Thank you for choosing the Samsung QN90A TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the sound quality and the features included on your TV. While Art Mode is exclusive to The Frame TVs, your TV does feature Ambient Mode+ which offers customizable themes, colors, and photo options. Instead of seeing a blank background when your TV is turned off, you can enhance your screen with landscape images, artwork, and unique scenes. Your own photos can be turned into backgrounds as well with the My Album feature. Ambient Mode can be accessed directly on your QN90A TV or with the SmartThings app on your phone or tablet.

Should you ever decide to give Samsung Soundbars another try, here are some steps to properly sync the video on your TV and audio from your Samsung Soundbar:

Press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

You can also try the below to minimize the delay:
1) Connect the source directly to the Soundbar’s HDMI input, then connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input on the TV.
2) On the TV, set the Sound Delay level to 0. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay: “0”
3) Change the audio format to PCM on both the source device and the TV.

Please know that our 2021 TVs also have an audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.

On your TV go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through

The QN90A features SpaceFit Sound to optimize sound tailored to your environment and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) which further detects disturbances and enhances the on-screen voices for clear dialogue.

Go to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:
- Active Voice Amplifier is available only when the sound sensor of the TV is active and the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or a Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture is connected.
- Adaptive Sound+ provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content
- Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.

Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode You can also customize sound with Expert Settings.
