I bought this to use as a smart tv so the kids could get on YouTube and watch Netflix. It is very easy to use. The picture is great on it. I watch a lot of sports and the quality is spectacular. You can't beat the price either.

I got a great deal on this 50" SmartTV from Samsung. I purchased it for my son to take to college. It has great picture quality and was easy to set up. Having direct access to Netflix was one of the reasons I bought this TV.

I like this TV. Good picture and sound. But with all flat screens the sound is not the best. So I purchased a sound bar to go with it. My only complaint is the picture size. The image is too large for the screen. So part of the image on the left and right is cut off. I tried to change the "Aspect" but found that not very successful. The choices were the current size ( which is too wide for the 50" screen), or way smaller. (About half the current size). So I would be watching a 25" picture on a 50" screen. There is no number in the instruction Manuel to call for assistance. I read the instruction Manuel but it did not help. The online instructions led me down the same path to the 25" picture. So for now I'm watching the picture with the left and right sides cut off by the screen. Hope to eventually talk to someone who can fix this, as I'm sure there is a way to make the adjustment. Overall I'm happy with my TV purchase.

Color is vivid but programming the universal remote is challenging especially for the elderly.

I am so happy with my Samsung 50'' TV. I was having trouble with my eyes and with the bigger screen I'm able to even read words . The color is great and so is the clarity.

Purchased this tv because I wanted a smart TV - great TV for the price. Happy with purchase.

Spent a lot of time deciding on a new living room TV. Ultimately went with this Samsung for a number of reasons including the cost which compared to others in this size/resolution seemed exceptional and it was on sale. I also have had a very positive experience with other Samsung products. The ability to mirror my laptop and cell phone screens built in to the TV is a bonus I wasn't looking for but has been very handy. We also in general feel the picture quality is exceptional. Everyone that sees it is impressed. The only thing we found that wasn't great was the ambient room light sensor made the picture too dark. We felt it did not work as it should and disabled it. We then actually turned down the default brightness and it always looks fantastic now.

Great quality and picture still learning how smart features work

This is the largest size TV I have ever purchased and I love it! Very easy to setup and the smart hub is great. Picture is very clear, I have another Samsung TV and loved the picture so I knew this one would be just as nice
