2 Years Old and it no longer works

This is a broad issue that Samsung should compensate or fix. My parents have a 7 year old samsung tv and it works perfectly fine. There is most definitely a defect on these tvs that makes the screen pixelate ans fade to black. Then it goes through a constant on and off cycle after i turn it on myself. And of course our best buy 2 year warranty expired in February. This was a great tv but it being 2 years old and not working is simply ridiculous. Especially when you take good care of it.
