Setup was easy and the unit is light and thin making wall mounting a breeze. The less than 5 stars comes in the form of picture and build quality. This is clearly entry level 4k. Colors are a bit washed out regardless of content and how its delivered. It is missing Dolby Vision which I have on my Sony and highly recommend always getting if you can (the Dolby Vision that is). This unit audibly pops quite a bit as it is heating up and cooling down which is something new for me in the realm of flat panel TVs. Overall, this unit was bought for a bedroom and only sees maybe an hour of use per day which is why I went entry level. I went Samsung because of the reputation for an exceptional picture but I don't believe they quite hit the mark there. It is still an acceptable unit for my particular application which is why I chose to keep it. With that said, if you are looking for a high quality 4k picture with accurate and bold color rendering, spend the extra money needed to get you there.

Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 TV. Your feedback regarding image quality is important to us and will be shared with our internal teams.
If the picture you're seeing is not to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting that can help.
Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.
In regards to the ticking noise you're hearing from your AU8000 TV:
Samsung TVs use a combination of metal and plastic materials. These materials are subject to expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Occasional creaking, popping, or cracking may be heard.
Additionally, certain components within the TV may cause these temporary noises once powered off. Please know this does not indicate a product malfunction, and your TV is safe to use.
With this in mind, here are a few quick tips on reducing the expansion that can cause these noises.
1) Ensure that there is adequate ventilation. Some enclosures may not allow for proper ventilation. This causes the internal temperature to increase and the plastic to expand even more than normal. For recommended ventilation requirements, please see your user manual.
2) Make sure there aren't any heating or air conditioning vents pointing directly at the TV.
3) Verify that the TV is on a flat and level surface. Tilting or an uneven stand can increase these noises.

It gives you all the specs you want for a great price! 4k UHD, 120 motion, 60 refresh, smart features, and size! I know there are some better models out there, but you pay thousands of dollars or more. This is a great value at $400 and it is the second Samsung 7 series I have in the home. Easy to set up and use. Highly recommend

I was due for an upgrade and happy to find this one on sale. Setup was very easy and TV has great picture and sound. Nice slim design takes up about the same space as my old 40" Samsung that lasted over 10 years. Only downside, was that I ordered this and had it shipped, it arrived with a broken screen. I brought it into Best Buy and they replaced it immediately.

While the picture is great for this price-point, this is not easy to navigate. Plus the apps I use aren’t available. I ended buying an Apple TV which I didn’t need to do because Apple TV comes preinstalled but it’s just easier to get the Apps I like on the device. I wouldn’t get another Samsung TV that’s for sure.

I took my time to research for a great tv for our new home. Go with this one without a doubt! Amazing picture quality, remote control is very chic, love the brightness - it has a sensor controlling the brightness of the tv depending on the light of the room throughout the day. Hope my review helps you make a decision. I suggest to get a sound bar to take the sound to the next leve.

The tv changed stations at any given time, I even unplugged it, waited 30 mins, plugged it back in, before I was able to click it on, it came on by itself. I took it back, and purchased this Samsung 50', never been so happy with a TV. Easy to use, program my favorite stations. PERFECT PERFORMANCE
