    Great Picture - BUT - Terrible AirPlay / Internet

    This and the similar Samsung QLED HDTV's are fairly easy to set up and have great picture quality and sound... BUT (a HUGE "BUT" if you intend to use Apple Airplay)... the AirPlay function is terrible when you attempt to use it to cast from your Apple iDevices. It is very difficult to set up / initiate casting from your iDevices - difficult to establish and maintain connection, with frequent interruptions and reconnects required! Very frustrating experience. And... no fix, you might attempt seems to permanently resolve the issue. It is the AirPlay function is definitely "not ready for prime time!" We intended to use this HDTV in our Lake House without cable TV - just an internet connection... which allows us to watch TV via ATT Uverse from our Uverse service in our other home. So... we are totally dependent upon Apple AirPlay to watch TV - when - we can maintain the connection. Whether this is an Apple issue, or a Uverse issue, or internet issue, or Samsung issue is unclear - except that we have pretty well eliminated all but the Samsung issue. And... AirPlay... works fine with all of our Vizio HDTV's - so - it seems to be isolated to the AirPlay / Samsung interface. Also - the Samsung internet function is problematic, too! It is very difficult to access and play "live" content from selected web sites (e.g. Rumble, RSBN, Trump Rallies, etc.). Again... an issue we never have with our Vizio HDTV's. We usually must watch these via casting from our iDevices to the Samsung via AirPlay (with frequent interruptions in the connection). So... if you intend to "cut the cable" and watch content via Apple AirPlay, or the Samsung internet application - you will be very disappointed with these Samsung HDTV's.

    This tv started out great. Crisp picture, great game mode settings, etc. However, I believe there is something inherently wrong with these specific Samsung tvs, because for some reason my tv went black out of nowhere after about 10 months — right before the warranty expired thankfully (had to have Samsung staff come assess the problem and attempt to “fix” it but they just replaced it since the issue would be too expensive to fix). That happened about a year ago and here I am today WITH THE SAME PROBLEM! I paid $700 for this tv and I regret it so much. It’s honestly garbage because it won’t last you long, so you’re paying for a tv that will work for no more than 2 years, give or take. That’s unacceptable to me, especially for how expensive the tv is! DON’T BUY THIS GARBAGE, JUST BUY A TRUSTED GOOD BRAND (Sony, LG OLED, etc). IT’LL BE WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN.

    The tv worked well for 2 years then started having trouble with the picture quality. After having the Geek Squad out to replace the motherboard it still didn't work. Best Buy opted to just honor the warrantee and replace the tv.

    Great picture quality! Great UI! Speakers on it are eh. Definitely need an external sound bar or surround sound system to compensate. But it’s a good TV!

    Installers were on time and professional without bing cold. The Samsung 50" TV is better than expected. In fact, we're still adjusting to the realness of the picture.

    I was so impressed with the sales person who helped me look for my TV. He repeated the different features, prices several times when I asked. He checked to see if I could get a best by card for this purchase. The choices were incredible.

    We bought this TV in 2021 so it's about to turn 3 years old and we already need to replace it. When turning the power on it takes more than 10 minutes for the screen to appear--- INSANE--- Going back to LG

    The worst TV I ever got! Its been a while I didn't use it, so I tried to use it today. I pressed the ON button, the screen turned on and shut off right away.

    Warranty is a joke

    Samsung's warranty are a joke! Our tv continues to buffer and freeze. We often receive a 107 error message. We reboot the tv. Sometimes it finds the network sometimes it doesn't. The network is working because we do not have this issue with our other 2 Samsung tvs or our Samsung phones. The router and modem are located behind this tv. Three Samsung techs have been here and can not fix the tv. One tech was told on the phone by a Samsung representative that we needed a mesh internet system installed. We live in a 1500 square foot ranch house. All tvs are on the same floor. Ridiculous! The internet provider has been here five times and we have also had an electrician here. The tv needs to be replaced because it is still under warranty and Samsung has done everything in its power to not do that.
