Decent picture quality at an affordable price. Absolutely hate the UI and the forced ads though, which almost seems unchanged from 10 years ago.

These replaced the old TV at our rental home. Easy to set up and easy for a guest to use.

I love my tv, I would give it a 5 star except. I had a 43in that went out right before my 2 year warranty ended. Purchased a 5 year warranty for the 50in just in case

Picture and price are great. The frame of the TV is super thin. TV is very light and packaged well - better than my previous Samsung purchases.

I'm in my 70's and have never had a TV like this. It has built in movies, ways for me to get streaming (also new to me) and the picture is like I am right there. This is such an adventure in both sight and sound. I am fortunate to have younger folks to educate me on it's use and features. What a treat to myself. Still trying to navigate but don't be afraid to search around on the menu. It is pretty friendly and user forgiving. That has been indeed a blessing since I don't want to call the kids each time i'm stuck!

TV has great sound and picture. The tv were a good price. Had Geek squad bring them and installed. They were very professional.

not much on tv to operate it. i like to have controls on the tv as well. not enough hdmi ports. can only hook soundbar to arc hdmi. the tv speakers are not integrated to play when a soundbar is hooked up. why buy a sound bar, you don't get to keep the full potential of the tv. the whole idea of a soundbar is to increase the sound that already exist, not inhibit the tvs speakers. in general, i hate engineers, because they just complicate everything, saying it's better. there needs to be a maybe option.

After my other 50” broke while moving, I happened upon this Samsung 50”. I trust Samsung and this TV so far has met my expectations. Beautiful picture, and awesome features. The sound is my only concern. It’s great sound, but it took a bit of hunting in the menus to get it right. It puts out a lot of sound, but I needed it to be clear but quiet. There are a lot of options with the sound setting and it took a bit to get it the way I wanted. In spite of that, I’d recommend this TV to everyone. I’ll buy another one if I need a second one.

The TV was very easy to setup, so I didn’t need the Geek Squad. I was also able to sync the remote with the cable box. The Smart TV features are good. The only thing is that it only has 2 HDMI inputs, which means you either find yourself limited to two devices or buying a home theater receiver to have multiple inputs. Not a showstopper, but a little surprising.

TV was easy to set up with one exception, but a quick look to online comments helped me resolve my issue. So far everything else has been good. I feel this TV is a good value.
