I was on the fence about stepping up to 4K picture. I'm so glad I did. It's really worth it especially now that the prices have dropped. Super easy set up and user interface worked right out of the box. Best Buy associates are the best- so helpful and knowledgeable. And even did a price match without me asking!

My fiancé and I decided it was time to upgrade our bedroom tv. We went into Best Buy with a certain size & amount in mind, of how much we wanted to spend. Right before we decided on a "regular" LED HDTV, a salesman showed us the clarity between the "regular" Samsung LED, and the 4K. There was absolutely no question which one we were going to buy after that! People were buying the 4K tv's like hotcakes, too! Luckily we grabbed our 50" when there were about 4 left. And the price...OMG! I can not wait to catch that price again so that we can upgrade the living room tv too! I LOVEEE this television!! Clarity, size, and sound is all perfect. I feel like I am inside of the tv during most shows. The picture quality is THE BEST!! I'm not big on writing reviews, but if you browsing the market for a GREAT tv, THIS is it!!! (Sorry this is so long, but side note: my cousin stopped by two days after we bought the tv and she had literally just purchased the "regular" tv before she stopped by. She immediately took her tv back, & upgraded because she couldn't stop raving about our tv!!)

I went into the store not exactly sure what i was looking for in terms of a new tv. The sales guy helped me find what worked best for my space, in my price range. Got the tv home and up and running within an hour! I love it, the picture is super clear, the smart tv functions are awesome. It was a great buy!

I bought this tv a year ago. Wanted to wait to write a review. This tv has a great picture but speakers in it are terrible. If you buy this tv...plan on buying a sound bar.

We looked at several TV's (all Samsung) before purchasing this one. We already have a 60" that we love. This new TV has an incredibly sharp picture, great sound, and the Smart feature is easy to use. It was also on sale and priced less than the club stores. All in all an EXCELLENT deal for an EXCELLENT TV.

This was a great purchase for me. The picture is very clear!!! Haven't had a television show a picture this clear before. It's a smart tv with energy saver features as well as a sleek and simple to use remote. I would definitely buy another one in the future to replace the other television in my house.

The TV was very easy to set up. The picture is excellent but is only as good as the resolution the program is being broadcast in. The remote is different but is easy to learn. We have no regrets about our purchase.

I have several other Samsung TVs and they have all been great but this 4k unit is far superior to all of them. Great picture, great color, easy to set up and use. My firdt 4k UHD unit and it is great. Only element that was odd was getting it connected to my Samsung sound bar. Should have been much easier.

This TV was on sale at Best Buy and I could not believe the price. I read the great reviews and decided to buy it. This TV was so worth the purchase. The picture and sound are so clear. It has a lot of pre-installed apps. The remote control is sleek and on point. We are so glad we bought this TV.

Bought this TV as a gift for my son. Gave him several options to chhose from including the Sony Bravia with the same specs. This one had the most performance and features for the money. Does not have built in Chromecast like the Bravia or the number of installed apps but it has abetter picture.

Love this TV...I did have to fine tune in order to handle the juddering but once that was done, the quality of the picture is amazingly clear...almost 3D! I also like the remote - read that people were not happy with it but I find it to be very simple and user friendly. Great TV for the price.

We bought this to replace an older TV. Nice having the Smart features on the TV and not going through the DVD player. We don't have cable or satellite and was surprised the TV pulled in nearly a dozen more broadcast channels. Picture quality and audio are quite and upgrade from what we had.

I purchased the 50" Samsung 4k Ultra Hd after having read several reviews. I am happy with the television's performance. The picture is crisp, clean and even with non-3D programming some pics seems to pop off the screen. The Geek Squad Tech who set up my home theater was fantastic. My disappointment comes from Best Buy the company. While the Geek Squad tech was at my house I received an email from Best Buy urging me to contact them to set up my free Greek Squad service as this was a perk of being a Best Buy Rewards Member. However, when I set up this $199 appointment with the Best Buy rep, she did not inform me the service would be/should be free to me. I must add that, yes, she knew I was a Best Buy Rewards member as she helped me update my account. Now let's assume this person was a new hire and was unaware of this policy. Well, after the GS Tech left my house and I read the email, I called BB. I was told that the wait time for calls was six mins. I held the line. After about five mins. the phone line clicked over. Finally, I thought, I can speak with someone about this. No, my line was disconnected. So....I sent Best Buy an email as that is also an option to communicate problems. I sent this email on 9/15/2016, explaining the situation and requesting a refund. To date, I have not received any reply or acknowledgement from Best Buy. Even to say "So sad, too bad" is expected from a company wishing to remain competitive. Other than the poor service by Best Buy, the television is a good buy.

This is a great looking TV with a flawless picture. Setup was simple. The remote is small and works with my DirecTV. The TV doesn't make a loud noise when switching it off which is good when other people are sleeping. The interface is very easy to operate. I highly recommend this product.

After doing some research on 50" models this is where we settled. Set up was easy and I'm happy with the picture quality and features. We've never had a home theater system and aren't bigger gamer, etc. - so the the TV's speakers have been fine for us. My only issue is that the smart remote can't/won't turn off my cable box. The TV is able to turn on / wake up the box, but not turn it off. More likely than not it is Time Warner that's the issue over Samsung here, but it's an inconvenience (albeit a minor one) regardless. We opted for a (much less expensive) HDMI cable from elsewhere and have had no issues with it.

Love this TV. This picture is so great, it's like you can reach out and touch the person or object. Clear, Clear, and the colors oh my, they are amazing . I can also view Facebook on my TV. This was worth every penny. So glad I decided on this one. I would recommend this TV. To anyone.

My gift for our family this year was a new TV. I looked online and read a lot of reviews and this one had a lot of good feedback. The price was great and it was really easy to set up and use. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is just fine without a soundbar system.

I initially purchased an LG 4k tv, was unhappy, and exchanged it for the Samsung. While i did notice more vivid and life-like colors w the Samsung, everything else was just as bad, if not worse, than the LG. For starters, white levels look awful, no matter how much tweaking I do to the settings. Hockey games are almost unwatchable. Motion blur is terrible, esp in action scenes and during sporting events like football. It claims to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but it's only 60 Hz. There is backlight bleeding around the edges. Netflix NEVER works. Amazon Prime and Vudu work occasionally, but I always end up getting booted off. The remote for the tv is the WORST i have EVER seen. No channel number buttons, no volume up/down. I honestly regret exchanging the LG for this tv. I love Samsung products, but my 7 year old plasma tv, which is only 1080i, has better picture quality than this tv does.

Samsung picture quality is outstanding. Replaced my vizio with this and it’s superior.

Good TV for the money. I'm sure I should've waited for better hdr but it works great.
