We got this TV to upgrade an older one we gave in our house. It works very well, the picture is a lot better than our old one and the price was right. We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking.

Although everything was explained to me, AFTER INSTALLER LEFT, I HAD TROUBLE PERFORMING needed functions. I have had to have my son come over and figure it all out. I am 75 years old so technology is not my forte. Reading the user manual doesn't help me much as I do not understand all the terms. The picture is good but there is some pixelating, I think tis is due to altafiber. They have been out once and everything was fine for a while, but now there is some pixelating ever once in a while. I guess I just have to accept that my unfamiliaritywith technology is always going to cause me problems!

I love my Samsung tvs! Paired with a tablet and cell phone you have ultimate connectivity. I like the that everything talks to one another and connectivity is super easy. The picture on the 8000 series is superb and programming is super easy. Just turn on the set and Samsung leads you through all the setup process. I have at least 6 samsung tvs stretching by 10 years now and they have only gotten better over time. I highly recommend Samsund for all your tv, cell phone and tablet needs. I'm a very happy customer!

This is an excellent TV! I haven't purchased one in 11 years or so--this new one is super! Very thin screen, excellent brightness. A soundbar would improve the depth of the sound.

Great upgrade from my 2015 Samsung TV in the bedroom. Picture is great 4K looks great on it. ONLY thing is the TV makes a weird tapping / ticking noise when the TV is turned off constantly. Not loud enough you can ignore and fall asleep but just loud enough to annoy you lol. I can feel it against the plastic on the backside of the TV. If you unplug the TV power cord it stops immediately. The weirdest thing I've ever had a TV do. Haven't bothered with calling it in. I'm sure this is my TV only kinda thing. I would still recommending buying this TV.

The picture quality is great and the tv is just the right size for the room. The new soulnd bar makes the audio fantasstic. The controls and seettings are easy to find and use.

The picture and sound are great! The TV is so clear it's like the scene is in your living room.... Takes a little getting used to.... The interface can be a little frustrating and the remote is by far one of the most confusing and difficult ones I've ever used. Samsung really lacks in the app department too.

Real easy to setup, good picture. Nice selection of apps. Sync well with name brand sound bar(Polk). Remote is a little to awkward and sensitive

First off, I'd like to say that I have owned several Samsung TVs over the years and been happy with them. That being said, I sold this one two months after purchase and bought the Sony x80j. While I would highly recommend this Samsung over some of the lesser or store brands, after buying the Sony for my bedroom, I saw a drastic difference which is why I replaced the new Samsung in the living room as well. Yes, I took a bit of a hit money-wise but I just retired so it was my present to myself, LOL. The Samsung is adequate, it has a good picture and all the plugins you might need. Even the speakers were not too bad but I still hooked it up to a sound bar. Viewing from the side is not good and I'm not a fan of the small remotes without numbers. On its own, it's a good TV but when you have the Sony x80j in another room in the same house and can compare apples to apples, it just didn't measure up. If you're sold on Samsung, spend the extra money and get the next one up.

I had my eye on this TV for a while to replace a Hisense and, after hearing from a coworker how well the previous version worked for them, I decided to go with the AU8000. And I have to say, this was a great purchase. After a month, I haven't had any issues with the TV, a complete difference from the first month with the Hisense I previously bought. What's really great is because I have other Samsung products - like the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro - they tie in prefectly with each other. Such a good purchase and wish I had gone with a Samsung like I had originally wanted.

Great picture, easy to operate. The sound through is a little lacking. Over all a good product.

This is our second purchase of this model. The first one started "acting up" and was past the warranty. We like all the features and the size. We wanted to get another one so it would fit in our entertainment center.

Great TV overall.. no big frills and features here folks, it's a low to mid-range Samsung TV with overall good function and picture quality. This was recommended as a good budget friendly choice in all the reviews i've researched and for the price I think it's perfect for that. 4 stars only because it's mostly an average TV in the sea of others but its been great so far without issue.

affordable, good tv something to look at if considering a tv within budget.

Great TV. Picture quality is the best. the only complaint I have is the remote. The old style remote is easier to figure out.
