    The TV is great. I bought the Roku stick as well and I have no issues. The only thing I have noticed is that the sound fluctuates, within the same scene the sound will get softer then loud again. If this keeps happening, I'll have the TV looked at. Other then this sound issues, I have no other complaints.

    I dislike the fact that I cant view the tv on full screen on certains shows on netflix and samsung tv. Frustrating having a 50" tv and I cant enjot it

      Hello Chinita,

      Thank you for purchasing Samsung's 50" CU8000 TV. Please know that HD channels will have black bars on either side of the screen when displaying upscaled SD (4:3) content. Black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen when watching movies with aspect ratios different from your TV. Adjust the picture size options on your external device or set the TV to full screen.
      Go to: Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Size Settings > Picture Size

    Never trust Samsung again

    TV went into an endless boot loop. The main board is gone. Just over 1 year old and out of warranty. I was just about to pull the trigger on a larger screen. Glad I did not. I am disappointed as I thought Samsung was a good brand but no longer do i trust giving the name another try.

    While I believe we will eventually like the new TV, it hasn't worked correctly, and we had to submit a service request. Its not yet fixed, and we are still not able to use it.
