I bought this during the Blackfriday sale for around 400. The good: The picture quality is very good. I however do suggest you change the picture and sound mode based on the program you are viewing. The built in app store has a decent amount of apps available and the browser app works also fine. There is about 500 mb available for installing apps. One very good quality I noticed it the wifi reception. I have a chromecast on the same tv which sometimes has trouble streaming but this TV has no issue at all to suck out every mb of your dsl. The bad: the stand is the only bad thing I can say. even after careful installation the TV is still a bit shaky. I'd rather samsung just put the plain old rectangle stand.

I purchased this product to replace a 46" Samsung that had failed prematurely. Two of the reasons I purchased this model was due to its very attractive price on Black Friday and its 4K capability. It was very easy to install on my existing Rocketfish wall mount. Further, with the use of the remote it was very easy to set up. Finally, my Logitech Harmony remote worked immediately without additional setup. One final comment..when I did research on this product I was told that the networks are currently beginning programming for 4K. Having previously purchased a Samsung flat screen with 3D capability (and not seeing it become widely available) my hope is that what I was told about 4K becomes reality.

We bought this to switch out a 32" Samsung TV in our living room. Already familiar with the Samsung brand so all we needed to do was to look at the screen quality. We fell in love with the 4k Ultra HD image, and decided to go with a smaller screen with the 4k (had thought about getting a 55"). Setup was super easy, was even able to utilize the existing wall mount. The only thing that took some getting used to was the remote. I'm used to a remote with a lot of buttons and being the size of a brick. This remote is super sleek with minimal buttons, similar to an Apple shuffle. Can't believe the clarity, watched the movie Tarzan and was amazed by the crispness on the screen. Very glad with the purchase.

This is my first time to purchase a television. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The picture is great, and I did do some minor editing in the settings. It is extremely user friendly and I love the smart remote. I have direct tv and it connected automatically to my satellite receiver. Very few buttons but if you play with it enough and read the directions you will see that it does just as much with less. I haven't had any issues with connecting to wifi. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, because I have one complaint, it does not come with mounting screws. I know of some TV's that do such as Vizio. I called Samsung to find out what I should do. A pack of multiple Samsung mounting screws can be purchased, and out of the 4 different sets they send, one of the sets should fit your TV. Unfortunately none of them correctly fit my 50inch TV in length. I had to go to lowes to find screws that fit properly. I think Samsung should considering adding the correct screws with each TV they put on the market.

This TV has an incredibly clear picture. The set up is so easy, I was very happy. Instructions are easy to follow. The Smart TV is so fun to have with all of the on line options. I highly recommend.

Easy setup (it plays background music during the setup). Great picture and sound. Good price. I hope it lasts longer than the Sony TV it's replacing at half the cost and only lasted for 8 years.

I love the smart features like the smart hub. It automatically switches input to what ever device I power on. The remote is awesome too. It's very small and light weight and works with all of my devices automatically, even non Samsung ones like my Roku. The picture quality is great once you adjust some of the settings. I had to reduce the auto motion plus feature because it made everything really blurry. I also disabled the Energy saving mode (in Eco Solution) as it adjusts your brightness when your not expecting it or wanting it changed. I have a wired internet connection so I can't comment on the wifi. I love my TV.

It has a sharp picture, easy to set up once you set up the remote, and easy to navigate back and forth using my Roku stick. We were trying to decide in buying a Roku TV or continuing to use our Roku stick but honestly I don't think it matters. We haven't bought a tv in years so this was a big purchase for us. The woman that helped us was so knowledgable about the products this helped us feel confident in our purchase. I will continue to buy from Best Buy. One last note. We live in a townhouse 1,200 SF and this is a perfect size.

Great pic on this TV and the set up was so painless. The remote control is comparable to the firestick and controls all components, evens takes the place of the cable company's remote.

Bought this TV as a Black Friday special. Really wanted the 8000 series but didn't want to pay the price. When this one went on sale for less than $400 I bought it. Great purchase. The picture is clear and the colors are spectacular. The smart feature is fast and the apps load quickly. The only complaint is that the remote can be a bit challenging. The settings can be difficult too. This is probably because I have a home theater set up and everything runs through my receiver. I think if you just have the TV and a sound bar or just use the TV sound it would not be as difficult. Overall this is a great TV and I would highly recommend it.

I love the picture quality and sound of this smart tv. It is very easy to hook up however the remote control is very small that comes with the tv and there are not enough apps. If you want movie apps than you will be just fine. There are plenty of those on this tv. There is no WWE Network or NFL Ticket app what so ever that made me somewhat disappointed so therefore I'm giving this tv a 4 out of 5 stars.

Overall I am pleased with the TV and it is a good replacement for the previous Samsung LCD TV that lasted 8 years of high use. The picture quality is excellent and it is easy to use, once you work out the buttons on the remote, with clear on screen direction. Connected into the existing home-theatre system easily. Only niggle that stopped the 5 is the picture mode setting, has a tendency to darken the screen as if it is doing a calibration, but I have since found out you need to change the mode depending on the program, sport or movie you are watching, would be better if it was automatic.

This was my first 4K smart television. I did not know what to expect, but I went with Samsung because it was a familiar brand to me. I was impressed by how easy the setup was for the t.v. And all of the devices such as the optical sound bar, wireless UVerse cable, Blue Ray DVD player, and all the other external services I'm registered with (Netflix, HBO, Amazon). The only caveat was it connected to my internet router automatically without manual configuration and I couldn't understand how it did it. It worked, but this initially caused infrequent internet disconnects until finally, I manually enter my wireless connection information. Now everything is good. This is a quality television that I would recommend to anyone.

This TV is a fantastic mid-tier 4K performer with some HDR support, although not a full range panel, and a great interface with little issues. Works best in a mid to small living room for it's size and when less than 8ft away from the TV. Any farther away and there is little to no benefit from a 1080p TV of the same size. In addition, this TV is a TRUE RGB 4K TV. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY LG if shopping for a budget or middle-range TV. Although there panels say '4K resolution', a large percentage of the pixels on those models use the RGBW format, where one of the colored red green or blue LED's can only produce white, therefore reducing the accuracy and true performing resolution of the TV's making the 3K TV's NOT 4K!!! This Samsung however is a TRUE 4K and while it does not have a full 10bit wide gamut panel, HDR still does get a mild boost in performance here and for the price still has a fantastic picture. The smart interface is good and has plenty of apps, although can at times have glitches or be sluggish, but nothing that hinders normal usage. 1080p or 720p content looks fantastic too as the TV's internal upscaling CPU does a great job of turning lower res video into great looking content. Standard definition looks good too, while there is obviously a difference in quality. Overall, you can't get a better mid range TV that is a great performer all around for games, TV, and movies- at least at the sale price that was paid: $399. If I had to choose another TV to replace this one at no extra cost, the TCL 55in US5800 is very close in picture, and is a whole 5in bigger, although it does feel cheaper made, has even less HDR support, Roku smart interface which is not bad, but not as good as Sony, LG or Samsung's, and as somewhat of an off brand, has questionable reliability. My third choice would be the Hisense H8C, which is a newer model built after Hisense acquired SHARP, which has a good reputation for quality panels and decent products.

I love this television. My last samsung lasted about 10 years, so when it finally stopped working properly samsung was the brand we looked at. This one is bigger than the last one, but it was a 4k uhd that fit in our budget with a decent size, so when we put it together and saw how simple it connected to the cable box it was even better. I pointed the remote at the tv and it was all synced. Choosing channel numbers is somewhat difficult, but it does have netflix with auto episode selection. I would absolutely recommend for its ease overall even with channel difficulties which I alleviated through the favorites bar.

Store service was excellent. Got it home and set up in no time. Great picture. Love the sleek remote - so few buttons and so easy to use. Using apps is quick and easy.

Awesome UHD TV. Great look and features, especially the price. I finally decided to buy a new TV for my room when I recently repainted and got new furniture. Last Year we decided to buy a 60' HD TV for the Living Room we decided on a Samsung. I liked the look and features of that TV so when I finally decided to upgrade the one in my room I looked at the Samsung 50'. I liked everything about it, I just wished that the remote was similar to the 60' one that we got last Year where you are able to point the remote and click on the icons like a you were using a mouse for a PC but overall I am happy with the buy.

I bought this tv for my husband for Christmas, he couldn't be happier. He is a hard one to please so I half expected him to want to return and pick something out himself BUT to my surprise a couple of days later, he said "we need one of those for the living room TOO!" Before this SmartTV he was having to use Netflix and AmazonPrime through his laptop and onto the tv but this gem has it all built in. Highly recommend this tv and it has theater quality sound. He was watching The Walking Dead and I came through to put laundry up and thought the zombies were attacking me....I threw the laundry....lol.

I was perfectly satisfied with the purchase of this television. This Samsung was a gift for my wife - it was easy to set up and it took only a few minutes. Depending upon the size of one's rooms, this model can work fine in a family room or s bed room.

I've owned a Samsung TV for the past 10 years. Easy setup. This TV has the best picture that I've ever seen along with (4k Netflix, Amazon & Hulu) No need for cable. The picture has a Live action affect. The smart hub is much faster than my 2015 Roku stick. Pandora blocks commercial sound. Super dark scenes, clear, bright & vibrant colors. Built in speaker seemed plenty loud though I only used it for five minutes until I hooked up my vizio 5.1 soundbar. (A Black Friday online purchase for myself $399) No Blackeye Friday insanity for me. Shipped safely to my home 4 days later.
