Great picture, easy setup. Glare is a small issue for this set. If you've got a VERY bright room you might want to check a few other options. We use it in a bedroom and it's perfect.

This is one of Samsungs best models. My sister-in-law purchased it and I set it up for her. She streams all of her tv and it works perfectly. The picture is very sharp and colorful. We tried a Redbox BlueRay movie and an old standard dvd. The algorithm for upgrading the very old dvd was excellent. The BlueRay was awesome. It is a smart TV and has most all of the streaming apps. The TV gets good reviews and is easy to set up and use.

I do not recommend anyone buying this TV. We've had ours for about three months and it completely failed. There are colored lines horizontally and vertically throughout. Samsung would not honor a warranty, as they claimed it was physical damage after viewing a photo I sent to them. There is zero physical damage to the surface of the TV, the authorized repair person came out and agreed there was no damage to the surface, but somehow it had cracked below the surface. I asked how could it crack internally but not have any surface damage or indications of surface damage, and he said it happens all the time because the TVs are incredibly fragile. This TV feels like a thick piece of plastic- it flexes at the slightest touch. I would say it's defectively fragile. Apparently a poorly built TV is what you get from Samsung at this price point, I should have followed the neutral online reviews which recommended a "cheaper" TV at half the price. No reason to buy the Samsung name, it doesn't mean a better quality product. The TV is unbelievably flimsy, I noticed that right out of the box, but I didn't think it would crack internally while sitting on our TV stand. I suspect some kind of internal hairline crack when it was purchased that extended over time. But who knows, Samsung makes a determination by viewing a cell phone photo not examining the TV. Customer service is easy to reach, and genuinely apologetic, but don't expect anything from them, they have a script and a technician in their warranty department will make a determination on warranty coverage by viewing the picture you send. That is exactly what the authorized repairman did. For those that still want to purchase this TV I'll offer this, the remote is good and the picture was pretty good when viewed straight on, but from the sides it was terrible, the worst of any TV I've seen. The sound is awful. Much worse than our Panasonic-which was a well built TV and lasted ten years-it still works. I bought a Samsung soundbar and subwoofer, but honestly the sound is still not great from that product either.

sj1945,
I am sorry for the unfortunate situation with a crack having developed in your screen. Please know that a crack will not spontaneously develop; a physical impact – perhaps small but done at just a certain degree – would be the most likely explanation.

Love my Samsung Q60A smart TV. I went from a 1080p LED TV to the Q LED 4K. What a big change! The color is bright and it took awhile to figure out to adjust to my preference. I like smart feature on the home button for Netflix, Apple +, Disney and Hulu. Quick and easy to access, Only cons is the remote, I don’t like how you adjust the volume and channels, tiny remote and must push up or down on one button. The sound from the TV is not great but I solved that with a sound bar. Picture quality and color is awesome!

Great for gaming! Colors are crystal clear. It is definitely the nicest TV in the household. Not 5 stars because it does not look at crisp, sharp, and colorful as it did in the store. I was not mesmerized by the video quality. My wife could not tell the difference in picture quality between it, our Sony, and the LG we bought before it. Going to upgrade to the Q90a

Upon many user review from this site, and professional reviews, bought the Hisense U6G. They said it was bright and the picture was amazing. Well, let me tell you it was far from amazing. Upon initial hook up to PS5, it was atrocious. Not sure if I lost the "panel lottery" but everything was washed out and the colors were all washed out. I boxed it up ready to return but thought "well, everyone can't be wrong..." Hooked it up again and after a few hours of messing with every setting, it looked pretty good. However Demon's Souls on PS5 the white border around the health bars were very jagged. Nothing would fix it.
Fast forward, went into the store and was looking at everything that was available. This Samsung caught my eye. The colors popped like a (much) lower version of a OLED screen. For this price, and being a Samsung, took a gamble and upgraded to this one for another ~$150
The difference was night and day. RIght out the box it blew away (in my eyes) the Hisense even after fiddling with it's settings forever. After tweaking a bit, the Samsung was simply breathtaking. It also had a sleek profile, wire management, and a snazzy Solar remote control.
First, and last, time I go for the "off brand" models of TVs even to save a decent amount of money.

Prestineeee, that’s the only word I can use for this thing. Sike! “Crispyyyyy” “smoothhhh” prefection at its finest. For the price you can’t beat it. Fits wonderfully in my room. For any anime watchers I recommend you watch Demon Slayer episode 23 on this thing and just see the amazing colors and quality. Anything in Netflix 4K sections is phenomenal. Keep in mind though streaming quality is also based on your internet so make sure you have fast speeds to experience the true 4K unless your using an Xbox or PS5. There is an ethernet port on the back for faster connection if you use the smart features.

I cannot be happier with the TV. Great picture, vivid and bright colors and nice sound. Even old shows look great on that TV. It is very light and the base fitted perfectly in our space. The remote is tiny but has a lot of functions. It was really easy to install. We love it!

My TV's for years have been Samsung, I'm impressed with the picture and accessibility to setting thru the remote. The only thing I didn't account for at purchase is how much clarity of the picture you lose when you're looking at it from an angle. I like how thin and lite it is,

Great entry-level into higher-end 4K TV. I have a somewhat tiny living room, so 50” is really more than I need (but it’s what I WANT!). Set up is easy, the Home Screen functions are fairly intuitive and it integrates well with other devices thru HDMI CEC. I use my TV as my A/V hub (the audio system is just that: it’s for the sound; why send video signals through the receiver?) and this TV settled itself right in like it’s been here the whole time (not unlike a cat we used to have). And now we have a WAAAY better picture. Set it on ‘Dynamic’ and I promise you’ll be impressed. Great performance for a reasonable price.
