Everything I needed. Great picture, price and ease of use. Only thing is pinch your nose when you open the box. Either they use smelly packaging material or somebody farted in the box before sealing it up.

This tv is very clear and has so many features. I love the fact that everything is literally a push of a button. I have a small issue with the remote but I think it may be a battery issue. I am able to pair my phone and other devices to tv which is a plus.

Our old tv quit working so we purchased this one and are very pleased. It has a great picture and was relatively easy to set up. I know it is a smart tv but we would not use that right now so I did not set that up. Just set up the tv and it was worth the price just for that.

Great TV for the price. Picture is extremely clear, remote is easy to navigate. Sound is loud for this TV as well. Only down side to this TV is minimal HDMI inputs. More inputs would get a 5 star rating from me.

As with the other Samsung Class 7 series TV monitors I have purchased for several rooms of medium size, this 50" delivers an excellent picture, adequate sound for the room size, and ease of use with the accompanying remote. All for an affordable price.

I got this TV about a month ago, and I bought because of all it’s really best features and I’m in love with it. It’s the perfect size for my apartment, and it’s easy to use. Plus I love the feature where I can hook up my air pods and listen to the TV without disturbing anybody.

So far so good with my new Samsung tv. This is my first opportunity into having a Samsung tv and Samsung phone at the same time and learning to use them separately and then together for a cohesive television viewing experience. There's still a lot for me to learn of the capabilities that my Samsung television is capable of, nevertheless I am more than pleased with the picture clarity and the size of the screen. In addition. I am overjoyed with the amount of apps that are available and with the online e-manual that are included. The setup was not difficult at all either. All-in-all, I believe that I made a great choice for my first venture into owning a Samsung tv!

When playing bright and colorful HDR content, this TV is amazing, but that's mostly where the good stuff ends... The "smart" aspects of the TV are loaded with "bloatware" and advertising, making me wish I could disable the smart features and just use this as a TV. I very much prefer using Netflix via my Chromecast Ultra than the built in Netflix app. In order to compete with OLED and QLED TVs, this TV uses a dynamic backlight feature that is nearly impossible to disable. Normally this isn't a problem, but when watching dark scenes in a movie or video game, the backlight dims so much that it becomes almost impossible to see anything. The only way around this I've found is to set the input to PC mode, which isn't exactly a straightforward setting and has to be set on each input device. (Basically, you have to tell the TV that all your devices are PCs hooked up via HDMI, which disables almost all the TV's post-processing features including the dynamic backlight function) The TV is able to intelligently figure out what devices you have plugged in, with mine easily figuring out my Nintendo Switch and Chromecast Ultra and automatically turns on "Game Mode" when it finds a game console, or when the Chromecast is running a Stadia game (you have to set this in the Google Home app first). (Game Mode doesn't work when you set it to PC Mode as mentioned above) Game Mode adds some extra processing to make movement smoother and reduce input latency, which is especially useful for fast-paced games where even millisecond delays in the picture can be the difference between winning and death. It can look a little weird for regular video, so it's only enabled when the TV detects a game console plugged in. Keep this in mind if you use your game console for watching videos like Netflix or YouTube. When you get past forcing the settings into something usable, the picture on this TV is amazing...for a LCD-LED display. It's incredibly bright in HDR mode, with sunny scenes actually making me want to put on sunglasses. Apparently the HDR format it supports isn't fully compatible with Netflix though, causing HDR content to appear unusually dark, which is made worse by the dynamic backlight. I had to turn off the "Input Signal Plus" option to force the TV to ignore HDR content to be able to watch many of the HDR compatible shows on Netflix on my Chromecast Ultra. YouTube in HDR looks great though, with some of the HDR sample clips on YouTube looking amazing. (This may be fixed in a future firmware update to the TV, but for now is a problem) Overall, if you can work around the dynamic backlight issues and find the right kind of HDR content, this TV can be really amazing for its price level. However, the amount of frustration that comes with getting this TV to behave the way you'd want keeps me from giving this a good rating. For a product from Samsung, this TV really does not live up to their standards. Other notes to consider: For those with a Samsung smartphone or tablet, the SmartThings app will control this TV and can be used to help get the initial setup done more quickly than trying to use the TV remote. It can also be directly controlled by a Google Assistant device like Google Home/Nest Home. It supports HDMI-CEC (Anynet+) for HDMI devices to talk back and forth, allowing things like the Chromecast and game consoles to tell the TV to switch inputs and turn on and off. Similarly, when the TV is turned off, it sends a signal to your devices to go to standby as well. For HDMI-ARC compatible soundbars and audio systems, the HDMI-CEC controls will let the TV control the volume of your soundbar/stereo, so you don't need multiple remotes. For some devices like the Playstation 4, HDMI-CEC means you can use the TV remote to navigate the PS4's menus. Great if you use it to watch movies with the PS4 and don't want to have to keep a DualShock controller on hand. I haven't tried it, but HDMI-CEC may also let your TV talk to a modern digital cable/satellite box to change channels, etc.

I bought this TV to replace the bad Insignia I purchased during Black Friday. IMO, you can't go wrong with Samsung! For the price this TV is an excellent pick. Unlike the Insignia, I purchased online and was enjoying within 4 hours. Easy to set up. Love it

I can only review on less than a day of having it. I am a gamer, but also avid TV watcher. This was an upgrade from a smaller 720p. The sound is good, the image is clear, it was easy to setup. The price was not too terrible. Was delivered the next day, so I am thankful.

Lightweight and easy to load my favorite apps. The legs are very wide, so I was disappointed I could not rest on the fireplace mantle. We had to buy a wall mount and mount it. TV works great. Good quality picture. Better than my plasma in another room.

I'd give it an extra star if the TV didn't lag so much when using the remote control. The picture quality is outstanding though. Perhaps I could have paid $100 more for something better, but it took Best Buy way too long to deliver it because of the CoRoNa, and I needed something, so it'll do for a while.

First, this isnt a top of the line model, but we bought it to replace a burned out 12 year old tv on our bedroom. It’s big, light weight, and the smart features are nice. I like the quality of the picture and sound. I’d definitely buy it again and it arrives on time.

The picture and the TV is great, but I don't like you have to sign up for a Samsung account to download other streaming services. The remote is a big disappointment. I have a hard time pushing the right buttons in a dark room so it's constantly doing actions I don't want and need to turn on a light to correct it.
