Beautiful and spacious, but disappointed at the constant sound. At this price point, I expected better.

I was really excited about this unit but have had multiple issues. The display/motherboard went out within the first 6 months and was able to get that replaced at no cost through Samsung. However, the same display/motherboard went out again three months later and Samsung would not replace. I have no idea what temperature it is running at now and it would be an expensive fix. When it comes to Samsung, stick to their TVs only.

Let’s start this review by saying how much I enjoy the Samsung 51-Bottle Wine Cooler (RW51TS338SR). I was so excited for this product because I work for a large wine conglomerate that owns many wineries. The perk of that job is I get a product allowance and free bottles of wine shipped to my house on a regular basis. With my bottles of wine stacking up in the closet, I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase the Samsung Wine Cooler. I am more of a red wine drinker, but I was pleased to find that the fridge has two compartments to store red and white/rose/sparkling wines! I loaded up my wine fridge and was please about the quality of the product, typical of a Samsung product. And the configuration was easy; plug it in and adjust your dual temperature zones to your liking. I was able to fit 51 bottles (please don’t judge me) into the wine fridge with ease with the 5 shelves inside. You will need to place each wine bottle vertically and place the second bottle vertically upside so it’s a seamless fit with no gaps! I was surprised by the distance between the shelves because I was able to fit in large sparkling bottles of wine (ones with bigger bases) into the shelves and the shelves accommodated the larger sizes. One touch that I love is that you can adjust the LED lighting in the fridge to have it on constantly even when the door is closed or to have the light on only when opening the fridge. I currently have it placed in the kitchen, and it seems like it is part of the cabinetry. This product is sleek for its size, but it does house a lot of wine so be sure you plan on having a large but cozy space to fit this in. My one and only negative is that I wish Samsung would put the logo on the outside of the fridge – there is a logo inside but its impossible to see unless the fridge is open. No one would know that this is a Samsung product unless the fridge is open, and if they are looking inside. Other than that, this product is solid. I have received many compliments on the wine cooler and look forward to my shipments of wine and not having to worry about the storing temperature since it gets extremely hot where I live. Great product!

Display lights went out just after the 1 year warranty period. Did not expect this from Samsung. I am not able to set and look at the temperature settings. So disappointing and frustrating.

As a member of the Insider Community, I was recently given the opportunity to test the Samsung 51-Bottle Capacity Wine Cooler in Stainless Steel. I was very excited because we have recently remodeled our Kitchen, redone the flooring and repainted our home and our living area has a much more elegant and upgraded look. It was time to find a better way to display our wine than on the bookshelf next to the fireplace. So far we are extremely happy with it. While we don’t have it built into anything, it is very sleek looking so it doesn’t stick out too much as an eyesore. The dual zone temperatures are extremely accurate and is a nice way to be able to store whites and reds. It is also very easy to be able to operate. I was very surprised at how quiet it is; I expected it to be a little bothersome but you barely notice it is there. There are only two only drawback at this point that I would point out. One the bottles have to be the exact standard shape or they will not fit properly on the racks, so it leaves some bottles without a place to be stored. And second, when you push the racks in, you have to make sure they click in order for the door to fully close and seal. I would definitely recommend this wine cooler to anyone looking.

IN 1 YEAR, THE DIGITAL GAUGE WAS BROKEN...... GEEKSQUAD WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS. THEY WANT ME TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE STORE.
