You cant go wrong with Samsung tvs they are always reliable

Was told to keep TV and that dead dot would go away within a couple of weeks - which it hasn't. Picture quality is excellent. WiFi has a few issues.

Remote would have been perfect. Hey if XFINITY can pull this off why not Electronics giant Samsung? Picture is fantastic I didn't even read the manual it's very user-friendly, plays well with my other Samsung devices Smart View screen mirror is perfect. Also the first TV that actually works with all of the included programs YouTube Amazon Prime Hulu Netflix etc. Excellent price point what you get is phenomenal didn't want to spend over $1,000 on a TV that would be outdated in 6 months. In my opinion Samsung does make the best electronic devices TVs phones. What I look for is a crisp picture, reliability and the ability to play well with others. This model certainly delivers!

Nice TV. Picture is excellent, even with 1080i signal from Time Warner. You can stream a lot of content from Netflix in 4K and it is awesome. Setup was easy. It takes some getting used to the remote, but once you get the hang of it, you can toggle very easily between picture mode to get best picture depending on what you are watching (sports vs. movies, etc.). Only thing I don't like is you do get pixilation or stutter when there is fast motion. They advertise this TV as "Truemotion 120", which apparently is just a term invented by Samsung. The refresh rate is 60, and it shows. All in all, though, the positives outweigh the negatives. Excellent picture and great features for $550.

Upgraded from a 40in. to a 50in. with this tv for a bedroom, bought it blindly since I have plenty of Samsung products in home. Colors are deep, set up is easy, and the Smart feature is easy to use/configure. The remote has maybe 5 or 6 buttons total which kind of threw me off, but its extremely easy to use after a day or two. I use my cable box remote for channel changing, which is the only issue id see with the remote because you have to scroll through 0-9 in order to change the channel. Have a 60 in. Sony Bravia as well in another room (about year old) and I think the visual aspect is an improvement. Sound is solid, not knocking the windows out but it does get fairly loud. I feel for the price, the picture/features is one of the better sets out.

Perfect size for my living room area. Very pleased with this Samsung TV, the colors are clean and crisp. My first choice was a tv with no Smart features, changing my mind was the perfect thing to do, working with all the options is fun. The Samsung is a breeze to set up, guides you thru the process. I have Amazon prime and there are more selections I will ever use. The remote is unique with very few buttons and sleekly made. Price was right for me.

This is a very good tv with an excellent picture, but often times motion on the screen seems to studder and look choppy during fast moving movies/sports. I adjusted the judder settings but it still does it during football. It's hard to explain other than the motion just isn't smooth, and it's really noticeable during instant replay. Older tvs never did this, I just notice it on the super clear HDs. If anyone knows how to fix this better in the settings I'd love to know, I've tried every mode (sports/game, etc) and adjusted the judder to 0 and it's still doing it. These unnatural choppy and sliding motion patterns were my biggest fear in buying a new high resolution tv and this one seems to have them too even when I tweak the settings. I'll gladly sacrifice some picture quality to get a more natural looking screen movement back!

The TV really does look great and has great clarity and vibrancy. The sound is pretty good but I already had a surround sound system so I primarily use that. It should be noted the tv does not have RCA audio out, just digital audio out. My sound system was a bit dated and this problem was fixed with a $15 adapter. Took a little bit of fiddling to get it up and running. No biggie. This was my first smart TV and I really got a kick out of it. I normally use my PS4 for apps but the ease of use with the TV helped me make the transition. It has all the standard apps but I was really excited to see it has Plex. I stream a lot of movies through the network and this helped a lot! While watching tv you can pull up a menu that shows information about the cast in the program you're watching, it shows your local weather and even has a few games. The TV is surprisingly good at Connect Four. I also liked that the remote control provided actually works with my PS4 so I could still navigate that without having to switch to my game controller. Also, the remote works from pretty far away without even pointing it at the tv. My cable box remote needs to be directly pointed at the box and no more than 6 inches away or it refuses to get the signal. This was a welcome change. I have an external hard drive with some 4k video files that I connected and they played perfectly with an easy to use interface. My only complaint is that some of the apps, namely Netflix and Plex, crash somewhat often. They will freeze up for a moment and then the tv shuts down. You have to turn the TV back on, wait for it to start, select the app again, wait for that to boot up and find your program and occasionally it wouldn't keep your spot so you'd have to fast forward. If you were to binge watch a whole season of a show it would happen 2-3 times. This doesn't annoy me enough to return the TV but it's worth noting.

This s my first smart TV. Overall, my husband and I love it. We marvel at the clarity of the picture and enjoy the ease of accessing Netflix and Amazon Prime right through the TV (and not through the Wii system). The only problem I've had with the TV is that we've had to "reset" it a number of times by unplugging the TV and plugging it back in. We were experiencing problems with the Amazon prime app freezing up. We finally figured out (because it doesn't say anything about this in the manual), that we have to completely back out of any apps before shutting down the TV. In other words, it's important when you're done watching an Amazon Prime video that you hit the back button on the remote until it asks you if you want to stop playing the video and then again until it asks you if you want to exit the application. Since we have been doing this we haven't experienced any other problems.

Excellent picture, easy set up, many great features, good sound.

I got it on black friday for a fantastic deal. At that price it is an exceptional tv. Very ergonomic and sleek remote which acts as a universal remote as well if needed. TV picture is crisp and bright. Great smart TV features. I was worried my lenovo laptop would not connect wirelessly, as I was told that the tv is only compatible with other samsung devices, but it does indeed seemlesly connect with my laptop, my samsung phone and my girlfriend's iphone as well. Set up was very easy, you just need a philips head screwdriver. I decided to get the 2 year protection plan as well so that I could make sure that any pixellation or screen burn would be replaceable for free if needed. It doesn't cover any physical damages though so be careful! All in all great experience, and a great TV.

Great picture,relative ease of use. Smart tv characteristics are awesome

Our five year old Sony literally blew up - actually saw smoke and the picture went blank. We obviously did not want another Sony and after talking with one of the Best Buy employees (very helpful) and doing research we chose the Samsung. It has a very clear picture and more features than we will ever use. It was easy to set up and are enjoying it very much. We had one event where we spoke with a Samsung representative on adjusting the picture and that was a pleasant experience as well. Hopefully it will last longer than the Sony.

Excellent quality, as you would expect from Samsung. What amazed me was how the TV was smart enough to program itself for all of my exterior speakers connected and the DirecTV cable box. What was also incredible was that my DirecTV remote somehow programmed itself and controlled the TV without me going through the normal manual programming steps. Therefore, it was the easiest set up I have ever experienced with a new "smart" TV.

I bought a 4k ultra HD LED Smart TV. I couldn't have made a better choice. The picture quality is spectacular, better then any TV I have ever had. I have had Vizio and Sharp 1080 LCD's, but hands down the Samsung does no even compare. It makes them feel like they were old box TV's. I love all the settings, the blue tooth capability. Also being able to access the internet or link to my computer and pull music or whatever I would like right up. I am super satisfied with my purchase and since I have gotten it. A few of my friends already want to upgrade their TV's cause the gaming quality and all other aspects of the TV are hands down way better then most TV's that I know of. Plus the bonus I don't have surround sound but when your watch a movie or certain things it sounds like I have surround sound. I can't wait to have everyone come watch the super bowl on it. Bought this as a Black Friday deal solely because of the great reviews and the sheer volume of reviews the TV had that were positive. I have been using it 6 months now, and am incredibly impressed by how great the picture is. We use it for both gaming and tv watching, and I've never been let down. Streaming capability via the Smart TV features are easy to use, and the simplistic remote is great. Would buy this again if I was in need of a new TV!

After reading the reviews for different TV's and prices I decided to go with this 50" Samsung. I'm glad I did. Picture quality is excellent. Didn't seem to get the glare off the screen from lights or windows as I've had with others and viewing angles are great from any direction. Remote is simple and easy to use. Sure there are better TV's available and bigger but for me this was the best bang for the buck. I do recommend that you add a sound bar to any of these new TV's as the speakers are not going to give you that great sound and loudness as the old TV's use too. Keep in mind I've only owned this TV for a month now but I've owned other Samsung products and they seem to be a better quality set than others.

So, we all know that Samsung thinks highly of its name. As a result, they certainly do make sure they polish both their hardware and software on their mid- to upper-range devices before they're released to market (all Galaxy Note 7s aside). This TV's user interface has certainly evolved significantly from their 2014 models (that's my other Samsung). The processing power on this TV has increased substantially from their 2014 models, thus making everything from navigating the menus to switching inputs happen quite a bit faster. Their built-in and available applications for Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Video all work fantastically well. The network discovery functions work well. The remote that came with mine is Samsung's new Bluetooth remote, and while it was a little different at first, I've grown to love it. Using Samsung's "Smart View" app on Android phones also works fantastically well. The built-in web browser cruises along at a decent speed, if you ever find yourself using it. The thickness of the TV from screen to back panel is a little more than I would have liked, but that's a minor complaint (just check the dimensions if it's a concern for you.) The only honest complaint I have about this TV so far is that it doesn't swivel on its stand. My Samsung from 2014 does swivel, and I found myself pivoting the TV more often than I realized, depending on seating positions people chose in the living room. I'll give this 5 stars for its range. I mean to say it's not like you're staring into the gloriously epic colors of a Quantum Dot display, but this TV certainly holds it own in its "weight" class.

This is a fantastic product that truly lives up to Samsung's name in quality! We had just finished returning an LED flat panel by another brand to another store due to being unhappy with its performance; sound and picture quality. Our return was approximately $400. The new set was double the price but didn't break the bank which was a plus as well being the latest and greatest models can run upwards of close to $3k. We decided on a whim, disappointment still looming from our return, to stop by our local Best Buy to browse. The Samsung we found to fill the void left by the previous set, surpassed all our expectations. The difference was like night and day! The speakers are more than capable of delivering adaptive sound from the slightest pin drop, crystal clear music to large explosions and the picture quality is amazing. We had considered purchasing a sound bar, depending on our experience with the new set but upon setting it up, were happy to find we certainly didn't need one which will save us another $200-1k. Though the remote control was a little lack-luster, its simple design was very easy to use, and controls our whole entertainment system; DVD player, cable box and the TV set itself. Options for picture and sound quality were 100% better than the other TV we returned. The Samsung menus are intuitive and set up was a breeze! If you're looking for a new TV, remember that you really do get what you paid for and that sale price may not exactly be worth your disappointment. I strongly recommend considering this beauty!

I love this tv. I have been researching tv's for the past month and I actually bought the 43 inch LG 4k and I tried my best to like it but I just couldn't. I took the LG back and decided on this Samsung because of the reviews and although it was a little more money I just went for it. Beautiful picture, great apps and so easy to setup and use. The smart remote even controls my cable box, how cool is that!
