This tv fits well in my apartment. The sound is just fine for my needs and the colors are very vibrant. I love the Samsung tv option, been watching holiday movies and true crime shows all December long. The only thing that’s annoying is the remote, no Alexa feature like my other Samsung tv(not a real big deal though). Great tv at a reasonable price.

This TV really surprised me. It's a google TV, so no Roku or Fire stick subscription purchases are needed to enjoy hundreds of free channels that come right from the internet and your home antenna. Yeah that's right! I said it, A "HOME ANTENNA!" The Samsung TV Plus button on the remote, automatically adds about 250 channels to the 65 that my cheap $25 antenna easily picks up. If you want to cut the cable cord, this is the TV to do it with. The picture is crisp and clean even on the antenna used channels. It's truly unbelievable. I almost walked out with a different brand TV and saw this one the way to the register. The price is right for this baby. You will not regret it. Do not judge this TV by he crappy photo that my phone took. I needed the extra 25 points you get for adding a photo.

Great picture, great price. My only complaint is the fact that they are all programmed to the same remote, you can’t change it, and we bought two of the same kind, so every command we enter i to one remote does it on both TV sets at once! Turn one off, they both go off. Turn one on, they both go on. Change the volume, it changes on both.. If you point the remotes in opposite directions and place your hand to block the signal, sometimes you can get them to work independently, but it’s stupid to have to do that. I googled it and apparently it’s a cost cutting measure on Samsung’s part. if you don’t have two of them in neighboring rooms you might be OK.

The colors, definition, and having NETFLIX is superb.
The remote-control response is a tab slow (compared to my computer mouse). It was surprisingly light to carry and installing it was a breeze. Exactly how the picture looks, it's just the TV and 2 snap on feet. I am using it wired and wireless.

Awesome Television!!

Awesome TV!! My 13 year old Samsung died the other night. The picture on it was great but this new one is even better!! It's so clear! And the color is so much like what you actually see and not something dressed up like actors with an overzealous makeup artist.
And I'm amazed at the sound. I had external speakers set up for the other one because it had that "TV" sound. On this one I don't need the external ones at all. It sounds just fine the way it is. I mean, it isn't exactly concert hall quality but I'm satisfied with it.
And the features are excellent. Built in guide, automatic picture brightness adjustment, Samsung TV Plus,.....etc.. If this TV lasts me another 13 years I'll be as happy as a clam! (One that hasn't been put on the dinner table.) LOL

The TV is the best that I have ever owned. The picture and sound are great. There is a learning curve with the remote and operating system but once you learn it you will be fine. I do wish that the remote had voice controls but the TV has everything else.

Very good TV for the money. The resolution is crystal clear and the OS is easy to navigate. Also includes Samsung TV for free, many movies and TV shows are free. My only complaint is the remote seems to lag from time to time. Maybe is is just my wifi connection. Either way you can use the Samsung app for seamless connectivity. For under $300 this is a bargain. Definitely a must buy.

The color and quality of the Tv is amazing, especially for the price. The one negative thing I will say is that the loading of the home screen with all the apps runs slow onto the screen and off of the screen. Aside from that great built in speakers and I love that it connects to my Samsung phone as well if I don't want to bother with the apps on the tv.

Brand response from Samsung

Hi Blanka,
I’m sorry that your screen exhibited damage upon unboxing and setup. Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, the damage could have been done if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit.

Picture is great. The remote is awesome. Auto programs anything you plug into the TV. It will even detect and control a game console (not that you'd probably want to. Set up is a breeze. Download the streaming services you want and you're good to go. Also has samsung TV as long as you have internet, which is nice to not need cable, but i haven't really messed with that too much. The only complaint is the sound. For some reason it's not that loud even after messing with various settings. The quality of sound is good though. Sound bars aren't too pricy anymore for a somewhat decent one so it's not the end of the world. Definitely would recommend this. I bought it as a gift for my mom whos not technically inclined and she loves it because of the ease of use.

Great Upgrade

I upgraded from a 2015 6 Series TV. This one is a similar enough that I can easily navigate the UI. I love the new dark UI that Samsung has, its very easy on the eyes at night. I play my Series S a bunch on this TV and it automatically turns on Game HDR (same for shows and movies that support it). The picture quality is fantastic, but I wouldn’t expect anything else from Samsung. If i had one complaint about this TV coming from my last one, it would be the change in remotes. I had a smart remote with the last TV that had about 10 buttons. The channel and volume controls were on two rocker switches and everything was very easy to use/find. This new TV remote has a million buttons and takes some geting used to. Other than that small gripe, this is a fantasic TV at this price point!

For the price and with the option for 12 months with no finance charges, it's pretty hard to beat. I don't use this for gaming; sports and movies are my primary watches. I'm more familiar with Vizio's UI to navigate the TV and adjust picture settings, but once I got used to Samsung UI, I figured it out. You can't use Google cast on this product and you have to download Samsung Smart Thing app (which is kind of lame) to make it accessible on Google Home. Overall, good TV for the price but I would buy Vizio over this moving forward.

Got the TV for around $300 and it was quite a nice upgrade. We needed a wall-mounted tv, and this has more than delivered for what we need. 4K, HDR and the built-in smart apps are really nice. I do wish it would let you remove some of those built-in apps, as we don't use Disney+, Peacock and some of the others, but the most you can do is remove it from the "home" menu area, it won't let you uninstall them.
Still, for what we paid it's been really nice, and the ability to use Spotify and Youtube was a big win for me and my wife. We even went back and got a larger version of this same tv for our main living room, as this one was for the bedroom. 4.5/5 if I could rate it, with the only downside being the uninstallable "built-in apps".

Picture is great. Been difficult getting used to the new remote.its completely different than my other Samsung so the set up is different and has been a challenge …but I’m older …so that could be the problem. Getting to what you recorded, Netflix, Hulu etc. that is easy. Is it gonna take some time but I do like my other remote better… easier and I have Dish. I could talk and it would move to that channel. This one does not!
