Decided to try the Samsung brand after having terrible LG experiences and I love the TV. The 4K picture is crystal clear and the smart option is so easy to use.

Purchased a 40" for my bedroom a few months ago and loved so much figured it was time to upgrade and replace (a very energy inefficient and heat producing Vizio VHT552 bought in 2011) with this 50" Samsung for living room. Absolutely love it! And supports Amazon video so could ditch the fire stick. It also easily casts anything from phone or PC right to tv. Great picture! Couldn't be happier. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the remote, but getting used to it. It's not very intuitive and actually took me several minutes to figure out how to change volume levels.

I love my new TV! It replaced a 10 year old TV, so things have changed a bit with TVs since then. Great picture! Love the smart tv capabilities as well.

Easy connection instructions make this a cinch to setup for even the novice. Serious upgrade from my 6 year old Samsung LCD and the picture is beautiful!

My husband is thrilled with this TV. The picture is sharp, clear & the HD is awesome. We love the options with the smart TV: less wires is less mess.

I'm going to start with the one negative right off the bat: This TV does not benefit in any way from HDR Content. It does play HDR signals, and it truly has HDR10 and not some fake feature like LG TVs use. However, this tv had a limited color gamut, which means the picture in no way benefits from an HDR signal. Also, my remote malfunctioned out of the box. It would not go right on the menu screen. Everything works, and I could select right manually using the button on the TV, but I think something so simple malfunctioning shows the inferiority of the remote, not the TV. The Remote is basic, and you cannot even reach the service menu with it. For some people, that is a big deal. You'll need a Universal Remote if you want to enter the service menu. Samsung did send me a replacement right away however, and it worked as well as it could. Beyond HDR, this TV is amazing and a great price. This is the best Samsung under $1,000 and it does an amazing job for anything you throw at it. Video Gaming and using it as a PC Monitor is great because of the low input lag. There is no option for the "Soap Opera Effect" because this is a 60Hz TV, but for most applications you will not notice a difference. If you are looking for a good entry-level 4K TV that can handle every type of use, except HDR, this is a great choice. It's bright and beautiful. For a little bit more however, you can buy the Sony X800D 43" which is superior in every way except peak brightness. If you are looking for HDR and want to stay at this price level pick the Sony. I have used both and the Sony is superior. It is only 43" though, and the 49" model not only costs more but has an inferior type of panel. If you need something bigger, this Samsung will take care of you. The only TV that beats this one around this price range is the Sony X800D, and after that is the Samsung KS8000 which knocks both out of the water but costs twice as much. There are no superior TVs in between those price ranges though, and that says something. So don't buy this expecting HDR. It doesn't have the color gamut to give you a true HDR Picture. It can do everything else though, and is highly recommended as a gaming or computer monitor.

Crisp picture, lots of apps. Was originally concerned about basic remote but it allows you to do everything needed. Sound is on par with other TV's.

Great tv, bought it for my dads office, and the picture looks great. It's also very easy for my dad to navigate, and being this is his first smart tv, I am very happy with that.

Besides the great picture quality is TV is so many other features that going online and doing everything else I'm doing apps on there just love it !

Excellent TV sharp image and great built in features! Really like the universal remote and TV adaptiveness when switching between different sources.

The picture is much better than the 1080p TV I replaced. It's also nice to have the smart features and wireless connectivity. Easy to setup and use.

Easy to set up. Clarity very crisp. Bought extra sound bar, but could have done without it. Sales personnel exceptional in explaining new technology.

Overall this has been a great TV. The refresh rate is a little slow with high speed action films. Otherwise it has a great picture and many features.

I am really happy with this product so far. Setup was a breeze, pairing with my Xbox One was smooth. The only thing why I wouldn't give this 5 stars is some of the user interface items. The mute symbol didn't want to go away after a bit so I just turn it down to zero when I use a headset and how tips pop up here and there plus one time "Samsung Extra" kept popping up in the top right hand corner. Just gets annoying when your trying to watch Luke Cage. Overall would buy again, amazing picture, and great built in upscaler (which is why I got this one).

Bought this tv for our main tv to up grade from an oider set. We are very pleased with not only the picture, but all the features that the tv has.

Great TV, awesome picture, convenient smart TV features. The color is great and this size fits into our space in our family room quite nicely.

I love my new Samsung smart TV. It has great picture quality , is easy to use, and fits well in my master bedroom. Highly recommended for HDTV.

1st tv had to be returned...HDMI port labeled for tv did not work...could not setup tv....exchanged for another and all is good....great picture and smart apps....setup was a breeze...very good beginning HDTV for the price..
