Since I'm using this as an external monitor for video editing, I do not want anything that alters the true image, so the Sony would not work for this purpose. But this Samsung had no vignetting, and it's all around great!

The picture and sound are great except for darker scenes. There were inconsistencies in dark scenes and lighter blotching around the perimeter. After doing a bit of research, it’s due to the tv being an edge lit display. I ended up buying a TCL Q7 & not only was it cheaper, the screen is full array lit, has a faster processor, super fast refresh rate (good for gaming or sports), amazing picture, better remote control, and better organized desktop and way more setting and audio adjustments. The only downside I found was this tv is thicker than the Samsung.

My old TV was a small 29 incher, which was adequate but offered no great entertainment. So, I went off to Best Buy and was just wowed with the possibilities of a larger TV.As I am in currently living in a retirement home, with limited space, II settled on a 50 inch Samsun which is perfect for my space. It has given me much pleasure and I am so happy with this Best Buy purchase.
