I bought this TV about two weeks ago during Best Buy Black Friday sale for $327.00, which is a steal. As long as you are not expecting 4k visual quality for 4k tv's in the $700.00 and up range you'll be fine. I purchased this TV after reading the reviews on Best Buy website. There were some reviews that stated they had no picture after purchasing the TV, getting home & hooking everything up and turning the TV on. Some reviews stated because this Samsung model had the old wifi standard of 801. 2c and not the new 5c standard that the streaming of tv shows can be slow. Because you have to wait for the picture to buffer as the tv is trying keep up with the slow wifi streaming. Well unfortunately that is what happened to me when i purchased the TV got home and hooked everything up and turned on the TV. There was no picture!!!, long story short Best Buy took care of my purchase and I received another brand new TV in exchange. Got home hooked up the TV and presto!! I had a beautiful 4k picture and voice greet me to set up my TV. The picture on this 4k tv is beautiful and for only $356.00 total dollars you would be hard pressed to find a better picture on more expensive 4k tv models. The sound on this TV is great and I love the 120 motion refresh rate. I like how the refresh rate give Tv shows and movies that live look, like if you were right there while they are filming. But the reason why I'm giving this TV only 3 stars is because of the slow Wi-Fi streaming. There are times I'm trying to watch TV shows streamed over Wi-Fi and this TV is literally buffering almost every 5 minutes to the point where watching streamed shows over wifi is unbearable. I'm hoping that Samsung comes out with an update to improve the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi streaming on this TV.

I love this TV. The ultra 4K makes the pic so clear it almost looks like a stage play. The smart tv options covers all streaming platforms. It was easy to install and set up with my home wifi. Great buy!

After purchasing this tv on sale for $399 I must say, it's worth every penny. Smart tv options work flawlessly, picture looks just as good as higher priced units. 4 stars is because the remote and features are a little tricky to get used to. Other than that, great tv.

The tv is great, nice picture quality, great features, easy to use, functionality is satisfactory. The settings menu is a bit tedious to go through which I still can live with but the most annoying thing about this TV is how most apps (even preinstalled) don’t work. My Hulu app plays videos 25% of the time. The 30 day trial I got with Sling TV would be great...if the Sling TV app even worked on the TV. Have not been able to get even one video to play via Sling TV app on this TV. I had to buy a Roku Stick+ to be able to access apps and even then, the stick does not work at highest frames per second on the TV (60). The screen will black out momentarily throughout your entire show. I had to lower frames per second just to watch the Roku stick now, so picture quality is also sacrificed. I like the tv but I’m honestly not too satisfied...its a hassle to figure things out that should be simple.

Great picture and easy setup. My old Vizio TV finally quit and for the price I found on this one I was very pleased with the picture quality, the fact that it is so lightweight, and the ability to get it setup with an easy step by step process. Some of the menus after the fact aren't super intuitive but you can figure it out fairly easily. I was disappointed that it only had 2 HMDI inputs and no composite inputs.....but that is my fault...I was looking at several different models and thought I chose the one with the 3 HDMI inputs and completely glossed over the fact that many TVs no longer have composite or component inputs...so take the time to review the specs carefully.

Bought this TV to replace my 4k LG which was going out. Easy setup and excellent picture my xbox one x looks amazing on this unit. Optional smart things integration on Samsung devices was a huge plus.

The picture quality is excellent especially for the price. Colors are vibrant. Sounds quality is excellent. The tv is lightweight and set up is quick and easy. Overall a great buy

This TV is fantastic for the price. My first ever 4K TV and I'm not the least bit disappointed. The picture is everything you'd expect from Samsung... and more. I haven't even tapped into the display's full potential, but having owned Samsung smartphones in the past and currently, I know what they're capable of. The color is SUPER vibrant and can give you that extra boost of color you might want to make nature scenes truly pop. It definitely looks like you are either standing or sitting right there whether it be a Netflix series or live sports game. The detail is unmatched. I like the fact that there are a plethora of settings to tweak the display JUST to your liking. For those who prefer more color accurate displays without the excessive contrasting and vivid color palettes that Samsung are known for, there is definitely an option for that. Several different eco modes and options for those looking to reduce electric costs. I like the fact that I can also display my phone's screen right up on the TV and just the other day, I even accidentally found out that I could do the same with my 2018 MacBook Pro and mirror everything or even use my TV as a secondary external display. The speakers are insanely loud. I've yet to go over about the level of 37 (per the TV) before it either became to uncomfortably loud for me or I risked disturbing other neighbors. I've used TV's before that looked great but definitely had some lack in their speaker department. NOT this TV! Samsung definitely brought it when it came to the sound on this unit. You also have a couple of different options for surround sound and Dolby, etc. For under $400, you are getting a unit with arguably the best picture quality on the market with a happy addition of smart capabilities that will not only work, but even coexist with other devices even from a different company such as Apple. A truly versatile and adaptable smart device that definitely has my 5 stars.

the only con i have with this tv is the overwhelming number of buttons on the remote. i have conquering about 10 of them. Otherwise the picture is great and easy to set up!

bought it st good price, and screen looks really nice, smart tv plugins for netflix and other apps are useful, quick and easy install. overally good quality tv

Picture quality is great, but it seems every time I use my Xbox, HDR gets turned off. Odd. The remote is a bit frustrating and navigating through the settings is pretty slow.

This TV is great for the sale price. Picture quality is really great when paired with real 4K content. Color, sharpness, contrast are all really great. The speakers are actually great. You can’t compare the TV to Samsung’s higher end OLED’s of course, so the darker shades aren’t that great, but I mean some lower end companies sell their 1080p 60Hz TV’s for the same price...

A few years ago, I gave my parents my old 32 inch Dynex TV that I bought from Best Buy back in around 2008 to replace an older 27 inch clunky ray tube that was giving them problems. After some years later, the Dynex started showing weird color patterns and I decided that it was time to buy my parents a brand new TV. Now, my parents are in their 80s. They do not need anything THAT special but when I saw this TV on sale on Black Friday, I had to get it. Long story short, this 50 inch TV is bright, colorful and loud for them. I decided to go with Samsung because I have a 32 inch Samsung that is a year old for my bedroom and it has treated me well so I wanted to stay loyal to the brand. My parents do not play video games or stream but they needed a bigger TV and this one fits them perfectly, even if they do not use all of the "smart" features. So to close this review: They are happy and I am happy that I bought this TV for them. No regrets at all.

I purchased this TV to replace my 46 inch 10 year old series 650 Samsung which was excellent to the end. This new 50-inch was extremely easy to set up, connected to the internet directly and has many features I'm just learning to use. Unpacking, stand set-up and activation was easy. Turn it on with the remote (skip the smart phone recommendation) and, using the remote, setup is quick. The picture is excellent. The sound system needs a bit of tweaking but I find it satisfactory for now. I'll be adding a soundbar.

Beautiful picture, good controls, great price. OK speakers. Lightweight. Sturdy legs. Good selection, knowledgeable and polite staff. Quick checkout and they put it in my car. Very impressed with whole process.

I purchased this tv to replace an old (I mean old) Samsung set that had finally died. The picture quality is great and looks great in the space we have it in. Set up was a breeze! The only drawback I have found is the sound quality. I would recommend a sound bar as the sound just doesn’t suit me no matter what setting is used. This is the reason I am giving four stars instead of five. My wife primarily uses this tv and she is fine with the sound but eventually I will purchase a sound bar to go with it. All in all when our next tv dies if this unit was still available I would purchase again with a sound bar.

Samsung is one of my favorite brands of electronics overall. This TV has a beautiful picture, and is easy to set up. The remote is pretty slick, and minimalistic. It reminds me of Firestick TV remotes. For how big this TV is, it's super light compared to the 10 year old LG it was replacing. My only complaint is that the legs on this one are spaced far apart, so make sure you measure the TV stand you are placing it on top of. I had to get a new stand. Overall I love this TV.

So far I am very pleased with this tv. Has all my services built in, including Directtv. Easy to use, easy to set up.

We love our new Samsung tv. The color is vibrant and the sound is great. Also the new installed apps are easy to use.
