      I'm sorry to hear that the remote control on the CU7000 TV has been difficult for you to use. Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust the volume, and to MUTE the sound; you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for more than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appear. You can find more information regarding the remote on pages 24-26 of the full user manual.

      Also, please know the TV is compatible with many other universal remotes if you need to use a different style.

    I had the TV for only 2 weeks and the picture began to blackout every 5 minutes. I had to go through an hour of texting with Samsung to reset everything. I don't know if it will happen again, but I assume it will.

    I bought an open box TV and they delivered it and it didn’t work. It’s a 50 inch TV so instead of having them come here and fix it I brought it to the store and they gave me a new one but they charge me $30.? Can you please take $30 off my bill?

    After 11 months the tv stop working. Tried fixing it thru Samsung under guarantee and they could accommodate a solution. I suggest to buy another brand or a more expensive tv so hopefully it lasts longer that a year.

    Screen went black after just 2 days. Looked online and seems to be a common problem, but none of the suggested fixes worked. Attempted to unplug, unplug and power off, reset picture settings, reset TV to factory settings...all to no avail

    I install tv and last 3 hours I call Samsung technician can’t resolve the problem tell me to take t back to the store and get any other one took to store and I was 2 day late that they approve returns have to pay 50 DLL more for a membership to be able exchange

    Was really happy with it, for the two weeks it worked properly. Then the screen went all fuzzy and I am waiting for a replacement to arrive. Hopefully this replacement will last a bit longer.

    Don't buy...lasted about 30 days

    Purchased this tv 30 days ago. Today it has sound but black screen. When the lights are off you can see a little of the screen. I regret this purchase. Now i have to wait for Geek Squad for a tv that is a month old. Sad.

      I'm sorry to hear that you experiencing issues with your new CU7000 TV and I appreciate your patience while you await service. While you wait, there are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend trying.

      1. Press the Home button on the remote.
      If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues.

      Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power).

      2. Confirm that the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
      For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1.
      If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.

      After reconnecting the external device, please turn it off and back on.

      3. Test the HDMI cable.
      Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step.

      To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test.

      If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable.

      4. Test different external devices.
      The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port.

      If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it.

    picture is only pale aqua and lavender. Didn't have antenna or cable to test it in time for 15 Dady return policy so will need to go to Samsung to seek remedy.

      1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections

      2. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      3. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      4. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      5. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    Changes input on its own freezes constantly and have to reset it and its the only tv in the house that does it i will buy 100 roku tvs before i own another Samsung straight garbage

    I was told the tv would fit on my existing tv stand. It did not fit and I had to buy another type of attachment to the tv, which I am not able to attach.

    Had this Brand New, Or the Box, TV and 18 data later is not working. Going over the stores 15 day store return policy. Which didn't allow us to return it.

    Love my new 50" Samsug TV!

    I love my new 50" TV - it is bigger than my last TV but fits perfectly on my 50" table - I can sit anywhere in my room and see everything clearly - this size had made a big difference when I watch sports as all the players are much clearer - I can even see the tennis ball going back and forth without having to get close to the TV. It is also very user friendly for accessing Netflix or any other streaming applications. My old TV was a more convoluted process to access these applications.
