This one has a great picture, but almost all TV's in this price range have a great picture. They have removed most of the needed buttons from the remote, which is very un-intuitive. To set the sleep timer requires scrolling through 4 menus. Many other similar issues. It is simply extremely inconvenient to operate.

I'll admit I'm quite a fan of Samsung - but even they have had their klunkers. I had seen reviews about difficulty setting up the TV - but I don't know if Samsung has upgraded the software since - but the TV practically set itself up once I connected it to the WiFi. This TV also was replacing another Samsung that was only about 6 or 7 years old and was still working great- just relegated to the club basement in the new house. I couldn't believe the difference between the two TVs though. The sound on this one is AMAZING and the picture is crystal clear. BEST BUY EVER!!

Clearly so much had changed from that technology to this model. Loves: Turns on SUPER-FAST! Again, based on my previous experience with the older model, I was expecting 15 seconds before the screen came on. Not the case here - booted up quick! The picture has an almost 3D-ish effect to is; there's some 'depth' to the images now. Very clear cool! Bonus: When watching Netflix via my Xbox, the Samsung remote actually will control the menu a bit! A little unsettling at first but it's actually pretty convenient.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would love to give this 4.5 stars but I can’t, the only reason it didn’t get a full 5 from me is because it has some bugs to be worked out, manageable, but I’d rather not have to worry about it. When the ambient light detection is on, sometime the screen will strobe which is annoying, but if you go and turn off the ambient light detector it usually quits. Another small bug recently happened where the Amazon app wouldn’t work, I reset the TV, tried to delete the app, but nothing worked. Eventually it came back. To reiterate, neither of these were deal breakers! The picture is beautiful, the screen is a great size, and even the speakers built in are pretty loud and clear. I’d buy this one again if I had to!
