted to repair the television, when that failed the rescheduled for the 13th, I was then notified that the other part that could be the cause was unattainable and that Id be getting a new Samsung television. I had already replaced the television with a different brand, so they agreed to give me store credit as I did not want another Samsung.
