Will a sony last longer?

Inly had to soft reboot it 2 or 3 times in 3 years. Samsung with a 5 year warranty is still $80 cheaper than a sony with no warranty.. but maybe the sony would last longer than 5 years? I probably should have got the sony but im stupid.
