Samsung makes a good tv. My wife wanted a smart tv for upstairs, sowe bought her this 4k Samsung. She does watch a lot of hi def movies or play games, so we didnt need to go crazy in the extas department. It has a good picture when watching the streaming services as most of them are in hi def or even some in 4k. Like most digital tvs, unless you go plasma or oled, the local channels are alright, but I feel they drop in quality. Its slim, looks good kn the wall. Its a great tv for someone looking for a basic 4k tv for basic tv watching. I have a ps4 hooked up to it, but we have yet to try movies through there or games.

Excellent smart TV option for a second viewing area (we have in our master bedroom). Xfinity app is great for customers who don’t want to pay for an extra box. Remote is a little small and austere but it’s not a problem once you’re used to it. Samsung tv plus platform has tons of free content but also tries to make you fall into it whenever you accidentally hit the exit or back button one too many times. Picture is really good and very tuneable to help optimize for viewing setting and content. At this price it’s a slam dunk.

Quality is good, and it is amazing for gaming. One thing I would say, is connectivity issues. From time to time you are going to have to reconnect it to wifi

I did a lot of research for this TV, and can say this. If you want simplicity and ease of operation- get something else. If you like ultimate control over your TV and a remote so complex and functional that it can replace all your others- the Samsung is for you. The 7 series only has 2 hdmi inputs, which is somewhat restrictive- so get the 8 series if you need more. The remote is complex- but also replaces the complete functionality of my cable box Remote (dvr functions etc). Picture is very good. Smart tv functions are good.

I don’t think you can beat this TV for the price. I ended up getting two of them. Good picture, easy to use access controls.

Simple, straightforward TV with decent picture. Not the best TV you can find, but solid value - we use as a bedroom TV and are quite pleased.

Bought this as a gift. The person was very happy with it and so was I. The price was right, and the picture was amazing. Would recommend.

Easy to set up. Picture is very vivid and crisp. The big selling point is the program guide of all the channels that other televisions did not have.
