DVDs look crisper and full of color, sounds is great and the ease of use of the menu/remote is optimal. Only has two HDMI connections so you'll need a splitter for more than two eg, blu-ray, cable, DVR, games console, but you probably don't need a fire stick as most of the channels/apps appear to be available (except for IMDB) and Peacock works without needing a side step to download.

Upgraded from a 5-year old flat screen and this fit the bill. It has the interfaces required for internet access as needed. May be a HDMI port short, but can deal with that using only the Amazon fire stick. My Comcast box had a hard time synching with this for some reason. Took a number of reboots just beware. HD channels working properly. Clarity is there for our small living room. The size is just right. TV sound works just OK. Now shopping the right sound bar to go with it.

I needed Bluetooth which works well, but there are some features of this tv that I don't like. I don't like the way the apps are laid out and I don't like that it automatically chooses a channel for you if you take to long. Other than those 2 things, I like the tv.

Poor picture quality but good sound

I was unable to enjoy watching it because of the choppy picture quality, which reflected the 60 Hz refresh rate. I had to return it for a TCL Roku TV class 5 model 50 inch which has 120 Hz refresh rate. Sound quality was definitely better (don’t think I would need a sound bar) than that TCL but the picture quality was bad enough that I had to return it. Also the Samsung interface is convoluted and somewhat difficult to use. The remote on this 7 series is very complex with many buttons.
