This replaced a Samsung TV which was 15 years old and still worked fine but I wanted the Smart features and upgraded picture this newer model offered. Set up and install was less than 15 minutes to take the old tv off the wall mount and set this one up there plug it in and turn it on. If you have owned a Samsung in the past, you already know how this one works. The only small differences are with the remote which offers more functions which on my other tv's have to be found with pull down menus.
